Wimpy in Brent

We had an amazing experience here. The staff was so kind. The chicken tenders were the best we had ever had. Again, the staff was so helpful and wonderful.

If you find yourself Wembley way, then please give this fine establishment your custom. Whilst waiting for the Carlisle V Stockport game to KO, I chanced upon this place & I knew it was going to be a good day (my team won btw). Call me old fashioned but I am a sucker for table service delivered with a smile, food cooked to order, and all served on a china plate complete with a knife & fork. My quarter pounder was literally the best burger I had tasted in years (since sadly the Carlisle & Liverpool ones closed). I promised myself I would return asap & did so straight after the match for another meal. Upon departure all the staff waved me good bye. Priceless.

We decided to go here instead of McDonald's and wasn't disappointed! Had the banana thick milkshake which was gorgeous and the bacon and chicken wrap with sweet potato chips and morezzla melts. Would definitely come here again. Staff were friendy and the cafe clean

This Wimpy has a classic design. It's bright and spacious. It's clean and organised. We were made to feel welcome and waited on by a very pleasant lady. We ordered a fried breakfast with tea and then a choc brownie and ice cream each. All of which was brought to us with a friendly and polite manner. The food was cooked well and generous portions. We enjoyed ourselves so much. Recommended.

I live about 2 miles away and I have visited this Wimpy 2-3 times a year for the last 10 years with my family. Food is always filling , tasty and as I would expect from a Wimpy. Service is good and I have never had any complaints. My kids enjoy coming here so that’s good enough for me to keep returning especially as the McDonalds across the road can be extremely busy This Wimpy is a lot more relaxed which is important when you have children.

We visited here with friends before a convert. We noticed a very long queue at McDonalds and thought it would be nice to sit down and have a meal at Wimpy as there aren't many around and it would be a treat - how wrong we were. We joined a very long queue to place an order and managed to get 2 tables as their were 7 of us. The whole place was in chaos so it was a relief to finally get tables as there was no room for all of us to queue and the whole restaurant was really hor. We finally placed our order and in all honesty staff were very sterile - there was no conversation or smiling. It really felt like they were all there against their will. Once we had placed the order and got seated we waited over 50 minutes for our food. We did go up after about 30 minutes to be told it was coming and would be 5 minutes, however after another 20 minutes I had to go and ask again and was told it would be 5 minutes. I started to get really frustrated as having just spent £85 and seeing other tables to arrived and ordered after us being served just made things even more frustration. I then waited by the counter for the food as I was getting really fed up with being fobbed off. The food did start to come, however the order was not correct. As an example I had asked for my Daughter to have a plain burger and this was served with all everything still in (not great and very negligent if there was an allergy)

We chose Wimpy for our breakfast as, staying in the nearby Premier Inn, it's far superior to what the hotel offers, especially with us being veggies. We were so glad to see a Wimpy bar full stop - the one on our town has long-since disappeared, so it's good to see this franchise is continuing in other parts of the country. I hadn't visited a Wimpy Bar for years, and was immediately transformed back to happy childhood memories when we stepped inside. The restaurant was quiet and comfortable, and the last who served us friendly & helpful. We really enjoyed our breakfasts - it was just what we needed after late night out to recharge ourselves, and the milkshakes were very tasty too. We're so glad we chose Wimpy and will def be back the next time we stay at the Premier Inn.

Cant beat a good old Wimpy. Never changes. Always tasty. Good cafe food. Lovely friendly staff. Hope it stays

As a very young lad I used to live in Wembley and go to school nearby. Back then it was a real treat to visit Wimpy, and when I was back in the area I decided to roll back the years and pop in again, after more than half a century! I have to say the burgers, chips and service were all top notch . As we all know there aren't many Wimpy's left, which is a great pity. I do hope they will rise again and increase their outlets.

Had my first Wimpy in years recently and must say I was very impressed. This place was empty, but clean. Service was quick, food was good with big portions and it’s licensed!

Two main meals ordered just after 4pm on a Tuesday afternoon. Fish and chips and a spicy bean burger with two teas came to just over £18. Absolutely first class and both meals total 'gutbusters'. Very friendly and welcoming staff too. Thoroughly recommended.

Fast friendly service. Clean cafe. Great for a quick lunch. Ideal location next to the London Designer Outlet and close to Wembley Stadium.

I usually come in here at lunchtime on a Friday and Saturday before I head off to work. The staff have always been kind and friendly. The food is good too! I personally feel that Wimpy is infinitely superior to McDonalds, but, strangely, they're always empty, which is nice for someone like me who likes the quiet to relax and think while I eat.

Not many of these around anymore but I still remember this as one of the first veggie burgers I had ever had in this country. Good extensive menu even for veggies and very generous portions. Would be better if they had veggie burger on kids menu. You can even get 🍺. What’s not to like. Even has cool old photos of Wembley before us Indians took it over!🤪😂

My friend and I went to the Wembley Park Drive branch after the recent Pink concert as we needed both a snack and to try and sort out a taxi back to our Hotel 3 miles away after being let down by the one we had originally booked. The staff are fantastic, extremely friendly and helpful, and all went above and beyond to not only lend us a phone charger but to help find us transport home in the early hours of the morning. The Manager in particular is an absolute star as he personally stepped in to help and also insisted we stayed in the restaurant (even though it had closed by this time and the staff were cleaning up) until it arrived. What a star! We would thoroughly recommend this Wimpy, as well as fantastic customer service they also serve great food!!!

My daughter and I came here purely because the macdonalds over the road was heaving. We made a great choice. Everything was freshly cooked, the staff were nice and it's extremely reasonable price wise. Much much better value than the crap they serve in macdonalds. Large portions too.

Pleasant staff which take orders for you meal to be cooked fresh so there will be a wait for your food. This is how I like it. The interior isn't the best, nor the cleanest, but I did arrive on a very busy day. The food itself was delicious and succulent.Toilets leave a little to be desired, dated and very grubby, no soap!If I hadn't of needed the toilet then I'd be none the wiser.

Good burger, great service nostalgic visit except now licensed never used to be when I was growing up.

Double egg and chips followed by brown derby eggs expertly cooked,non greasy. may sound simple,the preparation is perfect. Brown derby is an old fashioned Desert,warm doughnut topped with proper ice cream

Somewhat dated in appearance with a menu that has hardly changed since probably 1970s! Ate a fish and chip meal with a soft drink. Just under £10 in value. Every table taken as it was just before a football match at the stadium. Took 20 minutes to receive food due to busy time. Taste was good. Cannot go wrong really as long as you know what they serve.

Went here with my sons after visiting Wembley for a tour, it was exactly as I remember it as a child, the tables, the seats, the menus.

Era un sitio tranquilo (habia poca gente) y comun, la comida no era gran cosa pero en relación calidad precio estaba bien, de hecho en comparacion a otros restaurantes similares era barato. Por 12,5 libras comimos 3 haburguesas con una de ellas patatas y una cocacola. Parecia bastante limpio.

we went here for breakfast had a cooked breakfast of egg,saugage,Bacon.tomatoe,beans and toast plus a coffee for £5.40 very nice not all greasy like some. the place was very clean and excellent service

Well it was nostalgia that brought me through the doors. The menu is larger than I remembered. The burgers are of fantastic quality and service was great.

We called in for breakfast whilst staying in Wembley .The service was good . We had to wait a while for our breakfast ,it was all freshly cooked .The breakfast was good and for the price we paid it was very good value, and it came with tea or coffee .After we arrived it got really busy and we got talking to a lady who was a regular as she said too the breakfasts were good.

Went in on a busy football day but we had a spare hour and a half and didn't expect to be served straight away and knew we would have to wait got a seat quite quickly and ordered food drinks came within 10mins after about 40mins we moved seats then noticed people coming in after us was recieving there food orders before us so we asked and the assistant said ours won't be long so waited 15 more mins and asked again after seeing 2 more people getting there food before us we asked again them the assistants and chef started arguing which then we said we wanted our money back and was disgusted with the service we received we knew it was busy but we were willing to wait but we was patient upto a hour anyway something good came out of it we done what we had to do and went back to our hotel and ate in the hotel restaurant and the food was fabulous

My partner and I had an All Day Breakfast and a Great Wimpy. Both were freshly cooked to order - no warm ups in the microwave! Couldn't fault the place. Clean, tidy with friendly staff and good value! We didn't know Wimpy was still in business. We'll be back.

I popped into this Wimpey rather than MacDonald's across the road, for an early dinner prior to a match at the stadium.

Self service only on match days. If your not there 2 hours before the game, good luck to you. Good fairly priced food and good service. Obviously when they are full it takes a lot lot longer to be served. Tables are super tight. If early and want breakfast it’s great value.

A decent breakfast for a fair price. Quick service and the staff is very friendly. A good alternative for the people staying at the hotels around Wembley. Would recommend.

El McDonalds estaba abarrotado, así que nos montamos sobre la carretera al Wimpy. No había estado en años y no sabía qué esperar. No teníamos que habernos preocupado, gran King hamburguesa y patatas fritas (con sal n vinagre) y una taza de té, se sentó en una cabina cómoda, me llevó unos 40 años! Haré un punto de oler y descubrir Wimpy de nuevo en el futuro, no sólo era rápido y recién preparado, que se podían probar la carne y ensalada fresca. Bien hecho Wimpy Wembley re-ern para mi pasión xxx

I have travelled the world and experienced great managed and bad managed restaurants, but this is without question the worst experience EVER, and very disappointing as having come from South Africa and always loved and enjoyed Wimpy as the best for breakfast with their perfect eggs and delicious coffee, Wimpy should honestly take their name off this place. It's a disgrace to the name and brand. The breakfast was all cooked in oil, never seen so much oil on a plate, eggs were nothing like Wimpy's famous perfect sunny side up eggs they were horrific. Then when I sent back they brought out again completely raw egg white. Unbelievable. But to top it all, my son gets presented with a bug crawling out of his food as per images and when we showed the manager he quickly put his finger on it and wiped off my sons plate saying it a piece of the bacon, which when zoomed in has feelers and feet. The bug ended up drowning in the oil. Disgraceful place. Stay healthy and safe, AVOID IT at all costs.

After years of avoiding it, I succumbed to Wimpy and I have to say I was missing out! Very fresh yet fast food puts one up on its competitors. FYI we found best value nearby parking at Empire Way, HA9 0RJ!

I decided to take my nephew here as a pre match something to eat on route to Wembley stadium for his first ever Spurs game, the kick off was at 19.45 and we thought we got here with enough time at 18.20.there was no table service like normal Wimpy's I had to queue up for 10 minutes just to place my order, so I was a little concerned that we would get our food in time for the match.at 7pm still no food and other tables around us were either complaining or leaving without eating in fear of missing the kick off. my nephew who is 7 was getting hungry and anxious, at 19.06 our food arrived, the waiter apologised and offered a free drink but we declined and had to eat our food rapidly which was not ideal. we got to our seats 2 minutes prior to kick off so not the pre match I had envisaged for my nephew who's tummy was hurting due to the speed he had to eat his food.

After a recent visit to Wembley stadium, my family decided to have food at the nearby McDonalds. I however, wanted to try something different. I happened to spot Wimpy just across the road and decided to check it out. On enquiring, I learnt that they did have vegetarian burgers. I asked them to pack me one which they promptly did. I had the burger on the train back to London - it was quite tasty and refreshingly different from the usual Mac. Recommended in case you are visiting Wembley.

I visited a Wimpy with friends before an England game and I can honestly say it was the first time I had set foot in a Wimpy since the late eighties.It really hasn't changed with great service and decent food at decent prices.The burgers are tasty and well presented with a generous portion of chips and all washed down with a strange looking chocolate milkshake which tasted fabulous.Yes the place is a bit rundown but that only adds to the character.If you fancy a bit of Nostalgia get yourself into a Wimpy!

Looks like a fast food outlet. English food choices are good and service is attentive. Have been here a few times, always had "Great Wimpy" with a cup of coffee. Staff are always flexible in making some changes in "Great Wimpy" for my friend. Coffee mugs are beautiful.

We went out of our way to go to wimpy as we remember having wimpy as children. We were not disappointed. Are server was a young lad called samir and he was excellent. Friendly and attentive with all the people there. The food was a trip down memory lane. All cooked to order,hot,and delicious. The puddings were amazing too. I would highly recommend if you are going to Wembley stadium or arena to grab a bite from here.

Fast food on a plate with knives and forks. Burger was lovely. Ideal for a quick bite before or after a game at Wembley. Cash only when we was there dont know if this is the case all the time.

I visited the Wimpy by accident . But I am so glad I did ! I went to the Ed Sheeran Concert. And it was very busy in McDonalds so I went Wimpy.The outsidpe was very dirty and the resturant was very unattractive and most of the chairs were ripped.The food was very nice better then Mc D's .You could taste it was fresh. The Chef kept starring at me and made me uncofortable.The service was great. Sammier served me he was very polite and was very quick serving me and other customers.He is very social.I offered him tips but he persuaded me to spend it in the concert which made me very happy. Overall i loved wimpys experiance becausde of the fresh food and Sammier.I would deffo recomend wimpy to anyone espcially on event day

I have been to Wimpy - various branches. always fresh tasty food. great value.Had a delicious hamburger and a coke today. really enjoyed it.Wimpy is hugely underrated. Waaaay better than McDonalds, Burger king etc.

Have always loved Wimpy since I was a child and unfortunately most of the local ones have closed down (Kingsbury, Harrow, Wealdstone, South Harrow, Rayners Lane etc). The one constant is the one at Wembley and thank god for that. The biggest compliment I can give it is that it always tastes the same. I have eaten in many around England, some great some not so good, however the one in Wembley is my favourite and I still go there regularly. Halfpounder and chips with BBQ sauce is my absolute favourite and they still do brown derbys too. Will be back again on my next day off!

My family and I visited the Wimpey in Peterborough centre on 26th April 2015. It was definitely my worst experience in a restaurant. Within 2 minutes of sitting down the waitress came over to take our order, when we told her we needed more time another waitress came over a minute later. The food was horrible and the service was worse. DO YOUR SELF A FAVOUR AND LOOK IN THE BINS OUTSIDE FOR BETTER FOOD.

Always been keen to try one previous fad known as Wimpy. I took this opportunity when visiting wembley to watch North Shields triumph in the vase. The food was nice and large portions were served. Staff however made the meal uncomfortable, with their constant spectating.

I am a big fan of Wimpy and always eat there whenever I can.I wish there were more restaurants open.Food was delicious. Had a cheeseburger and chips. Good size portion and nicely presented.The restaurant was clean and nice ambiance.Good service.The milkshakes looked very good. I will try next time. Lots of people were having them.Highly recommended.

Abbiamo scoperto questo locale per caso, avendo l'hotel a pochi passi..che dire, la colazione all'inglese qui la mattina era obbligatoria! Rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente, staff cordiale e locale accogliente..da provare assolutamente se siete in zona!!

My dad randomily bought the milkshake home. Was thinking it be OK. But it was amazing, much better then the McD shakes.

I had a bite to eat in here with a friend before a football match kicked off at Wembley.The was a large queue and after a 5-10 minute wait to get to the front desk, I was told there was a 20 minute wait for food. This struck me as odd in a fast food place, but in fairness the place was full. A few people who were in front of me in the queue departed at this point but I held on.The food was cheap and of average quality. However the portion of chips served with the burger was quite large. The only portion gripe I would have is the drink was pretty small, and was long finished before the food arrived. However they didn't attempt to fill the cup half up with ice which all to many places do in an attempt to rip the consumer off these days, so bonus points to them for this.I would suggest when they have large waits it would be polite to provide every customer with a large drink despite their order; it'd cost them a couple of pence and make the customer feel the wait is a little more worthwhile.In all honesty the place looked a little grotty and not as clean as a typical McDonalds restaurant, however the food produced no ill effects, and we managed to sit down and eat on a budget.

Although very busy on Cup Final day coped well with the pressure, service and food was swift considering full of football supporters and quality was good.

On what was likely an event-day at Wembley Park, the McDonald's was rammed, and along with the rest of the overflow, I gave Wimpy's a try. Wimpy's seems to be caught in the purgatory of restaurant formats that no longer work. It's essentially a short-order diner with a burger focus, except that the food is no better than a fast food chain (in fact, I enjoyed it less). The differences are that the wait is four times as long, and the price 50% higher.

I'm a vegetarian and quite fussy as regards eating healthy etc....and normally wouldn't consider eating in a 'fast food burger joint' HOWEVER this Wimpy is excellent. The food is always freshly cooked, the bean burgers and chips are spot on, piping hot, tasty and nourishing. The vanilla milkshake is the best I've had anywhere in the world (and I've been around a bit) and the service is super fast and staff are courteous and friendly.....Frankly you couldn't ask more of a fast food restaurant
