One of the best cafes in Coventry. I like the coffee beans they use, which has a fruity and slightly sour flavor. Cakes are also tasty, not very sweet.

Exceptional coffee! The decaf from blossom slapped and the iced flattie the missus has was a delight!

Best coffee selection in Coventry. If you know good coffee, this is the place to go. They offer a new guest espresso monthly and serve various brewing methods such as a pour over (v60). Staff are friendly and the atmosphere is great! I’ve been multiple times and brought friends who have also enjoyed their experience here. Latte art is always on point 😍

What a great place this is. Lovely people working here, so welcoming. Great coffee and sandwiches, not the usual run of the mill. I will definitely go again.

A bit tricky to find as there are some food stall on the square (at least when I visited in March), just look for the yellow mobile shop and right next to it on the left in the corner. Staff is friendly, the use a La Marzocco coffee machine and their cappuccino is in my opinion one of the best in the UK.

Lovely independent coffee shop in Coventry city centre, first time visiting and won't be the last now I've discovered it! Had the chai latte which was lovely (but after reading the reviews wish I'd tried the coffee - next time!) Also had the chocolate banana loaf which was delicious but maybe a tad on the expensive side? The place is small but cute and full of atmosphere, they have seating downstairs it seemed like also.

Have a real soft spot for Bean & Leaf. The original OG of independent coffee shops in Coventry. The coffee is always super smooth and fantastically drinkable. Ably supported by a great selection of sweet treats and sandwiches. But it’s the atmosphere that makes the place. The 6 core members of the B&L team are always super welcoming and friendly. Even if they have already had to deal with a gazillion customers that day. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing little gem in Cov town! It's places like these which keep Cov alive. Everything from the food to the staff to the café itself was excellent. I really enjoyed the vegan sandwich which was very refreshing, the oat chai was also delicious! The only criticism I can make is the size of the place but that isn't alterable. I thought the extra seating downstairs was such a unique and cool feature! Would 100% recommend. Isn't too expensive either for such a great experience!

This is one of my most favourite coffee places in Coventry. Really nice laid back atmosphere friendly staff, great coffee & breakfast tea and a nice range of cakes and sandwiches, panini's. I love the vegan sandwiches even though I'm not a vegan.I pop in at least once or twice a week.

My initial review was 5 years ago, and even then it was the best coffee in Coventry. Seriously it is the best coffee you can get, the staff are passionate but consistent and professional and knowledgeable. They sell the best beans if you brew at home and are always on top of the selection, but it’s hard to beat the espresso they make, I’ve tried … they make very very good coffee

Officially THE best coffee house in Coventry!.. This beats my favourite, Tim Hortons! Such welcoming staff and the highlight.. The silkiest flat white I have ever had in my life, the cinnamon loaf rocked too! Will definitely be visiting again ! LOVE xo

Finally, a true specialty coffee in warwickshire, including batch brew or v60 of choice!!! Properly made white coffees with perfect temperature, milk properly frothed! And, they sell some hard-to-find in warwickshire anaerobic processed beans from the shelf. Suggestion: offer some funky bean option for espresso 😍 Great place to work too

A nice café,the small ground floor was nearly full of people on computers working. A very kind gentleman moved downstairs so we could sit at a table with a highchair.

Solo quería un lugar acogedor con un buen ambiente para matar unas horas entre citas y este lugar era perfecto. Pude cargar mi portátil, ya que hay x 2 enchufes en cada mesa. Cuando llegué al mostrador vi unos sándwiches y golosinas horneadas, así que decidí tomar una tarta tostada y pastelera de queso, así como mi americana. Todos eran muy deliciosos, así como a un precio atractivo! La mejor parte para mí, que a menudo se pasa por alto especialmente en las cadenas - fue el personal amable que atendió y dio la bienvenida a cada cliente a través de la puerta con una sonrisa! ‏Bean & Leaf Coffee is a café with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are friendly and always greet customers with a smile, making you feel truly valued. They have a nice seating area downstairs, and the restroom is clean and well-maintained. ‏The food is delicious, my faviorte was the cheese bread and blueberry pie, made with real butter, being particular standouts. The V60 coffee has a distinctive flavor, and when you order English tea, they serve it in a generously sized pot. ‏I will definitely be returning to Bean & Leaf Coffee whenever I’m in Coventry. Flat white to-go was on the small side, however, it is the traditional size. The flavour profile of the coffee makes up for it the slight surprise to my expectations set by other coffee shops.

+ Really good coffee + They were kind enough to do my specific recipe for Ice v60 which I really appreciate + Kind staff - area is really small and currently obstructed by construction - - I was told of no-laptops rule on Saturday but only after I have made my order and sat down. Really disappointed as I came a long journey just to work.

A place for coffee enthusiasts. If you just want some tea and a snack, there are better places. Was a bit disappointed with the lunch options- it’s mostly cakes Uncomfortable metal chairs. Probably fine for healthy young people!

Tuvimos un almuerzo fabuloso aquí (pero sus opciones de desayuno se ven bastante sabrosas). Tomamos un poco de sopa minestrone, que a excepción de ninguno, es el mejor que he comido! con una gran rebanada de pan de masa madre. Estábamos sufriendo de resfriados, pero esto lo aclaró, para siempre, en poco tiempo. Un tipo preguntó cómo nos gustó la sopa y dijo que su esposa la había hecho. ¡Qué suerte! Espero volver a por sopa, desayuno o pasteles a la hora del té, o cualquier otra cosa que quieran servir.

We liked the fresh to drink tasty coffee and the homemade types of cakes were quite delicious. We also liked the sandwiches. The service was excellent.

Great independent coffee company in a sea of Starbucks and Costa. Split over two floors including a basement, this is a café for coffee lovers. Some easy listening music in the background at an unobtrusive volume. Price felt a tad high at 3.9 for a pour over but to be fair it was a guest coffee and you are paying for the experience as well as the coffee. There are plenty of plugs for chargers but half the room downstairs was not functioning hence the dropped star. It is hidden away at the moment due to building works but I'm pleased that I put the effort in to find it, I'll definitely be back.

Best coffee in Coventry. Delicious espresso with the coffee rotating regularly to give you a wide tasting experience. Cake also excellent. Prices v reasonable. Always stop by whenever I'm in Coventry city centre. Filter coffees also excellent and has the option for pourover too which is a rare plus. Nice atmosphere. Staff always friendly and helpful. Sometimes hard to get a seat but this is to it's credit as it's a reflection of how popular the place is, especially on a Saturday.

Easily the best coffee shop in Coventry - great service, even better coffee and really lovely homemade food/baked goods. It's the only spot that is similar to the nice coffee spots you get in London & Manchester. Only downside is the space and the downstairs not (obviously) having natural light but oh well!

Visited Coventry July 2022 so this review is a lot from memory found this place online as an independent coffee shop A little difficult to find off of the main shopping area Broken glass door so a little off putting and a little cramped inside hence sitting outside on the street However service was good as coffees were bought out to us

I love this quirky little coffee shop. The coffee is miles better than any franchise house. The guys who work there are always happy, cheerful and eager to help. They leave you alone to sit and enjoy your coffee and cake. The food is made daily and is of high quality and the cakes are so moreish. So the next time you decide you want a coffee and a quirky hip place give this place a try you will not be disappointed
