A lovely little place with very reasonable prices and very friendly staff. Plenty of seats as well as takeaway options. Ideal for a quick stop off or a longer, more relaxed cuppa. Lovely coffee and a good choice of buns/snacks if you’re a little peckish. One of the best coffee shops in the city when considering price, service and taste.

Called in today and have to say really impressed. Not your arty farty food I keep seeing at other places, but good staples and very nice. Price point was really good. Staff lovely. Best toastie we have had in a long while with a good filling. Some you get are virtually empty. The tea was excellent also. Lovely Easter cake and we are seriously full. Nice cafe friendly staff and not pretentious. Good prices.

Este es el mejor lugar para tomar café en Crosspool por una milla campestre. Gestión muy amigable y un ambiente acogedor para relajarse chatear o incluso trabajar.

Lovely fresh food, friendly owner, welcoming to all. At one table 4 ladies played a numbers game together after their lunch - all in the mature stage of life, whilst at other tables a young mother played with her child. 2 local police officers popped in for a chat . All good.

Really lovely cafe and great staff. They put board games on the tables which is a great addition and makes each visit really fun. Decent prices and delicious toasties which I would recommend! Will be back soon!

Neighbourhood cafe. Nice welcome and chat with the chap behind the counter. Good coffee and service. Clean environment. Couldn’t give higher stars though as I went in for something GF for breakfast and there was nothing for me so I left hungry. Chap said there’s normally some GF cake which would have done me ok but there wasn’t this time. Would return again but not expecting food and if there happened to be cake for me then I’d go for that too!

We home here regularly, the service is always good and the staff are very friendly. Snacks are reasonably priced, good filled sandwiches and excellent soup. The coffee is probably the best in town.

I came here last week when my baby was just 5 days old. The man behind the counter - I think owner, was really lovely chatting away to us while we were there. There was a good selection of food, we had some yummy cake and a milkshake. If you are into your teas then this is the place, I couldn't tell you how many different types !! Well worth a visit, it's nice to have a cafe in crosspool as for many years we didn't have one.

A gem of a cafe in our Crosspool village, good coffee my daughter says & she is particular about her coffee. I chose tea & they have a good selection of teas there sometimes I have a cup or if I'm thirsty a pot of delicious tea, sometimes we have soup of the day which is piping hot with bread from the local baker. One of my favourites is a toasted tea cake with butter also locally baked. This cafe is a delight & the atmosphere is warm & friendly. They serve bacon butties, various snacks, homemade cakes are a delight. My daughter & I meet up there to catch up on our week although I only live about 10 minutes away from Crosspool it's a treat my daughter lives in the other direction so it's ideal for us. The gentleman who owns & cooks there makes the visit to the cafe a pleasure to be there.

i live in the area but had not yet been in so it was a quiet saturday afternoon and i fancied treating myself to a bit of cake while working. I was able ti get a whole table to spread out. Order at bar and he brought to the table. Large latte was very nice. Carrot cake was ok with good texture but tasted not quite how i'd expect. We all had to leave at 2pm as the guy running it had to go to another job. Some lost business .. On a fine saturday they need to be open all day. My daughter says her friends go there a lot and it was a friendly atmosphere.

Have visited this little hub of crosspool on a number of occasions with my mother in the past few months. We have always had excellent service and have been made to feel very welcome. The coffee is from a local Sheffield roasters and is superb. This lovely little cafe is well worth a visit if you are in Crosspool

We called into Nest halfway through a journey based on the previous reviews and it was just what we were after. There is just a small selection of food - some breakfast things, toasties and paninis all at very reasonable prices. We had toasted sandwiches and they were really tasty. There is an excellent range of Teapigs tea and lovely coffee. Soya milk available too. Great art on the wall and a very friendly owner!

This is a great, friendly cafe in the heart of Crosspool. It's nice to have a cafe near the shops. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and my, well behaved, labrador was allowed in with me. She was promptly given a bowl of water....

Enjoy a variety of coffee, speciality tea, lovely cakes, quite cosy inside due to lack of space. Perhaps about 6 tables. Baby friendly. Staff most friendly.

Tigs was a last minute discovery when I was in Sheffield Centre waiting for a train. Just behind the Cathedral, Tigs offered a friendly welcome, excellent coffee and perfect bagels. The cakes looked good too and there were plentiful vegan options. The helpings were good value, with generous portions and interesting toppings.

We visited this lovely cafe this morning while waiting for an appointment at the hospital, which is just across the road. The staff were very welcoming as soon as we arrived. We ordered a Latte, a Mocha and Cinnamon Swirl and they were all delicious. We normally head for one of the large chains of coffee shops, so it made a nice change to be supporting a small business. We are not local to Sheffield but will definitely visit the cafe when we're there for future hospital appointments. We would highly recommend to anyone local to or visiting Sheffield.

Wow what an incredible brunch. I wasn’t expecting too much but boy do they toast well. I thought how could it be different to what I make at home but I was so wrong. The best brunch experience I’ve ever had!

Best sandwich and coffee I've ever had, had large bacon and egg and coffee and it was absolutely lovely! Only wished I lived in Sheffield so I could eat there everyday.
