We stopped in here for lunch after church today. Plenty of good sandwich options to choose from. Our children picked a croissant and a sausage roll. The sausage roll was a new take on a pretty standard cafe staple; it was actual sausage in nice crisp, buttery pastry. I had a Turkish Ciabatta which was jam packed with fresh ingredients and flavour. The capsicum was lovely, plenty of thick mozzarella slices and spicy Turkish sausage. Warm and toasted this was delicious. My wife had a vege wrap which was also excellent. The vegetables still had plenty of fresh firm feel and were overlooked or subjected to long weeks in a refrigerator. Lots of hummus and a fresh wrap. A great lunch out.

It was a nippy afternoon today. I was famished and wanted to get into a warm place to grab lunch. Enter QL !! I had the best Ciabatta Sandwich of my life- laced with fresh hummus and grilled vegetables - served with chips on the side. The bread was fresh and the sanwhich tasted out of this world - especially with the steaming mint tea to wash it down my throat. Sitting on a corner table and watching the city go by through the restaurant window made it even more memorable. A great place by all means ! Has options for Veg and Vegans too.

We only fancied Paninis, so stopped here as it had a table by the window (great for people watching) - food was nice, hot & fresh, but not a lot of filling inside the panini, a shame & the main reason for the average rating.

A small coffee shop serving a selection of teas and coffees, cakes, and light meals. We went for the coffe/tea and scone options. Friendly staff and good service. Unfortuantely we could smell the fat from the fryers, which made the experience not very enjoyable.

We stopped here to grab a bite to eat before our walking tour started. Kids ordered sandwiches and I had a coffee and a gluten free scone. Staff was really friendly and prepared the sandwiches quickly. Place was clean and coffee was good as well.

My wife and I visited this cafe for afternoon tea yesterday and would recommend.....my wife had a toasted tea cake, which was great but probably needed alittle but longe in the toaster I ordered the cream tea......this cafe actually toasts the scones.....which is strange but was actually quite nice for a change.....they give you loads of jam and clotted cream so you will not be disappointed and left hungry Service was polite but no toilet !!......in this day and age this is strange

My friend and I wanted to warm up with hot chocolate and passed a lot of places before deciding on this one. They have so many lovely cakes and muffins and my chai latte was one of the best I have had, it was so creamy! It was lovely to sit inside by the window and take a break, and the staff were also very friendly. The prices are much better than commercial coffee places, especially because of the quality of the drinks.

I'm English but have lived in Canada for more than 25 years. I came for a vacation in England and went to Oxford for the day. After walking around a lot, we became hungry and so we stopped at QL sandwich bar. I had an American club sandwich and cup of tea. Honest to god, the sandwich was amazing. Huge but amazing. Super good value and recommend to anyone.

We dropped in for a light lunch. I ordered tea and club sandwich and my wife had coffee and a ham panini. My wife sees herself as a bit of a coffee expert and adored the Turkish coffee being nice and strong. The tea was good also. The club sandwich @ £5.65 was huge and filled with chicken, ham, cheese, salad. I just about managed to eat it all.It was delicious, as I am told was the panini. I understand the business has been here for 35 years and a steady stream of customers for take away service came and went whilst we were there. That must say something. There is a small seating area. Service extremely friendly and £14 for lunch in Oxford was a bargain.

I ordered a jacket potato with ham and cheese. The cheese was melted, which is always nice :) but the inside of the potato was very dry and tasteless, but fluffy though.. There was no dressing on the side salad at all, just a bit if coleslaw. Olive oil would have been nice.

Stopped here for a quick lunch in Oxford as it was the first place we saw. There was lots of choice to make your own sandwich but we picked two wraps from the specials. They were really delicious and so full of filling I couldn't finish mine! Quite often sandwiches have barely any filling but these were great, and for a very reasonable price. The smoothie was delicious also. Would visit here again!
