3ple birthday celebrations! I booked a table for 24 people three weeks in advance for an indoor semi-private area, sth that was also discussed during a phone call with the pub. However, just a few hours before the event, I got a call saying that my space was double-booked, and we would have to sit outside!!! (in -5-degree weather with a lot of kids). After arguing for 20 minutes, where I was told nothing could be done and the only option was to sit at the bar, I finally got an indoor area. They suggested I complain to the parent company, saying there was nothing they could do. Clearly, that wasn’t true since they found a space for us after our discussion. I am very disappointed, especially since we are part of the local community and have been to The Bull many times. Because of this experience, I won’t consider returning for a large event or another birthday celebration, as I can’t risk having a booking changed at the last minute, even with multiple confirmations and a deposit.

Food good, but not hot enough. Much too cold to be eating outside. Many thanks to Joas for going out of his way to find us space inside.

I had my lunch at the Bull on Saturday. The food and service were fantastic. I loved the open fireplace in the cold weather. It makes the atmosphere more cosy. I wanna definitely come back for Sunday roast in January.

Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience with delicious food and outstanding service. Ours servers India and Yuial, were both attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, ensuring that our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable. I highly recommend visiting for a comforting roast dinner, and you won’t be disappointed!

Lovely as always! And they've increased the portions (having scaled them back a bit after covid) so I'm jolly happy. Not the cheapest by any stretch, but for those occasional and special lunches, it's cracking. A long time favourite.

My family booked a reserved space,the £25 per head buffet and put some money behind the bar for a wake following the funeral service of my brother-in-law. The space was just what we needed for this event for 50 people. Quiet and spacious with lots of ways to organise and re-arrange for evolving groups of people as different catch-ups happened and food was eaten and various discussions progressed on the deceased's life and associated memories. Cara and her team provided a discrete and responsive service to give us a fitting finale to the day. No hurry or rush. Lots of attentive service.Well done the Bull. Thoroughly recommend the team for providing this great service. BTW..important value for money observation...the total bill for the afternoon(including drinks) for 50 people was £2000. So fab service in great surroundings at a very reasonable price. Mark

We had a lovely afternoon at The Bull. It was really cosy with lovely fireplaces. The Roasts were delicious and portions were very generous. Lizzie and Hannah were warm, friendly, helpful, adapted the dishes to our preferences and it was a lovely festive atmosphere! Highly recommend Sunday lunch here!

Hearty portions of great tasting food.

Had Christmas dinner with a large group of friends. Place looks amazing, so cozy and perfect for Christmas. We had the Christmas set menu. Here are my thoughts: Starters I have the tagliatelle with Devonshire crab. Nice size portion, absolutely delicious. Main: pheasant wellington. The portion was small and a bit dry. Lovely swiss chard, perfectly cooked. The mushrooms were nice but far too salty. Dessert: poached pears. Portion far too small, especially the cream, two little blobs. Should have been a decent size quenelle, and perhaps two pears as they were so small. But other than that it was delicious. Staff were great and food was served promptly with a little pause in between. A great night out was had by all. Just a few tweaks to the menu and it is great meal.

The Sunday lunch came out a bit cold. However the portion was a lot and they had a nice fire and outdoor seating area.

We go all the time with friends, family and pets. Either winter or summer the vibe is great, being very welcoming with kids and pets. The food is always delicious and desserts are to die for. Thank you for going the extra mile yesterday in our three joints birthdays.

Two of us had the Sunday roast after having had a challenging morning. Delicious, nice choice of vegetables, huge Yorkshire Puddings and hot. So many places serve luke warm food, especially in the afternoon. Despite being incredibly busy the staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient. The decorations made everything look very festive. We've eaten here a number of times and have always enjoyed the food. Reasonably priced too. Highly recommend.

Perfect Sunday roast- hadn’t booked but we’re sat down promptly. Hannah was lovely, polite and attentive throughout despite it being rather busy. The food was presented beautifully. Would return.

We had 10 people team booked for 7 . The prices are ridiculous, from whole food manu we couldn’t choose anything as the names of every dish is not clear. On the end we get a bill with 30 £ service charge- we couldn’t agree with that and refused to pay.(30 min we just sit without sip of drink) very disappointed with everything!!! Went for a Sunday roast. Service was brilliant. Served by Yuial and Hannah who made the area accommodating for my buggy and catered to our every request/order with a smile and enthusiasm. Atmosphere was buzzy and vibrant. A real good mix of families, small kids, couples and friends Food is delicious. I’ll definitely be back for another roast soon.

Fantastic roast chicken dinner. And great service despite the place being slammed. Highly recommend. And the beetroot and goats cheese salad was delish! Not cheap but most definitely worth it! Had enough for lunch next day :)

Great pub I've seen change over the past 50 years, quality ale on cask.

It is a place I have been too before and the food is always lovely. We were served by staff who were attentive and pleasant one of whom has worked there for a while and remembered me from previous visits

I visited on a Thursday afternoon with my sister and friend. Amazing as always. Was served by Hannah today and she was lovely. Very smiley and bubbly, excellent customer service and happy to help. Will be visiting again soon ☺️

We hosted my husband's birthday party at The Bull and we had an amazing time. The staff were so helpful, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely. A special thank you to Cala, Mike and Neil!

Not always sure what to expect from pub food, but this was outstanding. I had the game pie followed by fruit crumble, both wonderful, and there's even Winter Warmer on tap, friendly staff and an open fire. We'll be back sooner rather than later.

You just can’t go wrong at the Bull

One of may visits to The Bull. A very busy Sunday lunch, so while the staff were as good as always the wait for food was too long, and one of the meals when it arrived was very poor and had to be refunded - which is rare - and we were in a heated hut but even so not the most comfortable on a cold afternoon, so for this occasion so just 3/5.

I was a little unfair giving only A 4 star rating. Maybe A 4*+ would be better reserving 5* for the best of the best. For sure I would return the food was good.

Such a cosy stylish pub! Highly recommend the Sunday roast here. The vegetarian was one of the best roasts I’ve had! They have multiple live fires inside and out you can sit next too. Everyone with us was raving about their roasts too. Will definitely be back!

Really cool pub, large beer garden serving burgers outside. The toilets aren't amazing and sometimes hard to get served but other than that it's a nice relaxed venue. Would recommend

Amazing Pub in Wandsworth or Lambeth Council territory SW16. Situated across the road from the delightful Streatham Common with it's many scenic walkways. Top tier indoor & outdoor options. Heated covered outdoor booths (I mean come on). Warm & cozy indoor spaces. Gender inclusive establishment. Never had a bad time there in over 15 years.

Came here for a date night and it was lovely. The food was delicious and the portion sizes generous. The staff were really helpful and friendly, particularly Neil who helped us choose our desserts!

We went here on Thursday night to celebrate a birthday. We were welcomed and made to feel comfortable. The food was excellent and hot. We will definitely be coming back to try the Sunday roast quite soon. Thank you all for a very enjoyable night.

This is a great pub. Have eaten a couple of times and popped in just for a pint. Great atmosphere and the staff are friendly and very efficient. Really nice inside. Great beer garden. We went on a Sunday this time. 3 had a roast. I had fish and chips. The fish and chips were excellent. The roasts were very good but the overall feeling was that it would have been preferable not to have it layered, with ingredients presented separately. Also the cauliflower cheese needed more cheese. I think food is good value (cheaper than a lot of places at home and better quality.) Dog friendly. recommend.

Three ladies that lunch but celebrating a birthday We were welcomed warmly by Eliot and who was also very attentive and chatty. we had a choice of any part of the dining area We ordered two chicken and mushroom pies and one Welsh rarebit.(mains) All the meals were really tasty and plentiful but we all found them a little bit too salty. Not sure why.
