The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Rhuddlan Denbighshire North Wales

Used to come all the time, last couple of times we’ve been this year we’ve found the foods been poorer quality and the prices have increased a couple of times yet the foods got worse. Sausages are super cheap, bacon is really fatty, microwaved watery scrambled egg. The windowsills were also covered in ants and dirt which put us off but tried to ignore it, I get ants get everywhere but there were lots of dead ones that could have been cleaned away regularly to avoid it looking unclean. Overall really gutting that this place isn’t what it used to be.

This is a village local, it was Friday night, and people were perhaps over-refreshed but in a welcoming and friendly way. It was quite quiet and the pub closed at midnight. The noisiest people to leave were predominantly staff, but I always feel that if they spend their hard earned cash in the same place that they earned it is a good sign. Personally I would have been happier if they had a cask ale available but other than that a good night was had tonight.

Came to the yew tree for the carvery after the reviews on here and Google. When we arrived we noticed it wasn't called the yew tree but something else (something munchies?). Anyway we couldn't see a carvery so just ordered Sunday lunch off the menu. They said we could order a mix of the meats, but they had no turkey so I ordered beef and pork. The meals came and everything was out of a frozen packet, nothing was fresh or home made apart from the cauliflower cheese. The meat was the sliced meat you buy in a packet to put on a sandwich! Gravy very watery too. I'm not fussy and was starving so ate it all, but was very disappointed.

Unfortunately not impressed here at all. The lady who served us at the till us more interested in serving and chatting with another member of staff that she left me waiting for 5 minutes while my coffee and the milk she had begun to steam sat waiting, both getting cold. The food arrived relatively quickly but the bacon was undercooked and for the most part inedible. We left soon after because we didn’t enjoy our cold coffees, mediocre breakfast and despite choosing an unoccupied area to sit in, we were having having to sit listening to another member of staff who sat behind us, giggling at TikTok videos she was playing on her phone. Overall an awful experience and we won’t be returning.
