The best restaurants serving Other cuisines food in Chipping Ongar, Greensted and Marden Ash Epping Forest East of England

We had a table of 8 for my 70th Birthday celebrations and I couldn’t have chosen a better place. I was a little apprehensive but as soon as I met Katherine (Owner) prior to our booking i was immediately drawn to the place. In regard to the food everything I ask for came out onto the table the food was amazing it was so delicious. We chose a Meze starter followed by Salmon, Shish Chicken and Lamb Skewers with the most delicious salads and vegetables and flat breads to die for, we also had Gorgeous Pavlova and a very varied Cheese Board for dessert the presentation was lovely, I honestly think Katherine old mke a boiled egg look pretty. Our food was served by Peter who assisted Catherine and he makes a very good Waiter. There was nothing we could fault and we definitely will be returning hopefully in the not too distant future. I came in at lunch to get a jacket cheese and beans to takeaway. They were super efficient, and the food was well prepared and packed. The price was good as the jacket also came with a side of dressed salad and homemade coleslaw, which was delish! The portions were also really good. When getting home, I also realised they had provided a packet with cutlery, little packs of proper butter, salt, pepper, and mayo! Such a good complimentary condiment selection! Really yummy and will 100% be coming back.

Wow, seriously amazing burgers, out done places like Hard rock cafe. 5 of us had different meals from the menu all great.

I ordered a couple of sandwiches and tea. The tea was very good but the ham and cheese sandwich was a see-through slice of ham with tasteless cheese. The sandwiches were also meant to come with a side salad, coleslaw and crisps but these were not provided. Unfortunately I didn't twig until we'd finished but a poor show on behalf of the staff. I won't be going back.

Found here by accident.Driving back from Cambridge and decided to stop for late Sunday lunch.Excellent food lovely surprise to find such a beautiful property.Have a gazebo so also can cater for weddings/larger parties

I met up with an old mate of many years in Ongar and we were looking for somewhere to get a drink and a bite and we wandered into the two Brewers. We were welcomed by the staff who were really friendly as it seemed were the regulars in there and it was a lovely atmosphere. The service was excellent and the food really lovely and served with a smile. The drinks were plentiful in choice and priced very fairly. I can certainly recommend a visit and I will have no hesitation going back when I am next in the area.

Food good, party of 7 we choose to sit in the garden area as sunny day, but staff neglected to make it clear we couldn't get waitress service. We had to get our own drinks and clear our own table, table booked for 1 but we finally got food served at 2.20. probably only 35 people in the complete pub so why we couldn't get service was confusing just because we sat outside!!. Spent over £350 and they also charged us service charge which we requested back. Anyhow, nice place and setting but if invited to go again by friends would attend but wouldn't go out of my way to go again through choice apart for a quick drink.
