Starbucks coffee in Rushmoor

Nice little spot to relax with seats around the foyer by the Village reception area. Quite a small Starbucks with friendly staff. Shame the "hot chocolate" of any size consists of possibly 2-3 microscopic grains of actual cocoa or chocolate! A blatant ripoff which should be the subject of a House of Lords debate. Simply a cup of warm milk with cream so unless you're the local moggie, get something else or a beer at the nearby bars. Worst I've ever had by far.

I visited with my sister, when her tea came, I took it to her, but the abrupt attitude of the person serving in telling the whole cafe area that I hadn't paid was embarrassing. I came back with the tea and paid, waited for my coffee, then went and sat down. We were sitting in full view of the serving area. It made the experience unpleasant, and my sister commented, "What was that all about?" Shame when the person thought I would do a runner with a mug of tea. I'm not sure whether I will go back there....

This is a small Starbuck located on the ground floor of the Village Hotel in Farnborough. It has limited seating in the coofe shop itself, but there is seating near by that can be used to enjoy your Starbucks. All the usual coffee and different combinations and ant offers ate available, and as far as I can tell the cost are no different to other Starbucks in the local area. The coffee served here is as you have come to expect is very good. So if you are at the hotel it's nice to know that you can get your caffeine fix, right on your door sep. The only thing g to be aware of is the opening times as they are different to what you might expect.

I went to Starbucks and Ashley made me the best drink ever! She was super friendly and asked what I liked before making a recommendation. She really listened and adjusted until my drink was perfect. When I got it, it tasted amazing! I've been to a lot of Starbucks, but this was the best ever. Ashley is awesome and really cares about her customers. I give her a 10/10 and highly recommend you visit and ask for her!

The Starbucks team of Elliot and Anastasia were a great advert for the hotel and especially the Starbucks outlet where they work. They were welcoming, engaging and of course made great brews. Always a pleasure at Starbucks in the Village Hotel Farnborough

If you ever happen to visit Village Farnborough, stop by the Starbucks! Maria, Anastasia and Ashleigh will give you a great experience and are an amazing example of customer service done right! Drinks aren’t bad either!! Highly recommend.

Terrible watery americano. Bought 2 americanos to take away and were too hot to taste before on the motorway. When we did taste they were watery and undrinkable, Poor effort Starbucks. £6.90 wasted!!!!

Terrible tasting coffee… staff probable need training or refresher course on how to prepare coffee. £3.45 to pour down the sink..

I have been coming to the Village Hotel in Farnbrough for years and I would like to comment that the Starbucks staff within the hotel (Ashley, Anastasia) are really lovely ladies and always meet and greet with a smile. Great Customer service so thank you I am very grateful.

Ashley and Anastasia were both very welcoming and friendly this morning whilst buying my coffee. Also both girls Ashley and Anastasia were consistent with the ongoing customers. Will return again. A very nice atmosphere and cleanliness is kept pristine always.

great place for a coffee after a workout

Staff were ill prepared. Ordered via the app sat down waited still no drinks checked with staff to find out they had no receipts in their machine. Also no of the ingredients for one of there seasonal high profile sellers..... disappointing. Not very customer focused.

This could be one of the best Starbucks around, but it is let down by slow service and the smell of drains outside. There's plenty of space for a coffee/working inside and seats and tables outside....I come here regularly and rarely come away without a longer wait than the number of customers justify

Maria, Ashley & Michael (who left meanwhile), makes this place very friendly and like a family cafe. The menu is a regular Starbucks si nothing to add about this.

I have been a member of the Village gym on and off since it opened, where they have always had Starbucks. I have always found the staff to be very friendly specifically Michael and his colleague Ashley. I recently tried the new Egg bites, and I ate on my way home, they were so lush, that I rang the Hotel to pass on a message to Michael to say how lovely they were! Michael is always very friendly remembering customers name which is a very important part of customer services. Keep up the good work guys. Tracy

I went the to the village hotel today, to work in the hotel, when I got there I wanted a drink so I ordered an Americano which was made by Ashley. She was very quick and efficient with making my drink and provided a service with a smile. When I was sitting having my drink she provided the same level of professionalism to all the other customers after me. After I finished my drink I thanked Ashley for the drink and her service, she replied, still showing the smile I was greeted with. Overall I had an very enjoyable experience in starbucks due to the amazing customer service of Ashley.

I have a lovely frappuccino in Starbucks today served by Ashley, her customer service was brilliant and polite, I would definitely come back again. I think I love the sound of the pumpkin Cookie looking forward to have one next time.

Michael was an absolute star here!! I came for my hen do a group of 16 of us and he was absolutely fab! Who would of thought just popping in to get a coffee that a member of staff could even make that experience great, he was so lovely and such a laugh too!! We’re See you at the wedding!!

Convenient and fast service. Quite small though so there is not always seating or a large amount of choice. Can get quite busy at certain times but still good enough for me.

Lovely shop, feels spacious with high ceilings. Lots of staff. Raining heavy outside and busy-ish inside. Pretty quick service but where is the passion? Where is the Starbucks ethos? Ok it's Tuesday lunchtime. I kown it's p1ssing with rain but I shouldn't feel like I'm p1ssing off the barista by just being in the shop. Is half a smile's too much to ask? Eye contact? Very disappointing but I'm sure they can easily do better. Will return....... 14th October - had a little return early Monday lunch time. Previous staffing issues seemed to be resolved (on this visit). Two young girls working the store and were both polite and quick. Good customer interaction. Seemed to me to be a normal British Starbucks. RECOMMENDED.

After a much anticipated wait to open, has fast become a regular haunt. Perfect for killing time during school runs (when one child is in after school club). We drive through when the children are with me and I'll eat in if on my own. Have always loved the variety of the Starbucks menu, and for me being dairy intolerant, the choice of milks not just soya. Only poor comment is the speed that they run out of popular items, the Christmas menu hot chocolate ran out only a few weeks in, yet the menu was running for at least 2 months, one slightly disappointed son.

Shame about hotel lobby premium prices.

I visited 4 Apr 2017, 1626 receipt registered time. The lady with the eyeglass was cheerful, she asked me what size of tea i want and i said just the regular size and she hold the mug and then i saw a lipstick mark in the lid, i called her attention and she was surprised. I also called the attention of the supervisor, her name starts with "A" (just for privacy), i requested the conversation to be private, i was not happy as she was slapping me with a voucher straightaway, i told her that customer service is not about slapping your client with vouchers straightaway. Now i think about the cleanliness in Starbucks. I suggested that she needs to maintain the standards because the shop carries the hotel name. The lady in the till handed the sandwich in a brown bag even if she asked me if for dine in or take away and that i replied earlier, "dine in". I ate the sandwich and sipped the tea and i never saw the supervisor called the attention of the staff which prompted me this review.

Starbucks coffee is not my favourite as I find it too bitter as I don't add sweetener or syrups and I take it black. However, the environment this particular outlet is in is convenient and cosy despite being in a busy hotel. Shame they charge a little more than a regular branch!
