First stop on the way out of Hubberholme when walking. 3 of us had the cream tea; wonderful home made scones with home made jam & lashings of cream- scrumptious Scar House Tea Garden highly recommended.

We had one of Amy's afternoon teas as an Easter treat delivered to work. It was delivered on time, it was well presented, appealing to the eye and the small was lovely. The variety of food, the freshness, colour, smell and best of all taste excelled our expectations. Thank you we'll be ordering again as soon as we can think of another excuse to have one!

Met a colleague for quick meeting, good homemade sandwiches & coffee at very reasonable prices, place well laid out,nice & clean with tables outside.

Tuvimos un gran día de curling en el Peak el 10 de febrero, 4 clubes separados se reúnen para un bonspiel cada año. El hielo estaba en perfecto estado. También tuvimos una comida en el restaurante después. La comida era excelente ya un precio razonable. Una selección de platos principales, con bollos de crema y pasteles a seguir. El personal estaba en la pelota y nos atendieron muy bien, un gran servicio, para los 35 que asistieron. Nos gustaría volver. Bien hecho.

Kristie’s has been used by our family for many years…pies, pasties, CUSTARD SLICES etc. we are very sad that it is closing.

Qué lugar tan encantador para charlar y comer con el personal más amable y excelente comida. Sándwiches. Son los mejores en la zona también hay una pequeña zona para los niños para jugar y una zona de jardín con mesas y sombrillas que uso banco este lugar ya que es una parada de la 111 y R 70 autobuses y genial para dejar en un café recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar con una buena extenso menú, vinos y cervezas

llamamos para probar un poco de whisky y quedamos muy impresionados y el personal muy bueno y amable terminé recibiendo un buen año botella de whisky y agradecimos al personal por un gran momento

Buen pub. Se estableció el distanciamiento social y el sistema unidireccional. Buena selección de cervezas y rones. Servicio muy amable.

cent to this place upon recommendation from a work colleague , Tried the Avocado Chicken and bacon focaccia sandwich and loved it , so today went back for more .. This time i had the Hot salt beef sandwich with mustard and gherkins again in Tomato Focaccia bread , And WOW ! , The beef was so tender and flavorsome , The gherkins gave a nice crunch to the sandwich and the mustard ( Colmans English) added the bite. Id happily eat this everyday. Nice one Munchies

This is a hidden gem of Withington village now tucked between two corporate Giants both within yards of its front door. Beautiful smoothies and food including bagels and ice cream, and a colourful, chilled, ambient interior. Lovely charming place to bring children. The staff are all lovely, down to earth people. Whilst the cafe now faces even sterner competition, the coffee here really holds it own and I would say it is actually better and is less expensive. Please support small local business to keep great unique places like this open and thriving. Stopped on Sunday afternoon for a drink. Lovely spot by the canal and the best hot choclate I've had in a long time. Nice to find somewhere at the end of a walk down the canal, has a good selection of food on the menu, previously tried the breakfast which was tasty will be going back to try for lunch 😊
