Found it by accident in our way home and its a gem for a Sunday roast and reasonably priced ...highly.recommended.

My Mum had a lovely Birthday lunch celebrating her 60th Birthday with Family & Friends, the Food was delicious and the staff was great to, highly recommend!

The soup was barely hot - just warm and the surf and turf - well the prawns were over cooked and chewey and the steak overcooked as well , grisly and tough - the third bad steak I’ve had there . Staff were ok but one very surly and poker faced . Chips were reheated and onion rings tough and stale . There is a need to step up the game here as it very average . Coffee was ok and cheesecake ok . Location and parking are good and prices acceptable IF the food was better .

Disappointed, prices have risen again and menus are not honest or correct . Surprised to find even a pensioners meal bought for our parents did not come with a cup of tea, even though we’d stumped up for desserts as well. A pie came surprisingly with chips in gravy and Brussels sprouts.

The Ascot is one of those pubs that deserve to be there. Dog friendly, tidy and appealing to look at, this is a place that deserves to be discovered and frequented on a regular basis.

Visited here just for a drink whilst using the Playpark. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lots of choice on offer. Well spaced out tables indoors and outdoors. Will visit again!

Good pub for sport & a bit of food. Great value, food comes out quick & hot. Always have something on & the team are always welcoming

Great eggless cake, ordered due to allergies but honestly couldn't tell the difference even nicer than cakes with egg.

The food is good, what there is of it and some staff are really nice however most of them are rude. There is limited selection of food here and it is not dog friendly inside at all even if it is raining. Not a fan of this cafe. Would only recommend a coffee from here. Over priced as well

Possibly the worst tasting coffee ever had matched by surly unwelcoming young lady behind the counter. The breakfast looked nice but didn’t feel inclined to order due to the poor reception. A shame as it looks like a nice cafe. Looks can be deceiving.
