Sinnamon Coffee in Belfast

Place is dirty, shocking smell like BO toilets need cleaned seats need renewed very grimy and worn. Buns are stale on a positive the coffee is nice.

As above weeks now no Internet, over the odds priced coffee and stale rice crispy squares. Must have changed hands. Awful now. First Avenue other side of road is better.

Was in a hurry so nipped in to get a coffee, 4 staff behind the counter just looked at me then looked away, stood there for a minute, still didn’t get served. Went across the road to the paper cup and got served with a smile straight away. Only have a 15 minute break, don’t have time for poor service.

Food was fantastic staff are friendly and welcoming. Great wee spot for breakfast and brunch. A little something for everyone.

No need to serve a scalding hot cappuccino. Train your staff to make coffee properly.

I love this coffee shop for a three reasons. First, the staff are absolutely lovely. They are so fun and friendly even though the shop stays very busy. Second is the coffee and the tea. I highly recommend the Americano, the latte and the tea. Lastly, the food is really nice too. In fact a few times I even ordered some food via deliveroo when I had company just because I knew it's consistently good food. I recommend the stew, and the vegan bean chili as well as the club sandwich. Actually pretty much all of it is great. I wish I had more time to spend there but now that I wrote this I have made a decision to head over soon.

Called in with family who sat at a vacant table while I went to join queue at till. Informed by staff that it was first come first served and my family then had to leave the table. Appears to be a new rule in place as I have been a loyal customer for several years and this is the first I have been aware of this rule. Just making other groups of customers aware that you all need to queue and order before attempting to get a table.

Stopped here for a quick lunch and coffee with my husband. Service was super fast. Coffee was excellent - served in a big mug that felt like it had been preheated, as it should! I got a large and it stayed hot to the very last drop and was served at just the right drinking temperature which didn't give me mouth burns. Seems to be a dying art in coffee establishments these days, difficult to find the perfect serve! Ordered paninis for lunch - again served perfectly and were very tasty. Could have done with napkins being provided with the cutlery as we had to ask for them eventually. This was the only niggle. Definitely would return for more coffee and a treat next time as the apple pie looked amazing!

I dunno when I posted my initial review of Sinnamon, but it must be a good 4 years ago now. And not much has changed. The same exceptional customer service I've seen for the past 4 years. You could easily spend the whole day there if you wanted, and it'd be totally worth it! I recommend spending your winter evenings here with a hot chocolate.

Great spot for a relaxing coffee, dessert and chat. Staff are friendly and very attentive. Plenty of seating inside and out. Very good selection of pastries and cake.

Nice quiet little cafe, got breakfast in there when I was on a trip up to Belfast and staff were helpful. Ended up ordering the bacon pancakes and they were good 👍 Was going to ask for some more milk for my tea but ultimately ended up not needing it. Overall nice enough place.

Middling. I ordered the bacon cranberry and Brie panini and an Aero chocolate traybake. The panini was not great. Bread was not the freshest and the chef had opted to use a very crispy streaky bacon. I understand his/her logic however this particular bacon left my mouse feeling very greasy afterwards. I have to say the Aero traybake was very good. Not often you see them I would defiantly say the traybakes are the best looking thing here. Interior was a little worn, but plenty of spaces to sit inside and out

Didn't try the food so cannot comment on the quality of the food but the customer service was amazing and the coffee was better than the bigger brands i.e Costa and Starbucks

Everything is great but I just want to let you guys know that I've got the matcha coffee twice and it tastes like fish. This happens when you make matcha coffee wrong by heating it up too much or using a bad quality matcha. Maybe you guys should buy a different type or Google how to properly make it because both times I got the matcha latte it genuinely tastes like fish and I can't drink it. Easily fixed though

Sinnamon Coffee is a great little coffee shop in the heart of Stranmillis. We shared a coffee and a bacon/sausage bap as we were in a hurry but it was all really good! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

I visit Belfast regularly and go daily to Sinnamon. Enjoy the welcome and chats with the staff. I always oder the same toasted sandwich and the staff dont mind me having my own combination of fillings. I recommend their flat white coffee. No matter who makes it the standard is consistent unlike other coffee shops where it depends who makes it. I wish the kitchen stayed open after 3pm and they didnt close at 7pm

Nice relaxed venue. Reasonably priced. Great coffee. They have a substantial vegan menu. My wifes dish of poached eggs with avocado on toast was really good. My breakfast panini seemed like the sausage and bacon had been microwaved.

Went twice with my child and left twice before I even ordered due to rude staff. Has been fine when I have been without my toddler. Odd

As a coeliac its very difficult to find good places to eat sometimes. I asked what I could have that was gluten free from the menu and was told there was no gluten free options! This is 2022- surely as purveyors of food and drink they should have open to all food intolerances? I have the 2 stars for the American waitress who was excellent and provided great customer service. The other staff not soo much!

I will start with the staff, massively helpful, to the point of making a few suggestions on our food. Turned out they were right on the mark. Food was excellent staff exceptional. It is a busy little joint so don't expect to go and simply get seated right away, especially at breakfast and lunch times. Certainly would recommend 👌

The location is good, I thought I will find more cinnamon rolls, but It was not! Normal cafe..

In Stranmillis Road branch, had mid morning toasted sourdough with avocado and 2 poached eggs, but the avocado was not nice and I usually love avocado (I suppose it was far from fresh), and one of the eggs was overdone with a hard yoke. Should have complained but didn't.

We liked the atmosphere in this relatively small cafe in the student district of Belfast. Staff were friendly and helpful, the vegetable soup was good, served with two generous slices of wheaten bread. The soup could however have been served just a little warmer.

Club sandwich’s bread was stale and lacking mayo. Service was slow. Used to be a favourite. Has gone downhill with each order.

*Rude service and embarrassing* Student at university, down the road from this cafe. Went here early morning time (last October) before a lecture. Asked for a tea, but the two male baristas were very rude to me and pretty much grunted when I asked for my order. Immediately felt like a burden being there. They even got my order wrong and did not apologise. The whole experience was very embarrassing as other customers were watching. It is a shame because I’m sure that not everyone working in the cafe is like that, but even at that, i haven’t been and won’t be back :(

Love this coffee shop been coming a long time. Coffee ☕best in Belfast! Just one issue though...one of the young waiting staff has very long hair which is not tied back... possibly falling into food n drinks while serving. Not very hygienic I'm afraid. Still luv the place

The place has a nice environment and friendly staff! Bought a berry milkshake and carrot cake. It was definitely worth the price and a good combination. The carrot cake was on the sweeter side while the the milkshake was slightly less sweeter so it was a perfect combo 👌

Only been in for coffee and traybakes but it's a great spot, malteser slices are amazing.

Staff were very friendly and cafe clean. Good coffee. Bought a jam and coconut German biscuit and was unable to slice through the jam layer was like plastic. As a result the whole biscuit crumbled. Had a lovely green tea with mint after though. Will definitely return.

What a wonderful coffee house, comfortable and a great atmosphere, buzzing! Had a wonderful scrambled egg with smoked salmon on the most fabulously fresh and light wheaten bread. First time here and very impressed.
