I had heard good words of this place from friends and colleagues and intended for months to make my own mind up. I eventually got there, with my wife, for brunch today. I was delighted that, because the local market was not on today, I could easily park, for free, nearby. Malones looks very fresh and is eclectically furnished, for instance by clocks on the wall all showing different times. It is owned/ run by a young lady named Francesca, who was on hand to prepare our order. The menu is basically in two parts. Firstly, breakfast. You can either choose one or two set options, or build your own. Plenty of black- puddings on offer, but I , personally, would like to see, fried bread and hash browns on offer. The other part of the menu is more geared towards dinner, with toasties, panini and the like. I chose a club toastie which came promptly, and consisted of chunks of chicken, bacon, lettuce tomato and side of salad and crisps. My wife chose a similar cheese toastie, which she described as “ two- tone” cheese. Both were very tasty and hit the spot. We had a very avant- garden teapot with tea in IKEA cups, also very palatable.

Bazza's Breakfast Bar is an excellent spot for a bite to eat. The prices are affordable, and the owners are very welcoming.

Came here for the first time, usually go to Kaspas down the road but the service isn’t the best, the lad serving was really helpful and made us some amazing waffles! Doughnuts looked great too. My boyfriend got the mini s’mores cookie dough and it looked amazing, cute little shop everyone should try for a treat :)

Arrived at 12.00 and was told there was a 45 minute wait. No problem and there was an empty table for two. We asked a member of staff for coffees while we waited. A lovely young girl, who when my friend asked her told us she is 14, came and took our food order, which came well within the 45 minutes. We were both going to have Royale Eggs Benedict but no smoked salmon so we changed it to chorizo Benedict. It was delicious. I have been before and it’s always been good. The young waitresses are really attentive and their customer service is excellent.
