Marks Bistro is a very unusual find compared to the existing cafes, breakfast places and restaurants in the area. They do really good sized breakfast sandwiches with some really interesting sauces to choose from. The Ploughmans they do is also top notch with tonnes of unusual cheeses. They do really good curry (and also sell their own curry pastes). I have also been in for a sunday roast and was very impressed with the quality for just £10. If you like unusual hot sauces you should check out the shelves as they have the finest collection of unusual hot sauces available.

A great selection to pick from - I went with two meat eaters who were very happy and I was very happy with my veggie choice. Good coffee too. The staff are really friendly and made us feel very at home. I’ll definitely come here again

10/10 If you’ve driven down the A435 towards Redditch you’ve seen the rib-eye steak sandwich sign. Well, a couple of months ago I stopped in to see what it’s all about & Dave made me a ribeye steak and egg sandwich (chili sauce) on crusty bread and it blew me away. Cooked to perfection - they are delicious Ive eaten all over the West Midlands, and would & do happily drive out of my way to eat at Dave’s. You have to give it a go, you’ll kick yourself you never stopped earlier, DELICIOUS. 10/10 Thank you Dave

A hidden gem recommended by a local friend and now this is my favourite cafe in Stratford! The panini's are nutritious as they are delicious, the coffee is supurb and the cakes were made with love, we could tell. Plus the zero waste theme is taken to heart with 'grass' straws (brilliant!) and reusable take away mugs, making us feel extra good about supporting a local business. Would highly recommend to anyone living in or visiting Stratford

A warm, welcoming cafe with a lovely homely feel. My adult ESOL students and I were made to feel so welcome here and the students loved the coffee, the atmosphere, the comfortable seats, the friendly staff and the decor. A hidden gem in the heart of Balsall Heath.

Today I visited this lovely gem of a cafe. Freshly made moussaka as light as air. We had to wait as it was cooking when we arrived very early for lunch. For the three of us eating moussaka and having coffee and teas it cost less than £6 per person. Amazing value for home cooking. Will I go back? Of course I want to try the other items on the menu!

Fantastic mothers day carvery at the queensway pub today . All the food was excellent and fresh ,service by all staff friendly and welcoming . Great selection of meat and vegetables plenty to fill your plate with .A large selection of Desserts to chose from . Thank you Jonathan Buckley and team my mother and I really enjoyed every minute. Visited De La Crem had Somosa Chaat tasted amazing will definetely recommend try these guys out Beautiful settings hopefully after lockdown ends will able to enjoy sitting in.

Had the delight of finding this little gem the other week. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. So far, the food has been excellent heartly recommend the Bacon and egg baguette. Well worth a visit.

Set well back off the road with a car park This place serves a nice pint, friendly staff comfortable seating with tv in the lounge and superb pork sandwiches.
