The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Torbay South West

Mostly a locals bar as that's their mainstay, but catering for tourists also as it's next to the car park and bus terminal. Nice atmosphere, decor and a decent pint.

What an absolute joke. No hot food no sandwiches no chocolate for the cappuccino!!!! Wtf. I will never go there again as this isn't the firsttime. Fire the manager! One guy here is working his butt off ... ridiculous.

They wasn't able to do a sausage and egg bap because they ain't allowed to put more than one item in the bap, I even asked to pay for the extra item but was told that I wasn't allowed either.... Waste of time

I have to say, this was the most interesting coffee stop I’ve experienced. Excusing the 80’s decor, which is quite comical and endearing in a Victorian seaside town, the set-up of this establishment is somewhat unique. On arrival there was no covid secure guidelines in place, no masks being work by staff, no sanitiser on arrival and no one way system. We ordered two cream teas, now, given we are in Devon, famous for fresh produce, pastry and good food, the last thing I expected was a microwaved scone as you watched. The score was supermarket bough, and yes microwaved (in case you didn’t read right first time) and the clotted cream, cheap thaw and serve. Equally the cheap Jam (from Brakes) was not what I expected. Come on, it’s a decent venue, put some effort into what your serve. For £5 tea and scone you could locally buy scones (sold at the bakery down the road) and buy some local cream or jam with provenance from one of the local food markets. Really could make more of an effort. On the plus side the cakes did look like effort had been made but didn’t try.

Food was digisting and inedible My breakfast was swimming in oil I had a puddle in my bacon the food was cold The service was terrible staff that are inpolite waited over 15 min people in the queue was commenting on how inpolite the staff are Tables dirty was not offered a replacement was stood waiting a long time to get a refund Will not go there any more

Food was good and reasonably priced, typical cafe menu and food. What’s sets this apart is the wonderful view from the terrace, we could have spent ages up there watching boats and jet skis in the sunshine

Ordered our meal as a takeaway. We hd the garlic mushrooms for starters, my husband ordered the steak combo and I hd the sizzling chicken. Packaging good, meal ws still hot and food was excellent. Compliments to the chef!!

Total disaster. Waited over 30 mins in queue for cafe. Never seen or experienced such a inefficient cafe. Restaurant half full. When finally arriving to get coffee and scone to be told they have run out of scones at 2pm. Plenty of staff but no one cared about massive queue. Avoid if you want a snack or coffee, unless you have plenty of time. Senior M & S management need to review this disgrace.
