Loved this little diamond of a coffee shop. Super friendly and polite staff, excellent coffee and delicious home made cakes in a quirky relaxing atmosphere. And it was REALLY cheap!

I always pop in here when visiting my mum. they serve the best coffee in Coventry :) Cakes and cookies are nice too.

I absolutely love this place!! the people, the atmosphere, and especially the coffee! I'm not a regular coffee drinker, but when I do crave a cup, it has to be exceptional, and this place never disappoints. Highly recommend for anyone who appreciates a great coffee experience!

One of the very few coffee shops in Coventry where you would have a good decent cup of specialty coffee!

Flat white to-go was on the small side, however, it is the traditional size. The flavour profile of the coffee makes up for it the slight surprise to my expectations set by other coffee shops.

‏Bean & Leaf Coffee is a café with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are friendly and always greet customers with a smile, making you feel truly valued. They have a nice seating area downstairs, and the restroom is clean and well-maintained. ‏The food is delicious, my faviorte was the cheese bread and blueberry pie, made with real butter, being particular standouts. The V60 coffee has a distinctive flavor, and when you order English tea, they serve it in a generously sized pot. ‏I will definitely be returning to Bean & Leaf Coffee whenever I’m in Coventry. Really disappointed as I came a long journey just to work.

hidden gem! really relax atmosphere. simple but perfect interior with a quirky downstairs area and the coffee is out standing from taste to the aroma filling the room, bean and leaf is above and beyond any other coffee shop I've ever visited

A place for coffee enthusiasts. If you just want some tea and a snack, there are better places. Was a bit disappointed with the lunch options- it’s mostly cakes Uncomfortable metal chairs. Probably fine for healthy young people!

Had a fabulous lunch here (but their breakfast options look pretty tasty). We had some minestrone soup, which bar none, is the best I've EVER eaten! W/ a large slice of sourdough bread. We were suffering from colds but this cleared it out, for good, in a short time. One guy asked how we liked the soup & he said his wife had made it. Lucky man!! I hope to go back for soup, breakfast or tea time pastries, or anything else they want to serve.

We liked the fresh to drink tasty coffee and the homemade types of cakes were quite delicious. We also liked the sandwiches. The service was excellent.

Great independent coffee company in a sea of Starbucks and Costa. Split over two floors including a basement, this is a café for coffee lovers. Some easy listening music in the background at an unobtrusive volume. Price felt a tad high at 3.9 for a pour over but to be fair it was a guest coffee and you are paying for the experience as well as the coffee. There are plenty of plugs for chargers but half the room downstairs was not functioning hence the dropped star. It is hidden away at the moment due to building works but I'm pleased that I put the effort in to find it, I'll definitely be back.

Excellent coffee & wonderful cakes. I also had a sandwich which was bursting with flavor. The space is small there's not a lot of tables. Staff are friendly.

Bit disappointed as the previous bagel selection is longer available, instead to have the sandwiches to replace, but there is no option for it to be toasted :(

Best coffee in Coventry. Delicious espresso with the coffee rotating regularly to give you a wide tasting experience. Cake also excellent. Prices v reasonable. Always stop by whenever I'm in Coventry city centre. Filter coffees also excellent and has the option for pourover too which is a rare plus. Nice atmosphere. Staff always friendly and helpful. Sometimes hard to get a seat but this is to it's credit as it's a reflection of how popular the place is, especially on a Saturday.

Easily the best coffee shop in Coventry - great service, even better coffee and really lovely homemade food/baked goods. It's the only spot that is similar to the nice coffee spots you get in London & Manchester. Only downside is the space and the downstairs not (obviously) having natural light but oh well!

Found this place several years ago by the top reviews, and can tell they are fully deserved. Great service, love these guys who work there, nice cosy atmosphere, amazing coffee, probably one of the best in UK or at least Coventry. Come and try yourself

Visited Coventry July 2022 so this review is a lot from memory found this place online as an independent coffee shop A little difficult to find off of the main shopping area Broken glass door so a little off putting and a little cramped inside hence sitting outside on the street However service was good as coffees were bought out to us

Stopped here for a cappuccino, chai latte and black forest hot chocolate late on Saturday afternoon - cafe was packed but managed to get a table Some seating upstairs, but more seating (and bathrooms) in the basement There is a no laptops on Saturdays policy

I love this quirky little coffee shop. The coffee is miles better than any franchise house. The guys who work there are always happy, cheerful and eager to help. They leave you alone to sit and enjoy your coffee and cake. The food is made daily and is of high quality and the cakes are so moreish. So the next time you decide you want a coffee and a quirky hip place give this place a try you will not be disappointed

Went here to day with my grandaught and my wife the coffee was ok but the shake was chiped and milk was just coco coffee will not go again

The coffee is great but I wish it carried some form of artificial sweetener rather than just having brown sugar. The atmosphere is normally very good but it suffers like most coffee shops nowadays of people deciding that having teams/zoom calls etc with the volume up and not using headphones is fine.

Very good coffee and great atmosphere

Coffee was ok and staff where very nice and helpful. The coffee shop is quite small so can get very noisy which isn’t great for studying but when it’s quiet it’s quite nice. There are plug sockets and wifi available. Saturday they operate a no laptop policy.

The coffee is always great, the staff are friendly and helpful. Service is really quick too. The atmosphere is very pleasant and it’s always very clean, no matter what time of day you go there. Coventry needed a specialty coffee place and this is excellent.

Great coffee and exceptional service tucked in behind NatWest in Coventry. Cakes too, but waistline forbids indulging. Tight space (upstairs, downstairs and outside), but worth waiting your turn.

Honestly love coming to this place, cute little cafe out of the way, the staff are always so sweet and welcoming and beautiful, both the coffee is beautiful and oh my goodness the cakes and sweet treats! Get a bagel early while they're there! So good.

Fabulous little coffee shop, cakes were to die for. Lovely to see an independent cafe in coventry doing so well, it was full the whole time we were there with a constant queue. We will definitely be visiting many times and wish you lots of success in the future.

Lovely coffee, staff are fab. Only criticism; too many people use it as a library, so you could struggle to find a seat. But definitely worth a try.

Brilliant cafe - looks small from outside, but has a downstairs seating area. Really good coffee - we tried the pour over and were glad we did. Kids had chocolate milkshakes which were delicious. If in Coventry again, will definitely be coming here.

Totally UTTERLY delicious toasted sandwich for breakfast. Mine had pastrami, gherkins, cheese, burger sauce and the crispiest yet softest bread! But even better, a really wonderful atmosphere.

Bean and Leaf are a lovely local coffee shop, the staff are always warm and welcoming; the coffee and cakes are amazing. So many vegan options which is a huge bonus for me, and a large part of the reason I visit. The only (very minor) problem is the cafe is small, so it's hard to get a seat inside most of the time! But the intimate size definitely adds to the charm and cosy atmosphere. I always recommend Bean and Leaf to other coffee lovers, and frequently take friends and family with me when I visit.

There’s no words to describe this place. It is impossible to decide what is better: the place, the coffee, the pastries or the staff. If you suffer for anxiety and want to find a place that will instantly make you fell better in Coventry, this is the right location.

Friendly staff, great selection of cakes, pastries and drinks! One of those coffee shops you can socialise in or study, though it can get quite busy so it's best to get there early for a good spot. I think it's the only coffee shop I know of that offers V60 too - one my partner likes to enjoy.

First visit, been meaning to go here for ages and wish I had sooner! New favourite café. I had a flat white and it was the first coffee I've ever had without sugar/ syrup/ sweetener because it tasted so good it didn't need it - turns out I've just been drinking rubbish coffee! Had it with a very yummy toasted tomato, mozzarella, and pesto bagel. Then I had a pot of a lovely peach and apricot tea with the most amazing cinnamon bun. Nice atmosphere for studying, great playlist (but not too loud) and friendly staff. Lovely decor and vibe too. I thought it was going to be pricey because of the speciality coffee etc but it was so affordable! Much cheaper than Costa etc and sooo much better. 10/10 recommend and can't wait for my next visit...and next cinnamon bun.
