The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Whitley Bay North Tyneside North East

Went for lunch today with my mam and aunty. Crab sandwiches were lovely as were the cakes - we found it difficult to choose! The best thing was the customer service. Everyone that served us was lovely and helpful. Big shoutout to Deborah who is the most lovely lady. Also had the patience of a saint while we tried to order different cakes in different boxes to take home 😂 my mam has bad mobility issues and after attempting to walk too far on the seafront I had to take her back to use the little lift to get to the car park. Deborah immediately came and asked what she could do to help. Will be going back 100%!

We were NOT made to feel welcome at all, as we did not have a booking. We were sent to the bar area but the bar man’s tone made us feel like we were an inconvenience. When we went to order we had the same challenge with the bar man, when we asked if we could upgrade our fries, he flat out refused. Then whilst waiting for our drinks we had to listen to two members of staff bitching and moaning about the place. Finally when we did get our food after quite a wait, the waitress that brought the dishes was wearing so much perfume that it ended up being all we could taste for the first few mouthfuls of our food. Such a shame as the decor is lovely, the food seems very good but the staff really let the place down. I’d give it a wide berth!!

Visited for coffee and lunch. Dreadful. Terrible weak coffee wanted me to pay £4.40 for a coffee with an extra shot this would have only made you able to taste coffee. Lots of lovely places in Whitley Bay. Avoid

Well only popped in for a quick drink omg first we where ignored May be we stood a the wrong side of the bar ?? , but I'm sure the shelf needed tiding ... j thought they had gone to Brazil for the coffee beans I know a bar person isn't the best ( Iv been there) but please don't ignore people won't be rushing back.

We both had a latte and cakes, different to each other, coffee was well made, the cakes were fresh and delicious. It's true that the staff are under pressure, lots of customers, few staff, but they were all working hard, the two who I had direct contact with were friendly, smiley and did a good job. All Costas have problems but this Whitley Bay branch is worth 4 🌟

Went for coffee last week and discovered that this cafe had closed down. It must have closed within the last few weeks. Always thought that it was quite popular.
