TEX MEX PREMIUM STREET FOOD in Portsmouth

Our experience fell short of expectations. Despite enticing descriptions, the food failed to impress. To add to the disappointment, a fly was found in the milkshake lid, the chicken burger was as hard as a rock, the chicken wrap arrived cold, and the sweet potato fries were overcooked. Although the service was slow, the staff attempted to make amends by offering two complimentary bottles of drink and expressing sincere apologies (hence stars given) However, the overall experience was still a letdown. Despite reaching out to express our disappointment, the response received was a simple apology with no offer to replace the unsatisfactory items. With a total of £70, we will not be returning!

Food was hot, fresh and really tasty will 100% be returning for the burger again as the sauce was awesome

Cold food delivery. Nachos, burrito, churros freezing cold. All sides are tiny nacho sauce for example is tiny, not enough to cover a fraction of the freezing cold nacho supplied. Burrito is over stuffed with rice, and what ever meat and seasoning was in there was bland and freezing cold! Ordered through Uber eats. So probably hear back in March 2028, anyway, may be a bad night for them, but I won’t be reordering

Staff were great, but the food was just weird. It was more like sweet and sour chicken than Mexican. Not unpleasant, but definitely not what I'd call Mexican or Tex Mex.

We ordered the beef burrito with sweet potato chips, the halloumi salad, and two drinks, and then, to our pleasant surprise, we got a generous portion of BBQ chicken thigh and breast for FREE – an unexpected and delightful treat! The food at Tex-Mex was delicious. The beef burrito was flavorful and satisfying, perfectly complemented by the sweet potato chips that were crispy and delectable. The halloumi salad was fresh and savory goodness. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere in Tex Mex Premium Street Food was inviting and pleasant. Overall, the food was delicious, the staff was accommodating, and the dining atmosphere was pleasant.

Avoid - I for one will never eat anything from here again. Low quality ingredients, food was clearly reheated or kept warm, cheese was just a solid fatty mess, whole order inedible, threw majority away just vile. And to top it off the small amount eaten made us very sick later in the evening!

Easy to order. Got the order right as we changed a few of the ingredients. Got an online discount. Was kept up to date for delivery. Delivery driver was very friendly. Food was really tasty and very good portion size. All in all very happy customer. Will go again.

If you eat one meal in Cosham while your out, please, bless yourself with the Lamb Chops with Lebanese sauce from here. Yes slightly more expensive then I'd normally treat myself to, but wow what a truly tasty experience. I'll be back again definitely, thank you

Sorry for the late review! Amazing place - service was awesome and myself and daughter had a great wee feast. Food was phenomenal and we were stuffed for hours after. The chef was lovely, engaged with us both and made us feel very welcome. We'll definitely be back if we find ourselves in Portsmouth again 👍

Staff were very welcoming and friendly. I had the sharing strips platter (did not share!) Plus 2 additional side and everything was delisious would definitely return any try something else as all of the meals people had looked great.

Just eaten in here tonight food was lovely service was great everyone enjoyed their meal (13 of us)very reasonably priced only draw back they don’t serve alcohol. However off licence across the road they are happy for you to bring a beer in from over the road would definitely come back if in Cosham again

Working away and staying close by and had an early dinner here the other day. Had the half grilled chicken meal,bargain at £8.99 and imo better than the more famous Piri piri place. Sant recommend it enough. Fantastic food well presented,certainly not your average chicken shop. Also do me in street food too and other options. Will certainly be back during my time here. 😍

Amazing delicious food and very friendly and kind staff, we had beef burritos 🌯 and they were absolutely banging. Good value and so much variety on the menu, I would recommend this place to anyone! Don’t know what the hell any bad reviews are on about, they obviously didn’t eat at the same place as me!! (Won’t let me add pictures for some reason) I will say they could’ve put meat in the burritos but oh well xx

Had a great experience at this restaurant. The Tex-mex burger was delicious and very unique, and the customer service was top-notch. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure that we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for great Mexican cuisine and excellent customer service.

101% lovely food and service was fab. It is a small place but worth every penny. 😍 my total fave is their hot chicken wings. Also, do not miss out the creamy lushly milkshakes. To be honest I give my 🙌 to their crispy fries. It is so crispy you cannot stop eating it. 😍 we defo come back for more. Looking forward to try their tacos soon 😍

Boss man behind the counter was really kind and helpful, I wasn’t aware that there was a discount by ordering on the website but he gave me the discount anyway even though I ordered at the restaurant. Food quality is what I expected from a take away restaurant on the high street so I wasn’t disappointed with it. Burrito, fries and a coke came to just over a tenner so I would definitely recommend this place as it’s good value for money.

The restaurant was clean and everyone was very friendly both times we've eaten there. Portions are big, and everything we ordered matched the description in the menu. Everything was delicious, and even our picky kids loved their dinners!

Came back due to the good first experience. Enjoyed another burger, chicken, wrap, and ice cream. My kids loved the crispy chips.

Had a lovely time with my very dear friends at Tex Mex. From the vegan salad that's so amazing and really tasty to the lemon & herb chicken wings that's so unbelievably delicious. I also highly recommend their texmex burger which i really enjoyed so much. The waffle and ice cream dessert was spectacular too. All in all it was a cosy experience and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Its a 10/10 experience for me. Highly recommended.Thank you guys.

Celebrated my friend's birthday in this place. Chicken platter wings were delicious. Chips was the best I'd had. Sweetheart burger was yummy and a complimentary heavenly dessert from the owner. Will definitely come back or recommend this place.

Just visited this place for the first time absolutely unbelievably terrible. I ordered half a chicken and got 2 back legs. Not only that i arsked for motzzarella cheese sticks for a extra and the only extra i got was a hair in it. Then also got over charged buy £4. Better of with a ham sandwich 🥪 stay away people it will be shut down quicker than it opened

Always hoped to find a decent Tex Mex near us. Severely disappointed. Food was bland, very little meat and most tasted like it had been reheated in the Microwave. Bland - you can’t add flavor by just adding huge amounts of chilli! Also missing items from order. Won’t buy from here again - save your money (you will need to spend a lot of it to eat from here!)

ordered Tacos( which is so yum) Lebanese & herb grilled chicken with Majboos rice and I swear that you won’t regret it! Its delicious , mouthwatering 🤤 after having a long day at work my husband & I went straight here to grab dinner 🥰 deserving to have good food 😛 plus Abu the owner gave us free milkshakes 😍 Thank you and surely will come back again 😌

Absolute shambles of a place. Please do not waste your money on these reheated, overpriced canned foods. Trying and failing dismally to copy well known Mexican food brands. Tiny portions, nothing fresh reheated mince and rice and guacamole from a squeeze bottle. Really awful
