My twin brother Stephen and I were on our way to The Raven Pub to meet friends to celebrate a birthday and dropped into a few pubs on the way ,a new pub for me was The Avenue Lounge and I must say it was pretty good. The pub itself has a nice look ,a cool looking serving bar ,lovely decor and furnishings and lots of seating options both inside and outside ,it's a nice pub to chill out in. We were here on a Thursday afternoon ,pub was busy with a nice vibe ,we ordered and were served beers from Carling Brewery ,served iced cold and sparkling ,we kicked back ,chilled out and took in the lovely pub we were in. Not my normal tipple ,more a real ale or craft beer fan myself but this beer was tasty ,freezing cold ,thirst quenching ,just so easy to drink ,a really tasty lager style beer indeed. We both really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and for a first time visit to here we had a great time. The Avenue Lounge is easy to locate along Longmoor Lane. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, open from midday. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Really love to visit this place and have done since it opened last year, not just for my vaping needs but for the best iced coffees around, at incredible prices. staff are very knowledgable in all areas be it vaping or coffee!

My twin brother Stephen and I had just been to The Shakespeares Pub and directly facing this pub across the road was Bar Stewards . This is a really good bar ,the interior is cozy, lovely decor and furnishings, a sold wood serving bar dominates and the main room and despite its relatively small size there's plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar both inside and outside in their courtyard, this is were we chose to sit on a roasting hot Monday afternoon. We were greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of the bar team, we had a study of their real ale's and we both opted to have Abbeydale Brewery heathen APA ,these were served in excellent condition, we took our ales outside were we just kicked back, chilled out and soaked up the sun while sipping our ales . My ale was really good, a crisp, well balanced ale ,a big hit of hops, hints of toffee and a delicious aroma and aftertaste with a slight bitter finish,it was just so good being in such a lovely bar enjoying a quality brew . We really enjoyed our ale's in here, only stayed for the one each before moving on and for a first time visit to Bar Stewards we had a great time. Bar Stewards is easy to locate along Gibraltar Street. Opening hours are; Monday to Thursday, Open from 5pm. Friday, Open from 4pm. Saturday Open from Midday. Sunday, Open from 2pm. Well worth checking out if you're in the area

Great atmosphere, great people. The live bands we went to see were great and really kicked off a good night out in Leicester. The beer taps had good variation and the spirits left nothing to be desired.

Cocktail making lessons on a Saturday afternoon with the bartender. A must-do when in the Southampton area. Pictured: The Bunker Buster - house cocktail.

Amazing salad boxes and flat breads including feta and red pepper with a balsamic glaze and salad. Beautiful homemade cakes and fab breakfasts to take away

Go with a big appetite. Such tasty sausage rolls and local cider or apple juice, all served with a smile - thank you Suzie. Not only sausage rolls though, try the mega breakfast baps and veggie options. You will not leave disappointed, or hungry.

We found this little bakery after lunch in Padstow and were delighted! They had a huge variety of shakes and other drinks on offer as well as an awesome looking cake display (we were too full to sample them!) Gutted we don't live closer or this would be a regular spot for us to visit!

Charming spot for a quiet lunch. Food was lovely and a good, fresh choice. Very sweet seating area at the back. Would recommend for a cake and tea too.

Very disappointing pie. I visited the deli today and was excited to purchase a goats cheese and beetroot pie. I was shocked that it cost £8, but thought it must be good. Unfortunately it didn’t live up to the price tag. Too much pastry, huge chunks of beetroot and very little goats cheese. It went in the bin

a lovley chilled out and relaxed place to go, either on your own or with kids, loads of refreshments to choose from, teas, coffees, iced drinks and smoothies, also a good food menu for adults and kids all freshly made on the premises, everybody is made welcome, wifi is available plus they have a book corner.

The Falcon Pub is a pub I occasionally drop into ,it's a great locals pub. I love the look of the pub ,multi roomed ,pubby decor and furnishings ,a cool looking serving bar ,big screens to enjoy the sport ,dart boards and pool table and lots of seating options ,it's a great pub to chill out in. We were here on a Friday evening ,we ordered and were served beers from Carling Brewery ,served iced cold and sparkling ,we chilled out and took in the great pub we were in. My beer was good, not my normal tipple ,more a real ale or craft beer fan myself but this lager was tasty and certainly cut through the thirst . We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to here we had a great time. The Falcon Pub is easy to locate along Bewley Drive ,the number 21 bus drops you off practically by the pub. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, open from 5pm ( I think ). Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

This is the Hornsea Inshore Rescue Boat Launch Cafe and Shop where we stopped on our walk for great coffee and cake. We live in Hornsea and have been here many times. It is unfailingly spotless, as are the loos - always a good sign - and the welcome is friendly. You can sit outside under a canopy out of the wind and eat your lunch while watching the activity around the boats. This out-of-the-way jewel is run entirely by volunteers and supports the work of the independent lifeboat. On our most recent visit we were served coffee by one of the crew who had two weeks before taken part in a hazardous and fortunately successful rescue from the nearby cliffs.

This was our first visit on a beautiful spring Sunday lunchtime. I had seen the menu on Facebook and I wanted to try the lasagne. Staff were friendly and service prompt. The food portions were not massive but fine and more importantly the food was well cooked and of quality. Will return.
