Nice little place , lovely atmosphere, very cosy like. Good teas and nice coffee, very friendly staff and good service.

Have you ever seen The Simpsons? Have you seen that episode where Homer Simpson is interviewed by his new German bosses when Monty Burns sold the nuclear power plant? They told him that they come from the land of chocolate and you can see Homer daydreaming about the land of chocolate! That is exactly how I feel every time I go into this wonderful bakery. I am truly in the land of chocolate and I could spend all day there being in chocolate heaven! This place is chocoholic’s dream. My favourite is the double chalk brownie. The moment you bite it, you get an incredible chocolate rush and trust me you are in chocolate heaven. If I had the time, I would go there every single day to get a double choc brownie but once a week I treat myself to a double choc brownie. I also go there every time I hit a sales target. Usual questions are they worth the money? I would say good value at five times the price. Would I go there again? Of course, if I had the time I’d go there every day. Would I recommend them to anyone else? Yes, absolutely What would I advise the public? I would say if you like chocolate as much as I do get yourself down there!

Had a large BEST this morning, and was absolutely delicious quality ingredients. Two young girls serving were really friendly. Hidden gem at Crosspool.

Not what I would call a kitchen. Pokey hole someone thought they could do fancy food. Would not recommend 😕

Lovely pub with that" want to stay for another " effect

Popped in for a chill, do a crossword and get a coffee and cake. Nice menu if I had been looking for more than coffee and cake. Had a mocha and lemon cheesecake. The cake was delicious with a very nice tang of lemon. Mocha nice and chocolatey. Oh the prices were very reasonable too 👍. Weather had picked up so I sat in the courtyard. Excellent choice as it was sheltered and warm enough to be comfortable. Well looked after by all of the front of house team 🙂. Very peaceful and relaxed. Thank you.

They love coffee, it's much more than a job it's their passion. If you want the best coffee go there.

Came for carvery, wish we hadn't bothered. Carvery looked like it had be sat there for hour's. Rock hard yorkshire pudding, Luke warm vegetables, almost cold. Had to ask for fresh stuffing and roast potatoes, stuffing still hard and unappealing. Roast potatoes tasted horrible. No wonder place is virtually empty.

Went for dinner and drinks the food was great and the staff were very accommodating. There is always a welcoming atmosphere in the pub and a great vibe all round

Weird experience, went to the till right at the entrance to order coffee and cake to sit down, told to go and wait inside by the till for a "host to show us to a table". I did say "um…only want coffee and cake" but was told to wait there. Which we did. For ages. Nobody came so I stopped a staff member as she was walking past. She told us to go back to the till and order there which we had tried to do in the first place….so we did. Was told we had to sit in the takeaway area outside, even though there was a barrier dividing us from the nicer, bigger space alongside where people were having coffee and cake in cups and saucers……so we did. Took ages for the coffee to arrive - in paper cups - which is fine though not entirely clear why. We waited and waited for our cakes, in the end gave up and drunk our by then cold coffee. At least another five minutes before the cakes arrived in a box, and we had drunk our coffee. I’m not sure what went wrong here but was totally confusing, staff not clear and I don’t quite understand how they organise it. Trying to be fair here, and there might be a system but not clear at all what it was. I know it was newly opened but the staff seemed clueless. Won’t be going again sorry.
