My go-to brunch place in Oxford. The truffle ketchup is the stuff dreams are made of. Quality can be slightly variable, but never bad. Expect slow service, but lovely wait staff. Lovely atmosphere, even when it's quiet - and of a weekend, it's rarely quiet.

The lady who was preparing the waffles has touched a customer’s dog and then DID NOT wash her hands and started cooking waffles. I was disgusted. Also she confused the ice cream flavors that I chose and gave me the different one. The place itself does not look clean and the food is not very good.

Fantastic old (probably haunted) pub in the centre of Oxford. Great staff with a friendly atmosphere.

Pre-theatre dinner. The place was buzzing at 530pm on a Friday night with no spare tables - lucky we had booked. The service was fast and efficient but not rushed. We had super mocktails and then pizza and salad which was freshly cooked and tasty. Definitely be back.
