Went today and can honestly say it was lovely. We both ordered soup and a sandwich, we should have listened, the sandwich had to be taken home as we were that full. The soup was made fresh, so there is a wait but well worth it, homemade croutons and barm cake also. Fair price for fresh food. No complaints from us… Compliments to the chef. We will be back

Simply the best breakfast in wigan, full of flavour and fresh items, really easy to swap items and very friendly people, I always take my family and visitors from Brazil and they just love it

Food is good when you can get it, but losing count number of times place an order then get to check out and it says closed even those website says opened, when you ring them they say closed the website and app down as too busy so either need more staff or manage the order system better. its getting to the point where i am now not placing order and going elsewhere which is a shame as food is good.

2 kids not impressed at all. Pasta sauce was like water. 3 meatballs. Chips are odd tasting perhaps the oil. Sausages was a thumbs down also. I had a jacket so cant go wrong but no butter so dry and a strange oil on the salad dressing. Had to queue to pay...only went because spoons was closed...doubt i would go back...maybe they should cut back on the size of menu they offer also.

We had my daughters christening gathering here today. Everything was perfect couldn’t have asked for anything more. The food was beautiful and the staff were amazing! Thank you Dave and all the team x

Setting and service was good but food was disappointing. My wife had a sandwich and the bread looked and tasted like cheap sliced bread. I had a steak and ale 'pie' which turned out to be just a crust topping on a dish. Not what I would call a pie! The meat was either poor quality or badly cooked as it was tough

BE CAREFUL OF PARKING TIME. Only 30 mins parking allowed and signage isnt obviously visible when you enter. fill up, buy some snack and get a coffee and you could well be over the 30mins limit allowed. Not long enough for a coffee to be drunk at a reasonable pace if 'eating in' Won't be using this again as there is no way to 'refund' for genuine visitors if you receive a ticket.
