Mother Kelly’s in Lambeth

Mother Kelly’s is an exceptional place for beers and cocktails. The drinks are amazing. The atmosphere and environment is really nice.

Nice place to grab a few pints of beer. Nice atmosphere which isn’t pretentious. Enjoyed the selection of drinks. The staff is really friendly too.

Excellent selection of beers, and some decent whiskies too. Very friendly and helpful staff. Alby’s pizzas are also delicious. I hope to visit again.

The bar staff where terrible, rude to and laughing at customers. I have never experienced such service.

So pleased it's open again. We went on a Wednesday night and were surprised how busy it was. But it deserves to be. Not the cheapest but superb range of beers and we had the cheese board and olives for the first time. The cheese board was great, smallish portions but each one of three was superb. Excellent service as always

We had the most amazing waiter, Brandon, who treated our birthday girl so well! We had the best time- amazing combo of music, football and good value drinks!

Andre served us all night he was so much fun, so nice and knew everything and more about the menu. He had so many recommendations and really made our night! Such a lovely COVID safe environment which was cosy even with the cold may temperature and we tried a lot of interesting sour beers and porters and iPas. Would definitely recommend!!!

Good vibes and great beer. With so many pubs far too loud for my liking, the atmosphere here was perfect. Spacious, friendly feel.

Called in for a few beers, good selection, helpful staff, fairly busy Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon

Went here tonight after the Surrey v Sussex game. Was given two pints in plastic cups and politely asked for them to be topped up as the head was a little large in my opinion. Was told by the "I'm the barman" that this is how they were meant to be served. Asked again for them to be topped up and he just walked away. So I left 2 £6 points at the bar. The cups weren't lined. Appalling service and attitude. So had a great night at the nearby Zeitgeist. Get it sorted Mother Kelly. This is not how you serve beer.

Good beers when you can get and/or hear them. We deliberated briefly but all agreed on a solid four.

Exactly the type of thing Vauxhall was missing! The beer selection is sensational, the staff great and the food was terrific

Nice vibe and helpful staff. From the outside it looks like an off licence but there's a huge bit through the back. They have outdoor seating too. The only downside was that all beers over about 4% were only available in 2/3 pints or 1/2 pints. I get why 8% beers are in 1/2 pints but i don't really want to be drinking a 4.5% pale ale in a 2/3 pint, especially when it's so pricey

Loved this place and close to the hotel I was staying in (Vauxhall Travel Lodge). Superb range of beers on draft and what looked like a great selection of boards to nibble on (cheese, meat, olives, etc). My main reason for visiting was the beer though and I wasn’t disappointed. An excellent range of beers on draft and an equally impressive range to buy in the bottle/can shop; of which I spent way too much in but was given a ‘Mother Kelly’s’ glass for free as a thank you for drinking there and purchase out of the shop. The staff were friendly and more importantly, knowledgable about the beer they were serving. The bar was also nicely laid out and had a great feel and vibe to it. I’ll be back!!

Visited Mother Kelly's Vauxhall venue with a group of colleagues. The selection of beers was impressive, and we enjoyed the cheese board, meat board and a veggie board, but the smell at the place was overwhelming! We couldn't stay inside it was so bad! Also, it's been 5 days and I am still chasing my VAT receipts that were promised to be emailed to me as their printers were broken. I wouldn't recommend this place.

If you want a good atmosphere there this place offers you that, no problem. As with most of the craft beer scene it attracts a lot of hipsters and you won't find many people aged over 40 in here. Great range of beers on offer...

They have 33 taps with a diverse range of lagers, ciders and ales. I'd maybe prefer a few darker traditional ales, but I guess that's not very cool. The room is nice, tucked in a rail arch, and I recommend lunch without too many people...

Visited with a few work colleagues. I hadn’t heard of Mother Kelly’s before and was pleasantly surprised. Cavernous inside and mind boggling selection of beers. Due to its size it was a bit lacking in atmosphere but imagine this would not be the case later...
