Recommended by friends, this is the best discovery all year. With competent and friendly staff, clear views of the lough and tray bakes best described as, ‘industrial’ we just keep coming back. It’s a safe bet if you’re trying to make a good impression. I almost forgot to mention the pancake and bacon stacks. Heading in again this morning. Can’t keep away.

Three of us stopped by on Tuesday May 10th at 3.30 pm as we wanted to have coffee etc in Enniskillen somewhere with a view of the laugh. We were so disappointed to find the cafe closed despite the notice on the door which said it was open till 4.00. Don’t know if this happens often but surely this is not good for business.

My wife and I called in to the Ardowen Cafe one afternoon last week before leaving Enniskillen to drive home. Best decision ever! Great coffees, gorgeous scones and tray bakes and very friendly staff. We sat near the window looking across the Erne at wonderful winter scenery. Definitely on our list for next visit to Fermanagh.

This place was recommended by local friends and it lived up to expectations. Food was very good, my salad in particular was substantial and excellent - without the guilt. Those with me thought the same. I would certainly go back here again. And great to have a decent car park as well and the restaurant had great views of the lough. We were advised to book and the phone system wasn't great and it took us several attempts to get a delightful Sophie who confirmed our booking on the phone. Overall, highly recommended.

The location of this restaurant is breathtaking. It overlooks Lough Erne and has a mooring facility. The food is of good quality and adequate for lunch or a snack. To my knowledge it does not offer food at night--only drinks on performance nights.

Visited the Ardhowen Theatre Cafe for lunch time meal. Ardhowen Theatre is situated on the main Enniskillen- Belfast Road and is well sign posted and set to the waterside backdrop of beautiful Lough Erne. It has its own private Car Parking and also has mooring births for any visitors arriving by water. Recently under new management, a well presented Menu is handed out on arrival with all the Staff very professional and engaging with diners. Saturday visiting only also offers a Brunch Menu in addition to the extensive Breakfast and Lunch choices. You can have a light lunch or a more filling option depending on your personal needs. I ordered a Cheeseburger with Sweet Potato Fries and my wife choose a Bake Potato with Chicken option. Food was presented beautifully with my Burger meal outstanding and The Baked Potato filled beautifully with Chicken and coleslaw. The side salad was exceptional on both dishes. This is a wonderful location for Lunch, overlooking the water and with a open plan glass fronted eating area, it is a memorable eating experience. The food is amazing and well worth making the effort to experience.Highly recommended

A thimble of bland Soup for starter. Dry piece of beef for main. And a sticky toffee pudding for desert,; that was so hard you could have driven it 300 yards off a tee on the back 9. Overpriced for the quality of food.

This is a really lovely restaurant in the middle of town. As a coeliac it can be difficult to trust the staff but Jill and her wonderful team of waitresses were very knowledgeable and had no hesitation in answering all my questions. The food was A1, served hot and with a smile. Thank you for making our evening, we will be back. Best wishes from the Donegal visitors.

Just brilliant. We were passing through town and stumbled across this wonderful place at lunchtime. Food was great ( portion of ham pie and salad and a great ham and turkey sandwich) They are generous meals so you can share and then fit in one of the marvellous range of sweet treats. Coffee great , priced well

We decided to come to the bee's knees as it was my husbands birthday and we had never tried it before , (mainly as we don't like queueing to get into places ) , thankfully we were at the start of the queue when we joined and it drastically grew, waited 10/15 minutes outside for a table, once seated the menu had plenty on it, food arrived quickly and was lovely, no complaints, decently priced, friendly service. overall good experience but maybe a bigger shop without people queueing would entice me back faster, as you feel rushed within yourself that someone's waiting for your table, they say its a good sign when there's queues outside a place.
