Freshly prepared food, very tasty. The atmosphere was good for Thursday night. It seems to attract office workers and locals too. I had a Spanish omelette and it was very good.

Llegamos del aeropuerto de Stansted a la estación de metro de Baker Street un poco justos para comer, pero nos atendieron. Muy buena impresión. El plato Spicy chicken and chipotle pasta estaba perfecto.

Really friendly staff and tasty food. We had a coffee and very nice pastry in the morning and returned for dinner in the evening when we had a freshly cooked paella which was very nice.

I've been a regular customer of the Sorest Cafe for over a decade. I pop in every time I'm in town. This visit on Oct 28th was my first time in 3 months however. A new owner has taken over and refurbished the place. It's lost a list of character and the prices have shot up. I was charged £13.50 for a 3 egg omelette with cheese that was served on it's own with no side salad and didn't even take up half the plate. The waiter didn't speak English well enough to understand my query about the price. My friends full English breakfast was £16. Our total bill was nearly £40, an increase of over £15 on our last visit, for less food, served by worse staff in a less cosy environment. The hospitality industry is tough. I ran my own restaurant for years in France. The new owner has obviously invested a lot of cash to refurbish the Dorset Cafe and is trying to realign it's position in the local market. I wish him well, but I won't return as what he is offering represents very poor value with poor service. There wasn't even soap, hand towel or toilet roll in the loo - I had to request it. Such a shame. Marylebone has lost a lovely local business with character and a loyal customer base.

When we sat down it was very obvious that the two waiting staff were very new. The man behind the counter (manager?) was telling them loudly the order in which he should serve customers - Americans first because they tip well, europeans and British can wait. We are British so didn't;t feel hugely welcome. We ordered French toast, and avocado & eggs on toast, tea and an oat milk latte. The French toast came with a small number of berries and maple syrup, no sign of the banana or cream from the menu description. I told the waiter who clearly had no idea what to do, so he just waited for the manager to come back inside. He told him, and the guy just shrugged! When I paid, I told him that the banana and cream were missing, and that the latte was not oat milk. He argued with me about the oat milk, no response whatsoever to half the ingredients being missing from the French toast. Clearly they don't care - I wonder if I'd been American would I have got the whole meal? £30.55 for this, give it a miss and go somewhere else.

Had a delicious falafel salad with a fresh lemon, honey and ginger tea. The food arrived promptly and was really good value for money. Much better than the chains in the vicinity. I’ll be back!

It all looks OK but service is poor and the bar food served is cheap frozen food at prices that should require a far better quality. There are far better options in London

Caja de almuerzo muy saludable y abundante. Me tomó mucho tiempo terminar en realidad. . Servicio agradable, no demasiado pretencioso, relajado. ¡recomendado!

I used to love this place, but haven't been for nearly 10 years. I'm glad to see it hasn't changed too much, but with the downside that it is now apparently owned by BrewDog. Luckily, it appears they let them continue without having to follow the "taproom by numbers" you get out of most BrewDog bars, so not only does it have it's own look, but there is a much more interesting selection of beers. It was easy enough to get a seat on a Saturday afternoon, which is always a bonus in a decent location like this.

. . HORARIO DE APERTURA De lunes a viernes: 6. 30 a 7. 00 pm Sábado: 7. 30 a 7. 30 pm
