I was convinced I had reviewed this fantastic venue, but here's another shout-out: it's definitely worth a visit for the outstanding service & the scrumptious breakfast, complete with a mug of tea & toast. Yum, yum! Additionally, its claim to fame is its role as a backdrop for the Channel 4 ident, featuring a moving robot with a "4" strolling past the building's facade.

First visit, quick service with a smile. Food very good. We had tea, cappuccino, a bacon baguette and a bacon and egg baguette. Recommend for a breakfast if in a hurry, provided you can beat the queue. We were lucky in that one one person in front of us, by the time we got the cappuccino the queue was up to the door.

Great cafe, service, food. I would recommend liver and onions and gravy or the Sunday roast. For many years the coffee has been a bit basic but I don’t know if they have recently opted to go for better coffee than the instant stuff they’ve had forever.

All the meat they serve is the cheapest of quality. I have never ordered one myself but I have seen people order bacon or sausage sandwiches and they are served on that thick Spanish-style bread instead of a traditional sandwich or baguette. I am genuinely surprised they get away with it and have been in business for so long...

We have used this cafe for 6 years, every other year when we are working at the Farnborough Airshow it’s not changed a bit! Nearby to the Airport the staff are friendly and helpful and whatever combination of food you want they will do it for you. Really good prices and quick service so we can get back on site is great. Open 7 days a week - if you want a good breakfast in Farnborough this is the place to come. Parking outside or round the corner at 50p for 1 hour pay and display.

We came here a year ago and it's still every bit as good. Exactly the grab you need to start each day of a trade show at the exhibition centre down the road, where the food is more than twice the price, half the quantity and nowhere near the quality.

The Rushmoor Cafe, is commonly known to us as the Orange Cafe in Farnborough? Probably because the frontage has some kind of orange colouration about it? However it is a fine cafe serving fresh well prepared food quickly, efficiently and at a fare price. They have a large menu and selections, of which you can mix and match. The eating area is wide and open giving a spacious and bright feeling to the place, making the whole experience very pleasant. Will certainly use again!

My son was playing rugby at the Army Barracks and we were desperate for a cuppa and something to eat. Somehow we happened upon this place and to be honest from the outside we weren't expecting much....how wrong we were. For a somewhat small cafe their menu was extensive - sandwiches, jacket potatoes, burgers, omelettes and more with everything being very reasonably priced. Our welcome was warm and friendly. We order a Full Breakfast which came with a Free hot drink and a Ham and Cheese Omelette and Tea. Our food came to the table in under 10 minutes and both meals were hot and tasty and just what we needed. If this was more local to us (Southampton) I would be there every Sunday morning for a Full Cooked Breakfast.Well done guys and keep up the good service.

For years I have frequented the RC and said a kindly hello to Jack and the rest of the crew, Food was a good standard but ultimately this is a greasy spoon specialising in breakfasts, burgers, anything with chips, omelettes etc.Portions were always very good, service quick and efficient and prices mid range. It was always a struggle to get a table on a Saturday.I went in there last saturday expecting my ususal hgh standard brunch. How I was disappointed. The old crew have gone. The new crew have zero customer service. This is probably due to their lack of English.Prices have increased by probably 15-20% Unfortunately standards have fallen 50%, For example the sausage I had recently was almost chipolata size compared to a large size before. My egg was dry and overcooked. All in all I was gutted.Place like the Rushmoor cafe rely on repeat customers and competitive pricing/high standards to make a good living. The new management have totally missed this point. Poor portions, high prices will drive repeat business away. Last Saturday was two thirds empty. People will vote with their feet.In my view, in six months the current management will have gone. In the meantime go elsewhere. Needless to say i will not be going again.

The food is always nice, it's good honest value and the service is fast efficient and friendly. I agree with other reviewers that the sausages are a bit budget but everything else is always really nice. Perhaps they could offer the choice of an upgrade to luxury sausages?I really like the fact that you can order a 'coffee' and not have to say 'Americano' or 'Cappucino' etc. I really like the location too...very cheap and easy parking and lots of shops you won't find in larger towns. OK, so from the outside it looks like a dreadful 70's greasy spoon. But get past that and step inside.Breakfast was huge, thick bacon, proper fried mushrooms, the best bubble and squeak ever and fried egg with a gooey runny yolk. Alright the sausage is the bargain basement variety, but that's as expected. So, what's not to like? For me the downside is the seating as you can't pull the chairs into the table as they're fixed in place but it does allow space for the larger frame, you know who you are.During the week I imagine this place is a hit with local workmen looking for a hearty breakfast or lunch.Prices are reasonable for the size of portion, my breakfast was just over £5 and came with a cup of coffee or tea.All in all enjoyable and definitely somewhere we'll go back to.

What a charming little cafe. This isnot a boutique cafe but a friendly, local cafe that reminds me of my childhood. The 'bacon butty' was perfection; thick fresh bread that soaked up the butter beautifully and the bacon was deliciously crispy and full of flavour without being overdone or greasy. The banana milkshake also hit the the spot, having been made freshly with ice-cream.We were met with friendly, helpful staff with smiles on their faces. Service was easy and nothing was a problem. The room was decorated with posters of spitfires and tanks which gave it a WWII vintage impression which was enhanced by old school foodie favourites on the menu such as bubble and squeak! I a little but wanted there to be old 1940's music playing in the background like Glenn Miller...The benches are basic but the service and quality of the food for the price are of excellent value. You are unlikely to find special dietary or artistically presented meals here, but you will find a cafe that will give you a healthy portion of food to cure a hangover. I came here at half nine on a Monday morning to check out the breakfasts they offer. By ten o clock the place was heaving, a sign of a good local cafe. Rushmoor Cafe is in the North Camp area of Farnborough, you can park outside though you have to pay (it's not expensive). Decor is old school greasy spoon, but it appears very clean. You order and pay at the counter at the same time. The menu is on the wall and is quite extensive for a "greasy spoon". The staff are polite and efficient and get your order out quickly.I paid £5.80 for sausage, egg, bacon, chips, tomato, 2 toast & a cup of tea. The food was very nice, not greasy at all and piping hot. The tea was good, which I think is the mark of a good cafe. The food reminded of the breakfast you get in Poppins, a cafe in Farnborough town centre. If you like the food there you will like it here. All in all, very nice & I will return.

This place offers a promising illusion of decency and quality, but it is a long way off the mark. It is cashing-in on its enviable location beside a lake, but they have no clue about what constitutes decent food, decent service or quality. It is a DIVE! The food is dreadful and the owner is a thug! STAY WELL AWAY!!! We are here recently, it was hideous.. The quality is just awful, and they don’t care. If you raise an issue, the owner comes and gives you a mouthful. He’s not a decent guy, and this is a place best avoided!

I'm the worst person to leave a review on a pub, being tee total. Oh! And a vegetarian!...So please forgive my perspective. I love this place and the way I am always welcomed here. There is always a warm family welcome and I can't ask more than that. If you're looking for a bistro pub...Look elsewhere. This pub is the heartbeat of this community and it's menu reflects that. The food is good with plentiful portions. Long may this pub continue to be current and a success in this area.
