Very nice pub stumbled upon whilst walking in the neighborhood. 4.5 stars Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Cost to worth it rating: 3 Opentableable: yes Return worthiness: yes Highlights: - Atmosphere: one of nicest pubs I've been to. Clean, open feel to it. - Service: waitress was cheery and timed out starters and mains for a friend coming to meet us - Scotch eggs: could tell was made in house. Eggs cooked just right with a jammy texture and the sausage had a bit of a kick with the addition of chorizo. 4 stars - Sandwich: Turkey, cranberry, and pigs in the blanket all inside a warm panini style sandwich. Unique and tasty. 4 stars - Cider: one of the better ones I had with a nice balance of crispness and only a hint of sweetness. - Dog friendly: my friend's dog wasn't sunny allowed in but welcomed with water and biscuits Midlights: - Sandwich didn't come with chips and they looked so good regretted not ordering them. Lowlights: - Desserts sounded grand but was too full to order any Loved this delightful lunch and would come back intentionally next time.

A bakery in the first branch of Agorrod Street. Small place. Few tables. The coffee is normal. The contents are a refrigerator containing drinks and salads, and a large table on which there are products, including sandwiches and cakes, from which you can choose, order your coffee, and be charged, and the water on the table is free in Dolkah.

Subject: Chilly Experience at Costa 37 Melcombe St, London NW1 6AG Dear Costa, I am writing to express my concern about the consistently cold temperature inside your [Branch Name] location. While I enjoy visiting your coffee shops, the excessively cold air conditioning has made my recent visits quite uncomfortable. I understand the importance of maintaining a pleasant environment, but the current temperature seems to be significantly lower than what is comfortable for most customers. It would be greatly appreciated if you could consider adjusting the air conditioning settings to a more moderate level. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. Sincerely, K/h

Freshly prepared food, very tasty. The atmosphere was good for Thursday night. It seems to attract office workers and locals too. I had a Spanish omelette and it was very good.

Stopped for a quick snack and drink on a busy weekday. Delicious but small menu- couple of sandwich choices, a few cakes and smoothies. Such a simple concept but worked very well. Chicken and avocado roll was delicious ( brioche bun) and excellent smoothie. Very friendly service and competitive price for central London. Clean loos too! Will return.

Ok so it was definitely my fault. I went in with a Groupon voucher at 3.45pm wanting lunch or afternoon tea for two. I had no prior appointment but I was there with my bestie. The receptionist explained that lunch was over in 15 mins and asked if I’d like to book an appointment for another day. My heart sank. My friend had come all the way down from Buckinghamshire for lunch. We had not caught up in four years. It would be a shame to have to look for a new venue at this time. Florine is consulted (hope I got the name right?) and he comes out with a big smile, apologising profusely (apology???). He explained that the afternoon tea section would be closed in 10 minutes and rather than us rush our lunch and not enjoy it, would we mind if he set it up in the bar so we could take full advantage of the two hours allocated and enjoy our afternoon tea which he promised to set up himself as the chef was finishing his shift. We followed him to the lovely bar where he set up a secluded corner for us and we had a lovely, serene afternoon tea complete with three refills of Prosecco. IT WAS LIKE HAVING YOUR OWN PRIVATE SERVICE BY THE M’AITRE D. As usual The scones were heavenly , the cakes delicate and fresh and the sandwiches moist and filling. I have had my afternoon tea here six times now and will continue to have all my lunch dates there. The staff are delightful and FLORINE went above and beyond today Wednesday 3rd August 2022 with his kindness and excellent service. In these post covid days service like this must be appreciated. THANKS FLORINE THANK YOU MONTCALM MARBLE ARCH PS : I’ll be early next time !!!

An insult to the long tradition of greasy spoon cafs in the capital. The visual shock of clusters of chairs & tables hemmed in by crude boarding left me stone cold. So did the welcome, or lack of it. The man & woman were unseeing, unsmiling and unfriendly. Good mug of builders tea. Ham & cheese omelette was so overcooked and dried out that I left half of it on the plate . Never again.
