Great cafe a minutes walk away from Wembley Park Tube station. A good old fashioned caff! Greeted with a good morning as I walked in, friendly service, pretty quick too as I mentioned I was heading into central London for a train. Food was great, fresh, good quality, hot and tasted great. Highly recommended.

I had a good experience. Surprised by some of the reviews. I walked in on a Saturday evening. Service was friendly, efficient and attentive. Not too busy. Clean and basic. I ordered the battered cod & chips. I couldn't fault it. Freshly prepared. Huge portion. Comforting and delicious. The dish comprises a crispy battered cod, chips & your choice of peas or Heinz® Baked Beans. I went with the baked beans. So good. Simple and basic.

Food was lovely and quick to arrive. We ordered 6x meals including the burgers, mac & cheese & wanted to order cheesy chips but found out the cheese was actually cheese sauce! Drinks were not the best. We ordered colas & lemonade but you can tell they were the cheap ones. Service was okay, but very minimum, also a service charge was added to the bill without being informed before payment. This is naughty, I would of happily paid a tip, if I thought the service was worth it and the food, but to be made to pay one is naughty and I will warn people of this, and I certainly learnt my lesson to ALWAYS see the bill first. If the service charge was not automatically added and there was more interaction from the staff to us, then it would have the full 5 stars. 100% 5* for food

Cuando un independiente crece demasiado y pierde la identidad original que lo diferenciaba. Desayunamos en esta sucursal hace bastantes años y he tomado un buen café de estos chicos en otro lugar de Londres, así que pensé en volver a visitar ese gran desayuno original. Tristemente, las cosas han cambiado. Ya no es la presentación original de comida y café, esto podría ser cualquier otra cafetería corporativa independiente con todos sus sándwiches preenvasados, etc. Caracterizado por una pregunta al miembro del personal sobre algunos requisitos dietéticos - el miembro del personal no podía ayudar con respecto a las opciones y simplemente dijo "mira en la pantalla". Así que fuimos a la pantalla táctil para encontrar más información. Y en ese momento decidimos llevar nuestra costumbre a otra parte... probablemente para siempre.

It was rather unfortunate for the cafe that their coffee machine broke down this morning as it took nearly half an hour to get 2 coffees (26 minutes to be precise). Two other customers in front of us also got their coffees 25 mins after their order was taken. When our 2 coffees did arrive one was incorrect. We had also purchased 2 doughnuts, which looked absolutely lovely in the display, however I agree with other reviewers - not the best we have ever had - doughnuts a bit tough ie. not fresh (?). With the 30 minute wait, we would have expected the coffees to have been refunded at the very least !! The 2 coffees were very small, 2 doughnuts for £15:40 - bit of a rip off. Have had better artisan cakes and coffees for less in London at other independent retailers. Will not be returning. 856/100 min characters
