Split Chimp in North Tyneside

Went for lunch after passing the day before, food was lovely and the cakes were incredible, the service was exceptional and have to give a shout out to Deborah who served us, she gave true meaning to the words customer service, nothing was too much trouble! People are often quick to call out poor service but rarely do people take the time to let people know how good they are too! Deborah you are a credit to Valerie’s Tearoom!

Visited for coffee and lunch. Dreadful. Terrible weak coffee wanted me to pay £4.40 for a coffee with an extra shot this would have only made you able to taste coffee. Lots of lovely places in Whitley Bay. Avoid

Came for breakfast 2,days in a row while staying in Tynemouth. It was the best place for breakfast that we could find. Lovely menu, lovely food and friendly service !

I went to this venue for a special evening to see some singers. Tickets were bought in advance. We arrived on time to find the place packed and no seats. People were standing, even blocking exits. There were too many tickets sold for safety and the bar staff couldn't cope well .

Absolutely outstanding! Finest beef in the northeast! Staff where welcoming, friendly and very patient! (We had children) I would highly recommend this pub:)
