The Ascot is one of those pubs that deserve to be there. Dog friendly, tidy and appealing to look at, this is a place that deserves to be discovered and frequented on a regular basis.

Tenía una fiesta de cumpleaños aquí y qué fantástica noche que era. Todo el mundo era muy servicial y muy amable. El encargado poner en su propia era preciosa y cada uno complementado. El personal era muy simpático y no podía ayudarnos lo suficiente. Estoy muy satisfecho de haber reservado el salón de funciones en los brazos ascot ya que ayudó a que mi cumpleaños una noche para recordar. No estoy seguro de por qué la gente tendrían sólo este pub 1 estrellas y decir que el personal es grosero como este definitivamente no es cierto. Sí, los terratenientes hijos eran unos y nos ayudó a todo se resolvió, pero no los ve a través de la noche, hasta que me ofrecieron algo de comida y me dijeron que podía unirse a nosotros. Ellos también eran muy educados y jugaba con los otros niños que estaban en la fiesta.

Estaba en un compromiso familiar el sábado ido y tengo que decir que no se reserva ninguna de mis futuros eventos! Niños corriendo por los terratenientes hall casi gente llamando, marcharon alrededor de la comida y luego el personal del bar era tolerable hablando a los clientes con una boca llena de comida. Sinceramente muy muy decepcionado porque este solía ser un pub para tomar una copa, lo que claramente ha caído en picado.

Reservamos nuestra participación en este lugar y se puede decir que. . . . ¡Qué error!

Mi familia y yo visitamos este pub esta noche, honestamente puedo decir que es el peor que he visitado, pub personal grosero, limitado stock, muy mal gestionado. La única cosa positiva acerca de la noche era el entretenimiento. Recomendaría este pub a nadie. El gerente llamó uno mi familia los nombres bajo el sol, sin ninguna razón en absoluto? Totalmente confundido en cuanto a el trato que recibimos, como un todo no fue una gran experiencia. No volveré!

Visit here regularly, usually having a meal . Friendly staff, good food and great price.. a large pub garden for families, with some livestock and a small horse. Usually live music at weekends, and the landlord offers many outdoor functions in the warmer months.

Visited with friends and had a fantastic evening, staff are lovely and very welcoming and the when atmosphere was great

Yo vivo localmente en este pub y estaba emocionado de ver que es renovado el año pasado. Ya que está a poca distancia andando y era para niños pensé que quizás un gran lugar para ir cuando tengo mi nieta para comer el domingo, etc.

A principios de este año, la llamada seguido aquí la sepultura de un muy querido y muy respetado señora de la comunidad, persona que tenía un querido toda la vida dada tanto en muchos aspectos a la Comunidad alrededor de ella. Ella era tan conocida, como persona digna. Qué tristeza tener su "Celebración", celebrado en este lugar!

Normally a lovely family friendly pub, on this occasion threatened by an incapacitated regular for absolutely no reason whilst visiting with out 3 year old. Staff did nothing, they should have called the police

This is a great pub with great food and drink offers and very atentive freindly staff, they have a great cocktail menue to try tooo and make some great looking shots, over all well worth a visit weather for a lively weekend or a relaxed sunday lunch will be there on a rgular basis in the near future

What a great afternoon, we had fantastic service, great food and child friendly .. I made a booking in case and although quite quiet when we started , I'm glad they booked it out for us. Would definitely recommend it !

Went to Ascot Arms with friends for Sunday lunch. At 12.30 pub restaurant not busy except for bar customers. We ordered at the bar and waited quite a while for starters. The prawn cocktail had very small amount of prawns but my starter of smoked salmon was not served as menu which said smoked salmon with bread and butter. It consisted of a ball of cream cheese topped with small amount of smoked salmon, some soggy toast, red onion chutney and salad garnish. Hardly as described on menu. The roast pork dinner looked like it was cooked last week and warmed up and the beef stew with Hungarian dumplings had to be sent back to be reheated. The dumplings were not as expected more like shredded dough. Obviously this was how it's served in Hungary but not to our taste. The sticky toffee bombe turned out to be an ice cream dessert and the Hungarian pancakes with fresh fruit were just two pancakes with jam like purée. The service was friendly and the waiter listened to our comments about the misleading menu. The pub got busier by then with a lot of families with children so we left. Not really my sort of place for Sunday lunch and won't be visiting again

I had great food. The chicken burger was yummy and nice chunky chips. Service was quick and friendly. Lots of stuff for the kids. Kids meals and petting Zoo to keep them entertained. I'll be revisiting with the family soon!

The new management / owner greeted us as we dined and it was clear that he has a good vision to create an establishment worth visiting.The bar / restaurant has ample space, lots of parking, very good 'garden' with a great miniature petting zoo which houses chickens, baby chicks, rabbits, guinea pigs and even a miniature horse - brilliant idea and I hope it grows.The food was great, we'll be revisiting soon (this weekend in fact)The décor was brand new - must have spent thousands on the refurb and decorating.In short - a lovely place worth visiting.
