I had heard of the Cottage Coffee shop and their wonderful scones previously so this was high on my list of places to visit in Derry. It lived up to my expectations. The scones are the very best i have ever tried. Four different kinds to choose from. We enjoyed it so much that on on first day here we went for morning coffee and scones and returned for our afternoon coffee. Do not miss this gem in the Craft Village. Staff are all lovely and with great customer service but i have to say that this was my favourite place in Derry! The amount of people at the entrance looking for a table is evidence enough that it is great.

Esta es una pequeña panadería fantástica que vende deliciosos pasteles, envolturas, sándwiches y panecillos calientes dentro de la Ciudad Amurallada. Los precios son realmente buenos (una taza de té por 80 p, por ejemplo) y la comida deliciosa. Excelente servicio amigable. Visitamos aquí tres veces en dos días porque era tan bueno y conveniente, y como está ubicado justo al lado del Diamond, hay muchos lugares cerca para sentarse.

The Ethical Weigh is a great spot to get healthy vegan food. Vegans certainly are not the only people who go there. Lots of local villagers love the fresh, delicious snacks you can get. There is also a wide range of coffees. You need to come to the Ethical Weigh.

Sólo cayó en Bar Dukes para una rápida pinta antes de llegar el tren a casa. La categoría de 5 estrellas es para el Guinness. Nunca he probado una pinta de stout tan bueno como este. Media docena de intenciones de estar en el bar cuando fui, principalmente hablar de fútbol. Parecía un tipo simpático camarero de colega y me agradeció en mi camino de salida.

We really wanted to find a locals pub with live music. Didn’t fancy the touristy bars in the centre. This was one of the friendliest bars we found on our tour of Ireland. Great atmosphere and live music on the Friday night we visited. Couldn’t fault our night in here. Superb Guinness. Many thanks to the staff and locals for a memorable night.

As someone you dines quite often in Derry always city centre. I decide because the town was a little hectic to try just outside the town. And I am really glad I did! I am sure to locals this place is well known but for me it is a great find and will definitely be returning for future events. The Staff were super friendly and nothing was to much bother just hope the management really appreciate the staff they have as they could walk in to any business and improve it 10 fold. Food was outstanding couldn't fault a thing and was really well priced. Over all experience 10/10 would highly highly recommend this to anyone.

This looks lovely and has a nice vibe. The food however was disappointing. The full breakfast consisted of reheated, shrivelled meat. The pancakes were dry and cold and burnt. The coffee was decent but generally we were very disappointed, waste of money I’m afraid.

We attended Browns Bonds Hill on 26th Saturday night, the atmosphere was pleasant, a good buzz about the restaurant. Went for the tasting menu with wine. Staff very friendly and attentive. Wine was good but not exceptional, as was the food, but certainly no complaints. only one small downer to the evening was that our daughter had bought us a £50 voucher, unfortunately we had a major fire in our house and the voucher was lost. Even though we had proof of purchase, suddenly Browns turned into a corporate restaurant, and even the suggestion of a discount possibly for a future meal was met with the computer says no reaction. This being our third tasting menu meal at your restaurant, unfortunately I think will be our last. kind Regards Jon Wilson

Amazing staff who were talkative and able to interact well with customers!! (Even spilling a few funny jokes along the way). However service time was quite slow. Understandable during busy times of the year like coming up to Christmas but there was only a few other tables seated in the place. Overall lovely food and lovely staff though - some amazing deals on as well, will be back!

The food was so good my soul ascended to god and I spiritually high fived him

The food and service was very good. Good atmosphere. Very attentive staff. Special mention to Geraldine. The live music is an added bonus.
