Every time I'm in next I go for coffee and a muffin,I feel sorry for the girl she's always on her own.

Staff brilliant but zero gluten free options. Disgraceful in this day and age and was very disappointed

Had a large hot chocolate and caramel square for £4.95 at the bar in Next in Abbeycentre. Kids and I loved it. Great selection and fantastic view

I used to love going here to get my sweet chilli chicken and cheese panini for my lunch but sadly they have stopped making food to order and only heat up what is sitting in a chiller. Would still return for a milkshake in the afternoon but I will find another cafe to go to for lunch when I'm in Belfast as I prefer paying for freshly made food.

Love having Ground in Belfast. Coffee really good and an amazing selection of buns and traybakes. Nutella cake is the best !!!

Ground is very conveniently situated in Next which is in the heart of shopping in Belfast. I was disappointed with my previous visit as the oven had broken and they were unable to heat my ciabbatta. I preferred the freshly made sandwiches that they used to offer. Now it is pre packaged sandwiches, ciabbattas, toasties etc. Whilst my sandwich was nice, it wasn't what I wanted. I've always loved the tray bakes in ground and will continue to visit for these as they are good value for money and tasty.

We visited this cafe when in Belfast recently. Staff are very friendly and the coffee is great. They have a great range of home-baked, fresh cakes on offer every day. It's a great place for a break when shopping in Belfast.

I had an average tasting coffee and a dry Nutella Cake in this place a few days ago. However had I ventured into the washroom first I would have turned and left immediately! There were 3 self contained washrooms with one out of order. In the one I went into, the hand drier was broken, the large bin was overflowing, the toilet was soiled and the sink hadn't seen cleaning detergent in a very long time! Literally a thick grimy film all over the basin with soap caked to it in places. Disgusting is the only way I could describe it. I spoke to the young male waiter who appeared to double up as cleaner and voiced my concerns. He promptly went in to clean it out with paper towels and no rubber gloves. Couldn't help wondering if he washed his hands afterwards. Will definitely not be back!!!

Stopped in here during Christmas shopping as we had been here before. Last time it was slow but ok. This time the place was a complete mess. Yes, it was busy but tables were uncleared and service was very slow. There seemed to be too many people behind the counter and all service is dictated by the speed of the slow coffee machine. Fine, that's what the place is about. But they should have taken one or two people out to clear up the mess on the tables. While I was in the queue I saw one couple sit down at a table full of dirty cups and plates and those remained throughout my time there. They eventually left and another couple sat down to even more dishes which still weren't cleared away. There were two young lads who did seem to clear some tables but they were bored and it was very random and slow. Most annoying thing was at the start of the counter a girl took our order and which cakes etc we wanted. Put those on plates behind the counter to be picked up when we got coffee. By the time we get there we found out those cakes had been served to other people and they were now sold out! We heard this happened to several other people. Why bother asking us then give them away to other people? Food and coffee is good when you get it. IF you get it.

Met a friend for coffee in Ground Espresso, Next, Belfast as our usual choice in Waterstones was being renovated. Situated on the top floor it is a bright, airy café. Service was good and the coffee as in all Ground Espresso bars excellent. We were tempted to sample a couple of tray bakes too. Free wifi also made for an easy business meeting. Another good experience.

Not what it used to be, presume it’s been taken over by some generic. Shame, was my favourite pub back in the 2000s

Great service, great food. Its all good. Whenever we turn up there is always a queue, sometimes that extends as far as outside the door. The staff are brilliant though at turning around the tables. As soon as someone has paid their bill and leaving the tables are cleared and set up for the next set of customers. Once sat and you've chosen your food, you will not be disappointed, I'd always recommended the General whether you're there for breakfast, brunch or lunch.

I have been twice to the hotel and resturant and whilst the hotel itself is really good the restaurant needs some change. The wait times for food after ordering is too long and to be honest the food has disappointed on both occasions. There were very small numbers in the restaurant on both occasions and few staff. Saying that the employees in the restaurant were really nice and helpful.

Went here for dinner, the restaurant was only half full, after 30 minutes only our drink orders had been taken. We had to ask staff could we order food which took another 40 minutes to arrive. The food was lovely when it did come but I go here again unless I had hours to spare
