Lovely Cafe with a great atmosphere Friendly staff and fabulous food and coffee. I started to visit Piccino since spring time this year and have frequently returned, also bringing friends. Friendly staff add an extra touch and is also why I return as nothing is too much trouble! Would highly recommend.

I had seen numerous ads for this dog-friendly cafĂ©, so I decided to visit for the first time right after it opened at 7:30 AM during my morning dog walk. While the site claims to be dog-friendly, there were signs indicating that dogs werenât allowed in certain areas, and there was no one outside to clarify which areas those were. I also attempted to enter the cafĂ© at 7:40 AM, but the doors were locked, and although staff inside saw us, they ignored us. I went to the kiosk to inquire about opening times and dog-friendly areas, but no one was available to help. After wandering around aimlessly for a bit, I left, feeling that the environment wasnât very friendly or welcoming.

Visit regularly when we see my mum at local carehome. Asked for two coffees, did not specify what size. Mum, who has dementia wanted cake, as we were eating lunch later, I knew she couldn't have much. I saw sign that said free victoria sandwich with coffee. I asked owner if we could have a very small piece for mum. He said no, because you have a large coffee. You can pay for a slice if you want!!!! I didn't ask for a large coffee, and was asking for a very small piece to keep an old lady happy. Very poor customer service and very poor compassion.

Waterfields always good for food pies, sandwiches, cakes etc., it is just in the wrong spot outside of the village area and no where to park. It's a shame because I think it loses loads of business by not being actually in the village.

Been here lots of times over 30+ years. A lovely old pub with good food and drink with garden/patio seating in the back and plenty of parking. My wife and I always enjoy a pint of Guinness here for me and a glass of wine for her. Very popular, quite a few people in. A nice cosy atmosphere, even the coal burner was lit. We've enjoyed fish and chips here on so many occasions. At ÂŁ16 each, it's not cheap, but on this occasion, it was a bit smaller and greasier than previously, otherwise our review today would have been 5 star. Plenty of staff in today, so customer service was excellent. Yes we will be back, again and again. Recommended
