Really nice coffee shop. Lovely friendly staff. Coffee tasted very good. Food looked good. Can't ask for much more. Would recommend.

Just started coming to this place for my lunch hour regularly. Why did I wait?! For starters the food is lush, the sausage and egg muffin (McWhoneedsthem?!?) is gorgeous as is the vegetarian version. The salted brownie is a thing of legend. But (almost more importantly) this place is run by people (with excellent music taste, too). People that are friendly, personable and act like humans. This is what almost all coffee shops in Belfast were like when I moved here in 2002 (the likes of Vincent's on Botanic, Cafe Conor, and of course Clements). Then the uber-chains came along and destroyed them all. I hope Ground continues to thrive, doesnt try and reinvent the wheel, just keeps on doing what it does best!!

This is a place where locals work and study. There’s self serve tap water and nice staff. I recommend the ham and cheese croissant, but could be improved by some fresh lettuce instead of the old bagged salad which gets rusty and limp too quickly. A fresh lettuce leaf would have the same effect on the plate, would be easier to keep washed and ready in a cup of cool water near the prep station, and might be a cheaper option too! The coffee is immaculate.

I ordered a caramel flavoured hot chocolate and it was gorgeous; tasted like Cadbury's caramel bar and was smooth and creamy in the mouth. Definitely nicer than premium brands like Caffé Nero and Costa. The woman serving me was lovely.

Great spot for a coffee while in town. The coffee at Ground tastes great IMO, and is beautifully presented. This location is quite small, but has a cosy atmosphere. The music was a little too loud, and you can use the free WiFi. There is an accessible toilet at the back of the cafe.

Great staff, nice location and a brilliant selection of coffee and tea.. Belfast Tea here was excellent. Good for catching up with work and recharging yourself as well as your device.

Quite quiet which was lovely. A nice mixture of customers. Staff were lovely and friendly. Free tap water with glasses available which is fantastic. We ordered a double espresso, an americano, a chilli chicken sourdough and a caramel slice. Everything was fantastic. The espresso was tasty and smooth. The sandwich was delicious and the caramel slice was yummy. Would recommend.

Lovely coffee with milk alternatives!

Ordered a coffee and hot food paid plus left a tip the girl with the long blonde hair said take a seat and someone will bring it over. The girl in the glasses with dark hair acknowledged me saying it shouldn't be too long. She forgot all about my order and served other customers behind me their hot food. I produced my receipt and was refused my money back. Very poor customer service.

I love how smooth the coffee is here. A little more expensive than most places in the same area, but for me the coffee makes up for that. The staff are kind and helpful and the chairs are comfy if you get the right ones! The other's aren't bad, but the aren't as comfy. And I do like to snuggle in with a latte.

Great food served by friendly staff

Excellent spot. I go most days at lunchtime to read and it's a relaxing atmosphere. One of the best, if not the best, filter brews of good coffee in the city centre - surprising. Plenty of great food on offer, which is all very reasonably priced. Lovely staff who are always really friendly. Efficient at clearing tables, so you never need to clear your own table (like at other cafés). Very handy location, near to everything you could want at lunchtime. Highly recommended!

Really nice place in the center of Belfast.

Treat yourself with a chemex. I normally drink a flat white, but with this method I drink it black. Really good coffee. Don't bother with food. Usual chain store toasties and prepacked sandwiches, not good.

I don't know if this is the BEST salted caramel brownie, because I haven't eaten many at all but it was good, and the setting is clean and welcoming.

The shop is surrounded by a huge Costa and Starbuck's but it's the best in Belfast.

Ifi you want to go for a coffee ☕ or something to eat I highly recommend you call here. Some great playlist on background not to loud music can be anything from Alison Krauss to led zeppelin. There's such a great atmosphere great place

Staff gave me a patronising look when i told her 10 seconds later it's actually for taking away instead of sitting in - she never asked though. Don't think I ever come across a coffee shop experience any worse than this. Hope she's just having a bad day.

The coffee served is very professional: it's been roasted within a month of being grounded and brewed unlike many other chains that just seek to make a quick buck. Ethical as well ensuring fair trade occurs from crop to customer.

Staff are always very friendly and helpful. All the hot drinks are delicious. Milkshake also good. Vibe is relaxed.

Called in at 2o'clock on Sunday for lunch for four, were second in queue but waited 10-15 mins to get served, there was 2 staff, with one serving and one working on laptop, when we were finally served, they had one bacon roll left, and no chocolate for milkshake, second member of staff then got up to help with drinks, who wasn't very helpful, not a good start to Christmas shopping.

A baby-friendly shop with very helpful staff. Coffee is very nice. A good selection of snacks, treats and hot & cold sandwiches offered. Relaxing atmosphere with chilled music and very clean. I would definitely come back here.
