Nue Ground in Lambeth

Me encanta este lugar tanto - es una pequeña joya en Clapham. Los empleados son todos tan encantadores, siempre sonrientes y serviciales. La comida, el personal, el café son geniales y el ambiente es realmente encantador - gran música también! También visité recientemente el estudio de al lado para un facial con Dina - WOW. Tan relajante y mi piel se veía increíble. Sin duda un lugar digno de visitar!

Pobre café, esta es mi segunda visita y el café de hoy de £ 5 acaba de sellar mi opinión. Sabe a mala calidad. Esperaría un café curado de calidad, potencialmente orgánico en un lugar 'saludable' como este (con tales precios), pero desafortunadamente no. La decoración es simple y agradable, pero el baño necesita una buena limpieza

Empecemos con lo positivo. Nu Ground ofrece un menú interesante con opciones atractivas, en el lado más saludable y en línea con otros lugares de brunch y cafeterías de la zona. El diseño del lugar es relajante y coincide con la imagen de la marca. Lamentablemente, la comida era muy abrumadora. Si bien la presentación era bastante buena, los perfiles de sabor eran malos (waffles salados demasiado ácidos, avellana desmenuzada insoportablemente salada) y la comida no sabía bien. Esto es lo que esperarías de tu amigo tratando de duplicar una receta de aspecto saludable que se encuentra en Instagram en lugar de un lugar real y profesional. El servicio fue lento y desorganizado.

Elegante café que sirve principalmente vegano / vegetariano. La comida era generalmente decepcionante, excepto el café y las galletas que eran buenas. El personal desorganizado - no limpiaron los platos sucios y tuvimos que marcar a alguien para pedir algo más después de nuestra red. Los niveles de ruido son altos. Bonito lugar para un animado café y pastel en la encantadora Abberville Road.

Lovely coffee. Great taste in a shop a 5 minute walk to Clapham Common park. Lots of seats inside too. Great service with friendly staff

Unfortunately, I’ve rarely had a positive experience at nue ground which is usually teeming and badly run. It has a nice selection of food and is definitely ‘trendy’ but always disappoints. I regularly come in for a take away coffee and often end up waiting forever or leaving empty handed because they are simply not equipped to serve the amount of tables they have and takeaways. A few weeks ago they had about 150 girls from a walking group outside waiting for coffees. Turns out nue ground had advertised for them to stop on their walk but had nothing set up to account for the number of people and other guests who might turn up. Everyone was all over the pathway too while they scrambled to set up a truck to serve them (shouldn’t this have been done ahead of time if they had planned this…?) I’ve worked in service for a while myself, even as a barista in a very busy place and we would always prioritise take aways in between sit in orders as they were quick to do and get out of the way but even though there was no queue today I was told I would have to wait a very long time for one take away coffee?! Just ridiculous. Bit fed up at this point and it’s unfortunate there’s not anywhere on the road I can get another decent coffee from to take away.

The environment and place were very nice and there were only about three customers there. However, we ordered breakfast which took over 20 minutes to come and when we asked the waiter to check where it was, he was quite ironic about it. Had ordered two fried eggs on toast with well done bacon and it came out stone cold. Mentioned this at the time of paying. I cannot understand when you have absolutely no other orders in the kitchen that two separate orders could come in this way. A very expensive breakfast so left half of it because I don’t like cold fried eggs

This place is brilliantly clean and, though very simply decorated, pleasant, with a long row of plants. The cappuccino tasted all right (not great). BUT!!! The cups don't have handles! Who thought that was a good idea? The invention of the cup handle was a very sensible one, so you would not burn your fingers! So what do they do--they do not serve the coffee as hot as it could be. This perhaps accounted for the time it took for my order to arrive (no one ahead of me). Were they waiting for the coffee to cool down. Also, the cappuccino did not have a nice topping of milk foam, which is the reason you buy it, it's fun. Instead there was some kind of logo depicted on the flat top. Who needs that? But this is even crazier--there was no sugar on the tables. I went to the counter and asked why not. One of the two girls serving said that if customers want it they can ask for it--which of course was not an answer to my question. I was given a tiny cup that held about two teaspoons. When I left I asked the other girl why no sugar on the tables and she said, This way we can be sure we won't run out. Well, of course you won't run out if you don't let the customers have any! The charge for this tepid flat-topped cappuccino was £4, plus 42 pence for "service," which I declined to pay. The cafe sells pilates accessories and there are references to "wellness," so perhaps they don't want their more typical customers to be triggered and go into shock at the sight of a bowl of sugar.

Lovely local spot! We went there for Sunday brunch and really enjoyed it! Plenty of vegetarian/ vegan options! 👏🏼

I went to Shake I asked without ice the waitress gave me less than half cap price for 50ml is £7.95 where if I took with ice she said that it would come out more Don't go there ever

Very good cappucino coffee with a nice ambiance. Perfect for a stop over or for working. They also have many types of homemade snacks

As a visitor to London, met my daughter who had been here before and came for brunch on Saturday morning. What a great treat. First thing I noticed was the really friendly service. The whole brunch menu was tempting. I had the Scandi - best avocado combination I've ever had. Beautifully presented and absolutely delicious! Well worth a vist to Nue Ground.

I’ve been here twice now and the food is absolutely fabulous. The staff are super friendly and so accommodating! Couldn’t reccomended it enough

Great tasting coffee and delicious food with outstanding service in the family owned business. Much care and attention has gone in to this local diner with cool surroundings, crockery, and a brilliant healthy menu. The Salmon and avocado bun is recommended and the coffee was one of the best ever ! Try a well priced healthy shot to set you up for the day. The staff were super professional, attentive and really friendly. Georgie and Charles who served us were great and delivered outstanding service. Highly recommended.

I live nearby and regularly start my day with an oat cortado at Nue Ground. It is one of the best coffees I have every come across. I also come with my wife for brunch at weekends. The staff are very friendly and hard-working and I have got to know some of them quite well. The food is also really good - from posh breakfast/brunch in the morning to lunch items later in the day. The food has a Middle Eastern twist to it but there is something for everyone.

Went here for brunch but ended up ordering the porridge with a smoothie. Have to say this was probably the best porridge I’ve ever had - the grain used was brilliantly cooked and was served with beautifully stewed plums and coconut yoghurt and just all worked so well together. Smoothie also was delicious. So lovely when simple food is cooked to new levels

Had a great lunch here on Good Friday. Opted for the jerk chicken wrap and it was fresh, tasty and delicious. Fabulous layout and decor, friendly service, an all round excellent experience. I highly recommend

Waited almost 30 minutes for a takeaway coffee. Staff stoney faced and unwelcoming. Took 15 minutes just to take my order. When the coffee was eventually made it was cold, lukewarm at best. Disappointing experience.

Excellent venue with delicious coffee. I have been here several times with a friend and we sat outside on Berry occasion.

sometimes the food is ok and other times they can’t be bothered. I ordered slow roast tomatoes and received a box of unwashed and uncooked tomatoes. I called the person hung up and then decided not to pick up again.

What a perfect place for breakfast. Light and stylishly decorated. Friendly service . So much better to patronise this than the prolific brand offer round the corner. This is such a treat and I’ll definitely be back .

Excellent local cafe/restaurant. The food is interesting, thoughtful, and delicious. It’s also healthy if you’d like, although the scrambled eggs, sourdough, and bacon brekkie is fab too. The staff are great, and whilst service can sometimes be a little slow the place has a lovely feel to it.

Nue Ground is a restaurant, but I only stopped for coffee, which was excellent, and added an apple, lemon, ginger and turmeric immunity shot (expensive considering the small portion). This place is amazing. So friendly and the cakes and coffee are the best. And on a sunny day get you coffee go to park and relax. The staff are sick and always helpful 5 stars no joke James
