The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Northern Ireland

Ordered small fry which was mediocre and semi warm. Service without a smile. From experience until recently free tea with breakfast food as described but not any longer now. Paid £15.65 sharing a pot of not hot tea which was supposed to be separate. Consider this to be beyond the pale. Can't understand why Management doesn't take action based on Trip Advisor review summary for this restaurant. Return visit - no, elsewhere.

Absolutely adore this establishment. Very well priced, food exceptional. The staff, especially Robert make it! Located right in the middle of Whiteabbey with views across Belfast lough. Sometimes there’s a small wait for a table, which shows how popular and good it is. Highly recommend the salt & chilli chicken 😍😍😍 - chef has added coriander to this dish and it was a superb addition. Being a regular at Sozo is like eating with family and friends constantly. Such a relaxed atmosphere & the staff cannot do enough for you. Defo my go to for mid week lunch :-)

Booked a table on Christmas day, on their booking system,at 13h30 . When we arrived the restaurant was closed. How to spend a Good Christmas

My partner and my son went for Sunday Carvery. The food was absolutely delicious. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. We definitely will be going more often. Service with a smile is priceless x

Glad to see that there has been an improvement here. Staff really do need training. Forgot to bring dessert menu and thus forgot about us. Had to chase them down. So well done for the beginning of the evening, not so much for the rest. You missed out on quite a lot of sales because of this.

Called in to Sallys today for lunch with family on a visit to Omagh from my home in Derry. We had a really great experience. A very clean and well decorated bar/restaurant and the food was first rate and very reasonably priced. A special thanks to the staff who were extremely friendly and highly efficient. We will definitely be back!

Rude staff, very unaccommodating to my partner and baby. The young lady serving us made a passive-aggressive comment about our pram at the back table, saying it was the largest table and meant for a bigger party, which we actually had. Then, when we asked the other lady to make the drinks to go, she let out a loud sigh! Extremely unprofessional staff and very disappointing overall.

no wifi and no phone signal- not worth your time if you need to be accessible or use the internet. Staff unhelpful when asked about lack of WiFi

Festive mash sounds good until you see what you get for £14.99 processed turkey ham thick with fat ,no veg & swimming in gravy diffently not worth the money..

Carriages Bistro, Larne 4th August 2024 There are a number of conflicting reviews about this place. When we ate there, the previously-mentioned problems were very much in evidence. The service was lackadaisical, with waitresses too busy exchanging local gossip to pay attention to guests. At the end of our meal, I had to stand up and find a waitress in order to pay my bill. (We’d finished our meal 10 minutes earlier). The food: I had Scampi and “creamed potato”. Creamed potatoes were mentioned before in this review site. Mine were barely warm, and lumpy. I have known how to make creamed potatoes since I was 10 years old. It’s hard to believe that anyone on the island of Ireland does not know how to prepare this simple potato dish. I asked for carrots and peas as my vegetables. The carrots were at room temperature. The peas were tinned processed peas – almost unheard of in this day and age. They reminded me of school lunches in the ‘60s. I must say, however, that my scampi was delicious. I’ve seen some good and bad reviews of this place – an equal balance between hit and miss. Our night was a miss. Maybe a manager or a team leader was missing, or (and) maybe a head chef was missing. Poor service; poor food standard.

A great place for lunch. Friendly staff and a good selection of delicious food. The bacon and lentil soup was excellent and so were the paninis.

I love this wee cafe. It looks unassuming it doesn’t try to be anything it isn’t like a few others in Bushmills, the food is out of this world. I had a fry and it was amazing. I’ve tried a few other dishes too and they have been amazing. Staff are helpful and friendly. Portion sizes are big and the prices are good. All in all it’s the best place to eat in Bushmills.

Not happy got a takeout for the kids the chips were cooked in dirty oil. The colour and taste was completely unacceptable for £6. I wish i had checked inside the containers before I left the building.
