The olive sourdough was delicious and the mackerel pate and hummus were the perfect accompaniment. Loved it! With so much choice, we’ll be back soon

Lovely ice cream with an interesting range of flavours. Shop was (no surprises) very busy, but staff still found time to be pleasant and cheery.

A stylish restaurant with excellent service, elegant beautifully presented food and delicious wines. Only complaint iscthat there is only one vegetarian choice so we wouldn't want to go regularly and have the same dish each time. But for special occasions it's a lovely treat.

For traditional home baked pizza this is definitely the place to go, amazing value, and selection of toppings, friendly service, and if you still have room, great selection of home bakes for afters. Well worth a visit.

Nice local for a pint with a cosy open fire

We recently stayed at The Dowans and truly enjoyed our stay. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The service was incredible. Really enjoyed both the breakfast and dinner every night. We did private tours every day and it was wonderful to return to the lounge for drinks before dinner. Very quiet.

A wonderful ice cream parlour with great coffee and home baking. The ice cream flavours available are amazing. The home made cakes cater for allergy intolerances. Worth trying out some of the tropical and asian flavours.

Great experience , Anya and Darren are a wonderful couple great personalities and people persons a prerequisite for the "Sidings Cafe" , the quiche and Darren's pastry is to die for likewise Anja's magic cakes . A visit is unforgetable ,

Wir waren innerhalb unserer sechs Tage Aufenthalt in Dufftown dreimal hier zum Abendessen! Ob Fish & Chips, Burger oder Roastbeef, das Essen war wirklich immer toll. Vor oder nach dem Essen sind wir dann gerne in die zugehörige Bar für ein paar Biere. Diese Gaststätte ist wirklich empfehlenswert. Heutiger Name der Gaststätte "Whisky Capital Inn"

This place has a lovely, friendly atmosphere and the sweet crepes and bubble waffles are to die for. We love to come here to have soup of the day and then a treat after. Also tried the hot dog, it was huge with lots of filling and very tasty. Same goes for their tuna panini. We turned this place into our go to for lunch out and always have a nice chat with the owner when we are there too. Can only recommend.

The cakes looked and tasted amazing but it was ruined by the smell of old fryer fat, it was so bad I felt sick and had to wash jackets etc when we got home, it really ruined the experience as it was that strong. Also I don't mine paying an extra charge for sitting in with cake but do think it needs to be a set charge for each cake say 20p per cake bought, my son's cake had a 30p charge but mine was 70p extra added, doesn't seem right to me, I'd rather see a set charge instead of what cake I buy as that put me off. Cakes tasted good though but I wouldn't rush back due to these issues.

While staying at findhorn bay camp site we decided to try Pizza for a quick meal . We had ham and pineapple pizza , garlic bread with feta dip and finished it off with tiramisu.It did not disappoint, especially the tiramisu.Decent size of pizza , plenty for 2 of us with 2 slices left to eat later .Didn’t have long to wait .

Wow! Wow! And thrice, Wow! What a wee gem. Great location, friendly and welcoming - really hospitable! Dog friendly Great coffee! And I haven't mentioned the food yet! The scones are to die for, and all pieces are homemade and on the premises. First time I have ever had pesto with a scone, and OMG, did it work! Will definitely be back again (and again and again)! Cannot recommend this wee cafe highly enough.
