Great hidden gem in Sheffield, quirky shop with a peaceful temple upstairs... Garden cafe is available at very reasonable prices

Nowhere else quite like it! Airy Fairy is such a special place, a wonderful gift shop selling unusual gifts, books, cards, magical supplies, and a variety of work from local artists. The staff are lovely and you get the sense you’re accessing a community all of its own, which if you spend a little time there soon realise you are. The food, the garden, the overheard conversations, the events, the network, and of course the cake! All made locally by the Airy Fairy family - what more could you ask for? An absolute gem of the Sheffield scene.

This really is quite a special place, where it's easy to spend a bit of time relaxing and enjoying a coffee and a delicious homemade cake, or a full meal. The café is a little bit hidden away at the back of the Airy Fairy shop, but it's well worth getting to know it. In addition to the sit-down indoors area (wonderfully heated by a lovely log burner on cooler days), there is also quite plentiful seating outside in the wonderful 'secret garden' outside, complete with fruit trees, and a covered seating area if required, plus helpful and attentive serving staff. Can't recommend it enough really 👍

Had a lovely relaxing time catching up with a bit of admin in the Airy Fairy garden. It's such a tranquil space. Beautiful.

First visit to the shop and I will make sure to be coming back. Asked for help from a staff member who was really insightful and helpful, had good knowledge and gave us as much time as we needed to make decisions about trying something new. Hugely recommend

A lovely little crystal shop with a great selection of stones, jewelry, spheres, and other spiritual things, as well as a cute cafe with nice food and drink available. The employees are wonderful, I went in to buy a valentine's gift for my girlfriend and was asked if I needed any help, I gave my criteria and a price range and was pointed to several items that worked brilliantly for me and my girlfriend. Highly recommend as a place to visit if you are interested in crystals or just like a nice vibe to have a slice of cake and a cup of tea.

I love this place! When I saw it on Google maps I thought that it will be a usual shop with crystals and some old stuff. But this shop is amazing! There are a lot of spiritual and magical supplies amazing atmosphere and a cute cafe! I will definitely come again

A really interesting and unusual gift/bookshop also has a beautiful secret garden where you can enjoy coffee and homemade cake. The Bakewell is absolutely divine.

Excellent vegan and vegetarian food in in the café, plus wide range of crystals and gifts. Also liked the Goddess Temple upstairs (Monday-Saturday 12:30 to 13-30). Edit (June 2022): four years and one pandemic on, and it's great to see that Airy Fairy is even more splendid as time goes by. Having the café in the garden now makes more space for the expanded range of crystals, tarot cards, books, candles etc. and so many other gifts; there really is a huge range there now, and all very pleasantly laid out and easy to browse through. Staff are helpful and friendly as ever :-)

I count Airy Fairy as one of my true Safe Places. Having been a regular patron for a number of years, I've seen the place shift and grow in size and popularity. Nestled in amongst the take aways and pubs that fill up the majority of London Road, it truly is like walking into a magical realm. Don't let the size of the place deceive you, they have everything you could need whether you're looking for Altar items, crystals, books, tarot, artwork, magical home decor and stunning jewellery. They also support local artists and give them space to exhibit and sell their pieces. The temple upstairs is open daily for contemplation and is the most calming of spaces. Oh and the cafe! I could leave an entire review on that alone. I used to come down my lunchbreaks at work, just to sit by the fire and have a cup of chai and a toasted bagel while I read some of the wonderful poems written by other customers. There's so much knowledge and wisdom within the staff that work there, always willing to help and offer advice and guidance if you need it. Airy fairy has been around for a long time, and as an independently owned shop, that is a testament to the great service and quality thar they provide. Long life the Fairy ❤️🙏🏻

Anwen runs a delightful little establishment full of quirky and charming items of little or no practical use. If you need a gift that does nothing but show someone you care, this is a good place to look.

I recently ordered 3 CDs (Music For Healing by Richard Norris) that are very scarce and very expensive if you do find them online - Airy Fairy had them in stock at an amazing price, posted them to me very quickly and with a lovely note from Ruby and some free incense sticks. What a lovely experience, and great shop, thankyou! 😊

Absolutely love airy fairy wonderful little hippie shop situated on London Road. Wonderful smells of incense greet you as you stroll in to a beautiful shop filled with jewellery, handmade cards, art work, candles, gem stones, crystals & a lot more. They also have a cafe! Which has many vegan and gluten free options. (i believe it could be all vegan).

The staff here are so sweet and the prices on some of the items are amazing! I got one for 35p earlier 🥰 Although some are quite pricey, such as the jewellery but nobody can expect top quality to be cheap! My absolute favourite crystal shop I come here with my friends whenever I get the opportunity. Definitely reccomend ❤

Really unique little shop, much bigger inside than it looks from the out. Lots of boutique items such as gems/stones, incense, essential oils, even fresh food. Have some ginger parkin in the garden before it gets too chilly. Super friendly staff as well.

I'm a wizard and this is where I shop for my incense. They are bang crazy but hippies will find an intimate little shop full of delights.

Beautiful place to visit the staff are so helpful and friendly. Amazing home made food always fresh and presented beautifully. Lots of courses and works that you can join in. Also is the home of the goddesses temple always presented and dressed for the yearly celebrations. The garden is magical you can relax and meet friends. Lots of hand created gifts made by local crafts people. Magical items candles Tarot Card and much more. Truly a pleasure to visit it is definitely an oasis of wounder.

Airy Fairy is my favourite place to visit in Sheffield. It is so unique and relaxing. I love to browse around the shop - a lot being one off pieces too so making it even more special to purchase items. I adore the coffee shop. The food is wholesome, sourced locally with scrumptious homebakes and a great selection of drinks. The garden is magical and I love how it has been designed for wildlife to visit. I have visited many times and if I lived more local I would love to engage more In events that are held at Airy Fairy. Staff are so friendly and knowledgeable about everything they sell. Nothing is too much trouble and they are all so helpful. I particularly like the bookshelf as there are so many books to chose from. Airy Fairy is so much more than a shop. It is a community based place in Sheffield which people are drawn to because of its uniqueness. I can't wait to return.

Hoy fui ucraniano, sopa de col, que a pesar de sonar un poco aburrida era bastante sabrosa y con el pan casero encantador. Personal amable y con un quemador de leña 'cohete' construido en casa que mantiene el café caliente, ¡siempre es un placer visitar esta tienda por un tiempo! ¡Hasta luego!

My husband and I escaped the hustle & bustle of a Saturday afternoon in the city by paying a visit to this tranquil little gem today. The cute log burner was a welcome addition to the ambiance of the cafe which is set to the rear of this eclectic haven; as was the attention to environmental impact ( fabric napkins & paper straws). The vegetarian & vegan friendly menu offered an array of tempting food & drink at particularly reasonable prices. We enjoyed vegan friendly Mediterranean pasties with salad, coffees & a smoothie. Service was welcoming & friendly. Would highly recommend dropping by.

My friend and I love this place, it's so welcoming and peaceful and the staff are never too busy to talk and help. The cakes are delicious, especially the Guinness fruit cake, and there's a nice big selection of tea. It's also a beautiful shop to browse and not nearly as expensive as similar places.

It's a great place to have a coffee and the people are really friendly. Don't be put off by having to buzz to be let in, it's a great place for a coffee and chat.

I love it here. I feel so nourished when I've eaten here. Gorgeous cheese and pepper tart with side salad is my all time favourite. The cakes are delicious, the homemade Bakewell tart is to die for. The earl grey tea and latte are divine. Next time I plan to have the hot chocolate as it has been recommended to me. The coffee shop part of the shop is so cosy especially in the colder seasons when the log fire is burning. The garden is just idyllic especially in the warmer months. A magical place to visit. One of my favourite places in Sheffield with lovely, friendly, helpful staff.

A regularly place to visit when I am in Sheffield and at that end of the City.
