YMCA White House in Richmond upon Thames

What a lovely place for a chat and eat with the most friendly staff and excellent food.. sandwiches are the best in the area too There is a small area for kids to play in and a garden area with Bench tables and Sunshades I use this place a lot as it is a stop off by the 111 and R70 Buses and great to drop in for a coffee I Highly recommend this place with a good extensive menu, wines and beers

I attended the YMCA White house recently with my circle of 7 friends, we were getting together for lunch. The cafe and garden was fairly busy with people enjoying the sunshine, although it was busy we didn't have to wait for our orders to be taken. The staff (Russell and Dawn) were very attentive and friendly towards us which was lovely. Our food was brought to our table within a few minutes, we ordered a variety of foods including a Salad, Chicken Sandwich with side salad and a Tuna Jacket potato. The food was very well presented and freshly made while we waited, it was very tasty and enjoyable. We sat in the garden after with our drinks 4 Lattes (creamy and tasty as a Latte should be), the garden was very well maintained with a relaxing atmosphere. The prices in the cafe were very reasonable and affordable which was great. Overall we as a group of friends had a lovely afternoon there and will be returning very soon. There is also lots to do in the centre, activities and fitness classes which we will be checking out soon too.
