Whilst touring around we stopped here for lunch and so glad we did. A very pleasant cafe, lovely people running it , great food. The first thing you notice is how well kept and clean this place is. Secondly itâs difficult to choose from the varied menu, so many favourites.! So pleased I chose the sausage and mash. Never thought Iâd rave about sausage & mash but it was lovely. Everything is cooked to perfection with high quality ingredients. Well worth a visit. If I lived nearby Iâd be eating there regularly

We booked ahead as we knew it could get busy. We had a Thursday early evening for a few birthday drinks. The service was great, the barman was knowledgeable about the whiskeys and made suitable suggestions. The place is a lovely quirky little place, like a combination between a bookshop and a front room. The drinks were great and the atmosphere was also great. Highly recommended.

This is our goto eatery in Worthing, food always freshly cooked to order and of a very high standard of produce. The macaroni is delicious and their chips amazing. Only issue since the refurb is the removal of table service.

Came here for the first of hopefully many comedy nights, amazing atmosphere, lovely venue (even though it's currently undergoing renovations) and lovely friendly staff. Would highly recommend checking the place out if you're about in Worthing!

I have posted a lot of photos, but I really wanted you to see just how beautiful Orchid House Worthing is. I had been meaning to visit for sometime. Last night, four of us visited for cocktails, sharing boards and wine. What we experienced was out of this world. The ambiance, welcome, styling, dining and drinking were all thoughtful, memorable and deeply satisfying. We were welcomed at the gates and taken through a beautiful zen garden into a very stylish house. We were invited to sit in the dining room or start our evening in the bar. We voted for cocktails in the bar. We were shown to a lovely table adorned with fresh red roses. Cocktails were exceptional, served with spiced cashews (secret recipe) and olives, and a delicious amuse bouche from the kitchen. Three of my party had birthdays, and we felt so at home, thinking nothing of exchanging gifts and opening these at the table. After a lovely time chatting and drinking cocktails and also a delicious French Sauvignon Blanc, we were shown to our table. The dining room is beautiful. Stylish, chic and comfortable. Inspired by eastern philosophy and world travels. Eye catching furniture and artefacts sit proudly against white washed walls and Victorian moulded ceilings. It really is a stunning setting. Words are insufficient in capturing the beauty of that space. Our red wine was opened and poured and then the sharing platters arrived. I canât even begin to describe these. Perhaps âWOW!â will suffice! Look at the photographs! We were blown away. These were generous boards, laden with delight after delight. Homemade jams and breads. The focaccia was out of this world. We were served a warm addition from the kitchen tooâŠa delightful stuffed cabbage. It was incredible. We sat at our table and grazed. Alex and Ashee were perfect hosts. Checking in and chatting. Exemplary hosting and genuine passion for food and wine and the magic of a great dining experience. We were even presented with birthday treats after the meal. An amazing choux bun filled with the most delectable rose-water cream and a gorgeous glass of homemade sloe gin. Our Orchid House experience had come to an end. However, the energy and memories from last night will never end. It really was a momentous occasion. I felt very blessed and grateful to have experienced this gem. We have many glorious places to eat and drink and make merry here in Worthing. Orchid House must be experienced in my opinion. Itâs unique and really rather special.

Ordered some sweet treats from here recently-the biscoff slice and rocky road. The sugar high was worth it! The most incredible biscoff slice imaginable - reminded me of a twix but better! Got a litre bottle of the vegan mayo for a decent price too (ÂŁ3.95) which tasted great. I work in the town and have tried visiting the pantry on a number of occasions but it's never open even though the website says it is-is there a way of knowing this as I'd love to be able to just pop by!?

Shame they have closed the smoking room so no nicotine but good for a hit of caffeine before having a crafty smoke behind the bike shed.

Great landlady and beer at good prices. I called in on Thursday after voting on open mic night, a really good atmosphere. Recommended.

We discovered this little gem whilst working in the area for a short time. It's a cosy and welcoming atmosphere with well thought of features for visitors to the town. There are lots of food options from your expected cafe menu through to the owners Turkish traditional dishes. The drink menu is endless to and it is very accommodating to both vegans and vegetarians. I'm really glad we found Sourdough, and the owner is so welcoming and kind. Hope to visit again soon x
