Great community coffee and cake shop with delicious smoothie. Lovely friendly staff. No lunch food but you're welcome to byo and eat in.

This place offers a promising illusion of decency and quality, but it is a long way off the mark. It is cashing-in on its enviable location beside a lake, but they have no clue about what constitutes decent food, decent service or quality. It is a DIVE! The food is dreadful and the owner is a thug! STAY WELL AWAY!!! We are here recently, it was hideous.. The quality is just awful, and they don’t care. If you raise an issue, the owner comes and gives you a mouthful. He’s not a decent guy, and this is a place best avoided!

I was convinced I had reviewed this fantastic venue, but here's another shout-out: it's definitely worth a visit for the outstanding service & the scrumptious breakfast, complete with a mug of tea & toast. Yum, yum! Additionally, its claim to fame is its role as a backdrop for the Channel 4 ident, featuring a moving robot with a "4" strolling past the building's facade.

Great takeaway breakfast rolls and baguettes.. good coffee.. Really friendly and welcoming staff Well done for continuing through lockdown 3.0.

Its amazing to find an independent coffee shop that not only serves amazing coffee but also delivers with a great loyalty scheme.

Food and service was top draw, ty

Had a meeting in an area behind the bar, but the pub was very busy, ladies darts match, and noisy. Beers were good and service, too, but we could've picked a quieter night.

Delicious food , variety of choices, I had one of the best Nepalese food, only downside is service is bit slow. I will come again 🙏🙏

I visit the Starbucks cafe following my pool session with kids at the Village. The cafe has a great ambience, relaxed atmosphere, often cleanly maintained and provides a great place for unwinding. The staff are friendly, courteous and make great coffee. I would like to express my appreciation for Ramita for the exceptional customer service. I make it a point to visit the cafe whenever I visit the Village.

One of the best pubs I ever been in

This morning, we waited almost an hour for our breakfast, which I understand because the restaurant was very busy. However, when our food finally arrived, literally half of it was missing. I asked the server about it, and she just said that many items were gone because they had run out, then she just walked away. From the large breakfast we ordered, only the beans, hash brown, sausage, and halloumi cheese were on the plate. The eggs, bacon, toast, butter, and the extra items we had ordered (black pudding and mushrooms) were all missing. I took the plates back to the counter and stood there for five minutes before someone finally asked me what the problem was. We were told we would get a refund, but it still hasn’t arrived. I’m understanding, but waiting almost an hour for food and then not getting what I paid for is seriously frustrating.

Nice little place to visit on a night out with music going on.

Nipped in for a quick one, bartender (think she was actually the landlady but unsure) was very informative and friendly.
