Service was very slow. We were in for 1.1/2 hours just for soup and pudding and coffee

My young daughter was in to have her ears pierced this morning and I would highly recommend! From the moment we entered the store the customer service was great and really welcoming. We arrived for our appointment early and this was not an issue, we were seen immediately. My daughter was made centre of attention and the appointment was all about her! She was made to feel so comfortable and relaxed which is all we could have asked for. Each step was talked through with us all to make sure we were happy with everything. She has come home a very happy girl and we are very pleased with the service we received.

Not up to standard. Food presentation nil. Quality nil. Burger been under hotplate and inedible not cooked to order. Ploughmans lunch??? Wierdest version ever. 2 quarter scone sort of things, plastic ham and cheap cheddar cheese wedge. Small salad whole boiled egg plonked on plate? Would have expected some nice crusty bread/butter couple of nice cheeses maybe olives/pickled onions/sliced apple and nice chutney not branston pickle.

This is a lovely shop with a small cafe with ice cream counter. My grandchild loves the ice cream but not a clean table or clean seat today. All cleared but not wiped. Seats and tables covered in crumbs. Very offputting.

This was the worst café experience I’ve had in years, and I’m truly annoyed. I took my vegan son here for brunch, expecting the delicious offerings promised on their website – pancake stacks, specialty coffee, smoothies, milkshakes, and a vegetarian brunch and lunch menu. Add to that the glowing reviews on TripAdvisor, and it sounded worth the 34-mile round trip to Inverurie. I couldn’t have been more wrong. We arrived around midday to discover the café had practically no food. Not only that, but seating was a nightmare. Customers were crammed into the tiny space in front of the serving area, yet we weren’t allowed to sit in the empty conservatory. The “menu” consisted of two items: granola or a breakfast wrap with eggs. That’s it. My son reluctantly chose the granola, and I settled for a mocha and a slice of stale vegan orange cake. To add insult to injury, the drinks, while tasty, were ridiculously small. Then came the kicker – they charged me £21.20 for this pathetic spread. That’s an average of £5.30 per item for minimal food, tiny drinks, and a total lack of choice. The assistant behind the counter was frosty, bordering on rude, snapping at customers and repeating, “This is our menu today,” without a hint of apology or explanation. She even carried on a loud conversation with another customer about eating meat – in a vegetarian café, no less. When a fellow vegan customer asked if this limited menu was permanent, the assistant gave the same robotic response, suggesting this is the sad state of things going forward. Given the extortionate prices, lacklustre menu, and unwelcoming service, I can’t see how they’ll stay in business. I certainly won’t be going back, and I strongly advise others to steer clear. What a waste of time and money.

Great food. Server was lovely and attentive.

Worst chipper I have ever had! Haddock supper and sausage supper for my wife was ordered. We had to throw it out after eating a few mouthfuls. Grease laden and completely tasteless! Same they are so horrible and using the Ashvale branding. The one in town is a much higher standard. I was charged £15 just to throw it in the bin 5 minutes after purchasing. Waste of money and time.

Unfriendly service.When I asked for milk in my coffee this was obviously a request too far.It was 2.30pm and made to feel I shouldn't have entered the shop as the floor was being mopped.Zero customer service on display unfortunately today.

Staff touching scones and cakes with no gloves. Not first time notice that. In general staff not using gloves when handle food outside the kitchen

Visited recently for lunch, lovely meals and Coffee and reasonably priced too. The tuna melt is spot on. Great place to meet up with friends and family and made to feel very welcome. Will definitely be back the next I visit Inverurie

Expensive and not worth the money cups have reduced in size & prices have increased £6 for a sandwich cafe is always cold with air con on Staff not as friendly as they used to be

Bought a coffee and sausage roll Asked the assistant if she could give my dog a bowl of water … she said only for service dogs and if sitting in Poor show ! Wasn’t even a queue and I had bought food & drinks Not much to ask to give a dog some water really ….
