Just in Case Cafe & Wine Bar in Lambeth

This is a review of Frida’s, which doesn’t seem to be on TripAdvisor. The food was dull and flavourless. The nachos were OK, and the guacamole was good but the beef burrito was just mince and rice in a wrap. No spice, no flavour. And the “sour cream” that came with it was the consistency of milk - is it watered down? The chicken burrito was marginally better but the tacos were tasteless as well.

Mother Kelly’s is an exceptional place for beers and cocktails. The drinks are amazing. The atmosphere and environment is really nice.

The Bull is a local pub which serves a decent range of beers including 3 proper real ales. There’s a good range of wines as well. The food portions are good and the quality very acceptable. The menu changes with the seasons and although sometimes they put on very experimental dishes is most are what you’d expect. On this visit we were served by India who is excellent at her job - our fussy eater was accommodated easily and service was just the right speed. The prices are reasonable 3 courses averaging for us at £35 ish sans grog. One request bring back the smoked anchovies

Tasty coffee served in huge cups. Staff were super friendly. Outdoor seating area was clean and tidy.
