By far the best tacos I’ve had! The service is top-notch—the guys are super friendly, and the whole team is so talented and welcoming. The vibe is super chill, and the prices are a steal compared to Hackney or anywhere else in East London. I’m definitely making this my new go-to spot for tacos. Can’t wait to come back!

Recently ordered the chicken tandoori wrap from here via uber and it came very quickly under half an hour and was still hot and the flavours were simply wonderful with the mango and chutney alongside the rice and chicken in a very full wrap which finished off the meal very well. A must visit. 10/10

Friends brought us here for their repeat visit to L'Autre. I can understand why. It's a unique establishment. The name came from it's French inception but specializes in Polish cuisine and interestingly enough Mexican. Their are not a load of Mexican dishes on the menu but it is fun to mix sausage topped nachos (which were excellent), borscht, pate and pierogis together as a group share. This is an intimate restaurant that pays tribute to England but also the great contributions Poles have given to the country. A sombrero on the shelf harkens to the days when staff from the once nearby Mexican embassy used to frequent the restaurant and request things like, well sausage topped nachos. We had a lovely visit topped off by some of the many flavored vodkas offered. My friends by the way returned for a third meal here. The magic works.

Really good Mexican food, I have been in Mexico with my boyfriend and I have to say that although it is very difficult to find authentic Mexican food like in the place of origin, this restaurant offers quite decent options such as huarache or michoacan style carnitas

We stayed one night on February 24, returning to our hotel and looking for a place to have a quick dinner. At first we hesitated to go in because it was empty. We saw the reviews on Google and decided to take a chance.😍😍Very good service and great food. Cheap for London. I have to say that we were eating looking out the window and talking and when we realized the place was full of residents in the neighborhood collecting their messes for dinner.

Excellent Mexican food, very well presented and large. You can also order a wide range of local and Mexican drinks. The atmosphere is accompanied by Latin music, with soft lighting that helps you eat comfortably. Very complete desserts as they have the adjacent establishment that supplies them, although they are not typical Mexican. The prices sting a little.

Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the £17 I had a frustrating experience here during my lunch break, and it’ll definitely be my first and last visit. I ordered a chicken burrito, expecting a warm, satisfying meal, but what I received was closer to a cold, flavorless lettuce wrap. I even paid extra for guacamole and beans, yet no beans to be found —and isn’t it standard for a burrito to include beans? The menu didn’t mention lettuce, yet it was overwhelmingly full of it, making it feel more like a salad wrap than a burrito. Service only added to the disappointment. I waited longer than several newer tables around me, even though I was just getting a quick takeaway. I was directed to pay outside, which felt odd. Then, when I accidentally sat at a table in the neighboring restaurant, a staff member suggested I find a park bench instead, making it clear they didn’t want me sitting there. To top it all off, I paid £17 for this “burrito” that arrived lukewarm, with no carry bag, making it awkward to carry it. Overall, it felt like a total waste of money. Avoid!

I recently attended an event at The Nest atop Treehouse Hotel, and it was an exceptional experience. The space boasts a relaxed, rustic charm, with greenery and natural elements throughout, creating an atmosphere that feels both cosy and sophisticated. The 360-degree wraparound terrace is undoubtedly a highlight, offering breathtaking views of the London skyline that enhance any gathering, whether for a casual meet-up or a more formal event. The food and drinks were impressive, focusing on seasonal ingredients and sustainable practices, which added a unique touch. The cocktails, crafted with in-house syrups and bitters, were refreshing and thoughtfully prepared, pairing perfectly with the atmosphere. With DJs spinning subtle tunes in the evening, the ambiance was lively yet intimate, ideal for unwinding while taking in the city lights. The Nest’s staff were attentive, making sure the event went smoothly, and the location is incredibly accessible, just a short walk from Oxford Circus. Whether you’re visiting for an event or simply to enjoy a stunning view over a drink, The Nest delivers a memorable experience right in the heart of London.
