Recommended by friends, this is the best discovery all year. With competent and friendly staff, clear views of the lough and tray bakes best described as, ‘industrial’ we just keep coming back. It’s a safe bet if you’re trying to make a good impression. I almost forgot to mention the pancake and bacon stacks. Heading in again this morning. Can’t keep away.

This is a really lovely restaurant in the middle of town. As a coeliac it can be difficult to trust the staff but Jill and her wonderful team of waitresses were very knowledgeable and had no hesitation in answering all my questions. The food was A1, served hot and with a smile. Thank you for making our evening, we will be back. Best wishes from the Donegal visitors.

Overall not really a friendly vibe. Waiting staff rude and anything I asked for seemed like a hassle. And its not like i was asking for much. Just a latte with sugar 🤣when staff are not happy in the job it shows. And it very often can make the customer feel like they shouldnt be there! But Im a paying customer at the end of the day. Too many other beautiful places in enniskillen to be bothered to come here again. Food was not great either. Was just about Average. The prices are fair. Overall a poor experience. Glad I ticked it of my list though.

Ventured in here for first time in years after a terrible experience before. Unfortunately I met the boss and alas nothing has changed … all is well and good until you raise a query.. then I was treated very poorly and aggressively. All I wanted was a coffee and when I checked about the milk being used I was made to feel like an idiot for asking…. Never again

Lovely establishment with friendly staff. However, no guidance or explanation of the facilities was provided. Unfortunately, the premises were below standard. No hot water. Drainage blocked such that a major room flood was narrowly avoided. We were unable to shower and the toilet had no top lid cover. On discussing this matter with the owner we were left feeling very disappointed and used. He refused to make any adjustments or allowances to compensate for the situation we were forced to endure. I would definitely NOT recommend this establishment as a place to stay.

I can't remember when I last saw this place open. Not Easter why. What is wrong with fermanagh when they can't get their act together for tourists or people out for a walk. Open the tea rooms the demand is there open pop ups do something. Please use the beauty of the area and do something to accommodate the people. Go to tourist spots and see learn what they are doing ASAP as you have to catch up big time

Kept me waiting. Served the lady who came after me first. Then got my order wrong. Toast dry, hardly any mushrooms and that was half my order. Unimpressed.

I had the displeasure of "eating" here on 21st December 2024. If it was possible to give a negative score I would have. Let me explain: Arrived just after 5pm and ordered soup and mains from the set main. £30 give or take a few pence. Both soup came out cold with a slice of cheap supermarket bread (a crusty roll would have been nice giving the price - but I digress) and no butter. I mentioned this to the waitress (who was pleasant to her credit, and apologetic) who offered to microwave it. I politely declined as it had clearly already been microwaved, that much was apparent. Drank the cold soup (notice I said drank and not ate) in anticipation of a main which surely could not a worse than the starter, or could it? I ordered steak (which carried a £6 excess) with a portion of onion rings and mash. Approximately half an hour later out came the mains, with a worrying lack of steam emitting from them. By lack I mean completely absence. The portion of onion rings totalled 1.5 miniscule offerings. Call me old fashioned but I was expecting at least 2 in a portion and to be bigger than £2 coins in circumference. I would have preferred to have received none and to be told they were out of stock. There was a portion of chips that had not been ordered and no mash, when I mentioned this of course it was on the way, but the length of time it took give me cause to doubt this. In any case it should all be served together, especially in light of the temperature control issues. . Maybe the flavour would make up for these oversights? Again how foolish of me to think such a thing! The steak was cold as stone, on a cold plate without a steak knife, mash or condiments. The steak was absolutely swimming in salt rendering it totally inedible. I managed one mouthful of the cold, salty monstrosity and gave up. I complained yet again and was offered to have it re-heated also. A radical idea might be to cook things to temperature in the first place instead of offering to reheat everything retrospectively. The steak was well done (medium requested) and might have been warm has it now been sat for half an hour after the soup cocktail. This was the least of my worries by now. I just wanted something warm and edible. I was out of luck on both fronts. The waitress was apologetic but given that there were only 7 customers and us 2 dining, I would hate to see how they would cope on a business evening. It became embarrassing having to call her over on at least 3 separate occasions. I managed one mouthful and gave up despite my ravenous hunger. It really should have come with a health warning, especially as my dining partner has to control his sodium intake. I complained yet again and was offered to have it heated up to which I declined as I had lost the will to live by then. The number of errors in such close proximity was a frankly hard to believe The "chef" then appeared only to accuse me of lying saying everything was hot as it left the kitchen. He put his hand on the peppered steak jug which was hot and that was good enough for him as evidence of a piping hot banquet. I notice he would not touch the cold plate despite me asking him to do so several times. He just kept repeating the same tired line that it was hot when leaving the kitchen. I know touching a patron's plate can present H&S issues but it was obviously I was not eating is by then. I don't know which kitchen he was referring too but given the fact that nobody in the establishment knew how to switch on the bathroom lights, it would make you wonder. To his credit he had developed a ground-breaking new food preparation technique where food could be served piping hot on cold plates, without any steam. It defies even science. I wouldn't bother patenting it as I get the feeling demand will be minimal. I don't think Heston Blumenthal will quaking in his boots. 2 onlookers stood in amazement at the adjacent table as the chef stood and argued the food temperature with me, highly unprofessional. I went outside before I said "something I regret". The onlooker came outside for a chat and to express his complete and utter disbelief at what he has just witnessed. Himself, and his partner who had come to eat changed their minds after the Fawtly Towers-esque experience I had just be subjected to which they fortunately for then, overheard. I turn 44 years olds in 2 weeks and this was without question, amongst the worst dining experiences I have ever had, in this country or abroad. The fact that after having my honesty called into question that the establishment then had the audacity to charge full price was shocking. Bad food is one thing, but being spoken to like an idiot by someone 20 years by junior, masquerading as a chef is completely unacceptable and speaks volumes about the type of establishment it’s set to become. I hope management read this review and take urgent action about this maverick attitude to hospitality. I wouldn't bring my dog to eat there and the fact that we were expected to pay full price for something that had not been eaten was shameful. I did not come wanting a free lunch which is how I was made feel. I would understand if I had complained after eating it but the steak was almost completely untouched. With so many good restaurant struggling to survive it was a truly sickening experience.
