Love the quiet, unrushed atmosphere, they have fresh coffee, teas, carefully sourced, great vegan dishes. I suggest trying the Scandi Roast, so delicious.

Really wanted to like this place and arrived with high hopes, as the premise is a good one: vegan Scandi cafe. The menu is pretty extensive, with lots of fairly priced options with a Nordic twist. We both had the meatballs and mash which was delicious. Great to see lots of quality suppliers used. Why only three stars? The cafe didn’t feel welcoming, there were only uncleared tables and no effort from staff to clear them for customers coming in. Service was very slow: having eaten, I ordered some more drinks which never materialised. Staff were reluctant to catch my eye, so after 20 mins, we gave up and asked for them to be removed from the bill. Far from a chilled lunch, the energy just seemed chaotic and noisy.

Sort of a fast food place. They have a limited amount of pre-cooked meals, which I believe they warm up in a microwave, but it tastes very good. One of the best Langos I ever had and the Kurtos is pretty decent too. The place is small, but well decorated, hungarian music plays in the background.

Coffee Quality (4/5) I was here strictly for the coffee—ordered my usual flat white, takeaway, with my own cup saving me 20p, bringing it to £3.80. • The coffee was well-made, with clear care and attention from the barista. • It delivered a smooth, creamy foam and a mellow, rounded body—balanced and easy to drink. • While it didn’t offer that robust “kick” I tend to prefer for my first coffee of the day, it was still a solid, enjoyable cup. If you lean towards softer, smoother coffee profiles, this is definitely your spot. Value for Money (4/5) At £3.80 (or £4 without a reusable cup), it sits at the standard price point for specialty coffee in London. Given the quality and attention to detail, it feels fair—but not exceptional value. Overall Rating: 4/5 Potter & Reid delivers a good, smooth flat white in a pleasant setting. While it may not satisfy those looking for a bold, punchy coffee, it’s a great option for a second coffee of the day or when you’re after something more mellow and refined. Would I return? Yes—especially to try the food and pair it with a softer coffee experience.

The Buxton ist toll! Es ist alles sehr entspannt. Trotz sehr später bzw. früher An- und Abreise lief es reibungslos und unkompliziert. Die Zimmer sind klein, aber sehr gemütlich und stilvoll eingerichtete. Fön, Shampoo, Bodylotion etc, alles da. Eine Nespressomaschine und ein Wasserkocher für Kaffee und Tee ist auch im Zimmer. Für mich sehr wichtig, denn ich liebe den ersten Kaffee am Morgen im Bett zu trinken. Die Kapseln für die Nespressomaschine wurden immer wieder aufgefüllt. Wir hatten 2 Zimmer gebucht. Beide immer top sauber. Aus unserer Sicht wichtig zu wissen, es ist sehr hellhörig. Uns stört das nicht so, aber man sollte es wissen. Unten im Pub, der ein tolles Ambiente hat, gibt's ein prima Frühstück. Obst, Joghurt & Knuspermüsli im Glas! :) Alles sehr geschmackvoll angerichtet. Der Kaffee ist super lecker und der frische Orangensaft auch!!! Einziger Verbesserungsvorschlag, ein gekochtes Ei oder Rührei wären toll. Die Nächte U-Bahn Station ist ca. 3 Minuten entfernt, zur Liverpool Station, wo auch der Stansted Express ankommt, ist ca. 10 - 15 Minuten zu Fuß. Für die Hotelgäste gibt eine kleine Dachterrasse mit Sitzmöglichkeiten. Perfekt, um den Tag, mit einem Glas Wein, ausklingen zu lassen. Fazit: Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder! Pequeño lugar estilo cafetería: 100% vegano y parece que se especializan en leche vegana de todo tipo. Ojalá hubiera analizado los ingredientes de mi bizcocho, pero era tan sabroso que simplemente me lo metí en la nuca. El brekky 'fry up' (que se dice en el menú) consistía en varios granos, nueces, semillas, verduras y tenía un tipo sabroso y sabroso. No estoy haciendo justicia aquí, mi descripción es mala pero intente "freír". No está en el menú en línea, pero es realmente un buen combustible sabroso para el día siguiente. Nos robaron en Nando’s. El personal no hizo nada para evitar que un hombre esbozado se acercara a nosotros en la parte trasera del restaurante y deslizara uno de nuestros teléfonos de la mesa. Además, no recibieron servicio en general y estaban completamente sin bebidas granizadas. No vengas aquí: )
