I am leaving this review as supportive criticism. I love the Mexican grill and have never had issues before with other meals I've ordered in the past. The staff are also really lovely people. Mexican grills' food is usually absolutely amazing; however, we ordered chicken fajitas and the chicken was so tasteless, a little spicy but completely bland. We couldn't smell or taste any cumin whatsoever (in my opinion, cumin is the main scent/flavour to chicken fajitas) the cheese was also mozzarella which is confusing (as mozzarella is Italian) and totally disappointing as mozzerella is tasteless also. Also the portion of condiments, i.e. salsa, lettuce (with about 2 strands of carrot?), cheese, soured cream, and avocado (not guacamole), were VERY small. Definitely need more salad and cheese. Salsa, soured cream and avocado was okay portion size. So please make slight changes to your chicken fajitas, add cumin to the chicken seasoning and replace the mozzerella cheese with strong cheddar. Here is a helpful seasoning mix for the best chicken fajitas which will keep customers coming back for more! <3: •Chilli powder •Cumin •Garlic powder •Paprika •Dried oregano •Salt and Pepper. I hope this review reaches the staff at Mexican grill as it was once a fabulous restaurant. Much love.

We waltzed through the door with a rumbling sound, Stomachs all grumbly, no patience to be found. Las Iguanas, oh what a delight— We came for the food, we stayed for the night. First came the wings, saucy and hot, We battled for the biggest—winner took the lot. Then those ribs—oh baby, come here! Sticky little legends that brought us to cheer. Cocktails arrived like a tropical dream, One looked like a rainbow, one had whipped cream?! We sipped, we slurped, we toasted with flair, Each drink more ridiculous than a flamingo's hair. 🦩🍹 And Caitlin—our hero, the star of the show, Zooming through tables with that legendary glow. She knew what we needed before we did, Even found us napkins for the rib sauce we hid. We laughed, we licked fingers, we lived like kings, On a throne made of cocktails, ribs, and wings. So cheers to the night, to the flavors that zing— Las Iguanas, you spicy, magical thing!

We always eat at Las Iguanas when we stay at Centreparcs and usually have a great experience, unfortunately when we visited on Wednesday it was anything but. We were informed that there would be a half an hour wait for food which ended up being nearly an hour. The service was very good but the food was not up to the standard we have come to know. The menu was on the light side, different to when we came here last in January. I had the chicken fajita, it was not served up in its usual stack but on a plate, crammed with all the components. The chicken was just grilled and overdone and placed on top of the fajita peppers and onions which didn’t taste like fajita at all. I also ordered a side of fries and they were just awful. They were not hot and had gone soggy - inedible. The burgers were burnt and the curly fries were all broken into little bits. It cost us £125 for 4 adults and one child, and we only ordered soft drinks. I just think that if there’s a problem in the kitchen and you wait up to an hour, at least the food that comes out should be great, especially for the price you pay. It’s a shame as we all felt that we wouldn’t go here again.

I dont even know where to start. Not to be rude but i really cannot understand how the ratings are so high. I saw a bunch of reviews beforehand saying the food is shop bought and frozen and i didnt believe it because the ratings are so high but unfortunately those reviews are accurate. Everything is frozen and shop bought and no amount of explanation will convince me otherwise. The salsa is the exact same as they sell in Tesco, same with the garlic bread. I was in shock. Everything tasted like it had come straight from the freezer or a container. Appetizers were so bad we didn't even order mains. Drinks were 10/10 though so i'd come back for that only. I asked for chilli sauce as the food had no flavour and they brought me that vinegar based chill sauce, you know the cheap stuff that you get in kebab shops? That was the final straw for me. What makes it worse is the price point! I dont mind paying a premium for good food but paying as much as they charge for frozen slop is just not good enough. The guy who served us was nice enough but it took a while to get anybodies attention as when we walked in they were all around the back which i couldn't quite understand. in terms of the restaurants ratings, the only thing that makes sense to me is just how low peoples standards are for food because i could have done a better job at home by myself.
