The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in West Lancashire North West

Why doe's Booths fresh breads look so lovely and always smell and taste like cardboard I should really go to a proper bakery I guess

Took my 2 nephews for something to eat,no impressed by decor. To my nephews,not very Harry Potter. Food was very expensive and not the greatest quality. Will not be going back,if you have not been,don't bother.

Food arrived hot and was very tasty it’s a shame the cheesecake was aswell totally ruined mess in the box

Went today and can honestly say it was lovely. We both ordered soup and a sandwich, we should have listened, the sandwich had to be taken home as we were that full. The soup was made fresh, so there is a wait but well worth it, homemade croutons and barm cake also. Fair price for fresh food. No complaints from us… Compliments to the chef. We will be back

Nice pub great staff and management

BE CAREFUL OF PARKING TIME. Only 30 mins parking allowed and signage isnt obviously visible when you enter. fill up, buy some snack and get a coffee and you could well be over the 30mins limit allowed. Not long enough for a coffee to be drunk at a reasonable pace if 'eating in' Won't be using this again as there is no way to 'refund' for genuine visitors if you receive a ticket.

Been many times and everything has been great…but the last few visits have been declining…today the food was ok nothing notable special anymore, the waitress was rude, kept forgetting us, didn't ask about our allergies had to remind her repeatedly about a nut allergy on the table, didnt bring us an allergy declaration to complete as we have done at this pub on every other visit, didnt bring drinks as seems to be a theme in reviews, we complained, she said we should sit somewhere else if we didn’t want to be forgotten, one of our table spoke to the manager about the poor standard of service at the end of the meal, the manager claimed she was lying and the service had been fine, we asked if there was a way to complain more formally she told us to leave a review….she was busier than ever so she couldn’t care less about a bad review. It was a Saturday lunch time and we were one of only two tables eating…..not sure I’ve ever had such bizarre service, the manager actively standing too close to us arguing about whether or not the staff member was rude showed us it was a waste of time complaining , if that’s how the manager deals with customers how could we expect anything better from her staff, all in all a massive disappointment and a huge shame as we could have took our custom elsewhere and will in future. Be very careful if you have an allergy they really don’t seem to care anymore.

Place has very rude staff, which have experienced on multiple occasions. Standard of coffee is poor and drinks always cold. Is no longer dog friendly, which will prevent me from visiting again.

No wonder. Over priced coffee, dirty tables, dirty floors, dirty toilets. What more do you want from your local coffee shop. Good luck to the new Managing Director
