Disappointing. We went primarily to view the "Portrait of America" photos at the back of the Gallery. This is more a coffee shop than a Gallery. I had read about the Photos but was disappointed that there was no additional information especially on the location of each photo. They came with a price to buy and GPS location but not easy to find in limited space with limited time. Coffee was not worth waiting for as, although had a good flavour, it wasn't hot enough.

The consistency in the reviews seem to be that the food is good however the staff are very rude. I’m afraid I have to agree. The staff speak to you like they’re doing you a favour by acknowledging your presence. There’s a huge undertone of arrogance and entitlement from when you walk up to the counter. Not a great start to the day. It’s disappointing as it’s a nice place. Won’t be going back.

Would recommend this place really highly. Didn’t get a chance to grab a bite but will sure do next time. Feels lovely inside when the sun is shining through the windows. Opposite Kensal Rise station so very convenient. …More 1 Tia Tuovinen Local Guide·327 reviews·304 photos 5 years ago Nice little spot for some great coffee and delicious treats. You can feel good about yourself eating some good-looking sandwiches, or order sweet treats with gluten free and vegan options available. Nice vibes and good for people watching or working on your laptop. Seemed to be popular meetup spot for moms with trolleys. Arianna Comis 6 reviews 3 months ago The coffee was great and the service was perfect. I highly recommend this coffee shop! Malcolm Nash 29 reviews a year ago Great coffee, brilliantly presented with hot milk and water, so you can develop it into what you like best. Good range of cakes etc. Seats could be a little more comfortable, but all else is perfect. my Lim Local Guide·542 reviews·720 photos 5 years ago Not many cafes in the area, they are opposite to Kendal Rise station. flat white was great and cheaper than central London price. Limited selection of food items but if you're looking for a good spot in Kensal for a coffee and to answer a few emails or have a chat with friends then this is surely a better option than going into the Costa several doors down! JR Bradbury Local Guide·1,133 reviews·8948 photos 2 years ago Cable still do the best coffee in Kensal Rise although Gail's over the road is okay too. The coffee and cake was totally excellent and gluten free. …More Bymarlon - Ryan Munroe Bymarlon 7 reviews 4 years ago Cool, cute, cafe, good drink and food!! No. Complaints there! I have used it for work meetings as it's calm enough to have a conversation. There is a full selection of tea and coffee with friendly baristas and they have cakes and sandwiches too. Not too pricey! 1 Daniel Spalding Local Guide·14 reviews·1 photo 5 years ago A great local coffee shop. Not much in the way of food except for a few coffee shop type snacks and what look like some decent sandwiches, but the coffee tastes great made by experts. It can get busy at times and it is small, but usually you're able to get a seat. Phoebe Wynn-Jones 16 reviews 4 years ago Don’t be fooled by the hipster set up! These guys are AWFUL. Although not an extreme regular I have been using Cable maybe once a month for about 7 years as I live nearby. Today when I went in the shop was empty, there were two guys behind the cash register, one very tall, about 6'5"and one shorter, unshaven with a baseball cap. They continue their conversation while I stand waiting to place my order. After about maybe 30 seconds the tall guy acknowledged me and took my order for a flat white. The other guy went and started stacking kilo bags of coffee on the shelf behind the coffee machine. I stood there for a little while thinking maybe the guy in the baseball cap didn't make coffees. Another customer came in and the tall guy took her order. The baseball cap was still very slowly stacking the shelf. Perhaps two or three minutes had passed by now, no one had started to make my coffee. I decided to sit down and wait. The tall guy tells baseball cap that he needs two coffees and baseball cap at last starts to make them. I have now been in the shop at least 5-6 minutes. I hear the brewing process going on and baseball cap is heating the milk. At this point they continue their conversation and baseball cap is standing with the milk jug in his hand. After a few more seconds of waiting I lose patience, get up, go to the counter and ask if they are going to make my coffee or continue their conversation. Baseball cap says that if I don't have time to wait for a good coffee to be made it is not his problem, (his actual words). I take the coffee, and say that I have been coming to Cable for a number of years and I will never be back. Baseball cap says "Ciao". I leave, boiling with rage. That Ciao eh! The coffee was good though. My wife can't understand what took me so long.

Arrived on a Saturday morning 30 minutes after opening. The lights were off and it was cold inside. I waited patiently at the counter without acknowledgement for a minute or so whilst the 3 staff busied themselves, then I placed my order. 2 barely warm flat whites arrived, then a bit later our breakfast, which was good. My rating is based on the lack of any sort of welcome or interest from the staff, and the cold unwelcoming atmosphere. We sat with our coats on, as did others. Whoever runs this café should sit and observe their staff because they need some customer service training. It’s the basics that are lacking here, and they could do with a reminder that it’s their customers who are paying their wages. This is not a cheap establishment, so I expect a bit more interest/enthusiasm, and I imagine other customers do too.

¡No volverĂ©!

I live in Bristol and regularly visit family who live in Kent and every morning whilst visiting, it is family tradition to go the Koffi pot. We have never had a bad meal and the service is impeccable. Each time we come up to visit, the waiting staff and kitchen staff always come out to personally welcome us in. Good food, great service and smiles all round, what more could anybody want when having a good breakfast! We look forward to visiting again soon when we are in the area, many thanks.

Visited here on Sunday 30th October with family. The food was fantastic. Started with oysters (which were amazing) cream cheese with tomato on toast, cod cheeks and langoustines. Followed by pheasant pie, fish pie, bone on rib with delicious chips. The setting is beautiful and the staff very attentive. Highly recommended đź‘Ś

I've been here a few times before and it's been pleasant enough but today we were served by the rudest, most incompetent person who made the worst Bloody Mary both me and my friend have ever tasted!
