Standard Pret food - mostly excellent, though sharply more expensive now. Atmosphere less appealing, however, with relentless noisy pop music! What’s the matter with silence?

I recently received a cake from Pearl and Groove which had experienced an incident prior to its arrival at my house. I was quite displeased with the overall appearance and did not feel comfortable serving it as was. I had applied a fresh layer of frosting over the cake and made some simple redecoration. I will say, however, the cake itself was delicious and all guests thoroughly enjoyed the cake. When I expressed my disappointment with the cake, I have to say that the staff at Pearl and Groove had gone above and beyond my expectations to remedy the situation. Needless to say, I will be ordering again from Pearl and Groove and I wanted to thank the staff for their generosity to remedy the situation!

“The customer is ALWAYS right”. Have you never heard of this saying considering you operate a coffee shop?! We rocked up for a quick drink prior to a gig in Wembley Stadium on June 29. I asked my husband to hold our chosen table while I nipped to the loo. Immediately I was accosted by the extremely rude and aggressive security guy working the door on June 29 (tall, white, British, unpleasant looking) who told me I couldn’t use the loos until I bought a drink. How dare he assume I wasn’t going to buy a drink?! Would you rather have your customers pee while purchasing a drink?! I explained that my husband was holding the table while I used to loos. He aggressively insisted I should buy a drink prior to sitting down or using the facilities. Is this how your cafe chooses to treat PAYING customers?! I understand you’re right by a big stadium so have a lot of passing traffic but if you’re going to suspiciously assume every patron is solely there to use your dirty toilets and not buy anything, you should NOT be operating next to Wembley stadium as this attitude will lose you genuine customers who you should be trying very hard to hold on to in these economic times! You should be grateful we bought a drink (because we were parched and hot!) despite your rude door security! I hope you go out of business! To slightly prolong your longevity in a market that’s saturated with coffee shops (that serve better coffee!), I suggest you teach your door security guys some basic manners. And most importantly fire that rude guy on a power trip who was “manning” the doors on June 29. I will be making a formal complaint against him to your head office.

Entré en el encantador justo en Fulham Road. Me atrevo a decir que el té de desayuno inglés en Nero's es el mejor que he probado en mi vida, fuerte pero no amargo, picante pero no agrio (sucumbe por completo a otras "marcas de lujo" como los cerdos de té y Twinings). La señora que me sirvió sirvió un poco de leche, así que le pedí amablemente que me hiciera otra con la consecuencia de tener que pagar por otra mientras alcanzaba mi tarjeta. Sin embargo, no se detuvo por un momento, ni me pidió que pagara y rápidamente hizo otro en segundos. No solo eso, sino que ella me sirvió una cantidad generosa de leche en una taza de café nespresso para que yo sirviera. Estaba impresionado, punto final. Eficiente, educado y profesional. Maravilloso. Acababa de llegar de una sesión de estudio intensiva de la compañía rival Pret, por lo que no era mi yo fuerte habitual y procedí a sacar la bolsita de té en el mostrador (donde solía ir al lado pequeño que contiene leche, azúcar, etc.) . Esta encantadora dama sacó un plato (que el lujo de comer en la gente tiene) y me permitió colocar la bolsita de té una vez que terminé. Es una pena que no pueda recordar su nombre para agradecerle individualmente. De todos modos, con suerte de esta revisión, esta sucursal en particular puede obtener reconocimiento y crédito completos para su súper personal y los servicios que brindan.

Great cafe significant improvement since the grumpy miserable old b.....d owner retired. Keep up the good work, lovely staff and food.

1 - they have Heinz ketchup which isn’t Heinz source in it they just re fill it ! 2-waited ages for food 3- food was terrible and I’ve had some bad meals this could be the worst 4- it’s cheap !!! Pay for what you get Will never come again 👍🏼

Gran café, y soy exigente con el café, el personal amable y cuando estuve allí tenían una gran lista de reproducción. No hay muchos asientos, así que prepárate para eso. No probé la comida. (p. No, la novia pensó que el café era demasiado fuerte, así que si te gusta el café débil, díselo al barista)

Por lo general no tenemos problemas con este café, pero en la ocasión de hoy, la señora que trabaja dejó a mi hija de 3 años llorando y fue simplemente grosera desde el principio y tuvo una actitud incómoda. Preguntamos si tenían café descafeinado en el que ella “cusaba los dientes” y contestó “no sé” así que pedimos una pequeña tarrina de helado de vainilla y como no podía molestarse en sacar el helado dijo “¿no puede conseguir otra cosa?”. Claramente esta señora tiene problemas de actitud y el servicio al cliente no es su enfoque clave. Acabas de perder clientes que normalmente usarían tu café. Fecha de visita 9 / 10 / 24

We had a stunning evening at Vagabond Monument with our family on our visit to London back in June. The self service wine is an innovative dispensers are an exciting concept. We tried a vast variety from different corners of the globe. We shared a cheese board which was yummy too. Would highly recommend for groups of friends who want to do something a little bit different, but still have a relaxed afternoon or evening in a comfortable environment.

Called here for coffee. Nice soft sofas and great coffee in a lovely area. Nice atmosphere too. A nice place to sit and watch the world go by away from the busier streets.

Usually this chain is well managed and there is a consistent high standard of quality, service and cleanliness. Not sure what is happening at Holborn but lacking over past few weeks culminating with a very poor experience this week. Unfortunately for the team the computers were down, or at least the display screens, so I suspect they were under some pressure. The areas to collect napkins and cutlery was very dirty with piles of other people's leftovers on the side. There were so many staff serving behind the counter and all shouting over each other, which just added to the noise and lack of coordination. I also noticed that the person serving the soups likes to fill up pots and leave them above the counter which means you often get a less than hot soup if taking away and at worst barely warm. Surely the service is about the customer experience and not what is easy for the staff?

Bacon roll and a coffee, cost £9.50, and nothing special have had much better value in nicer surroundings in other London cafes this year, sorry, but won't be back.
