Stellar vibes, wonderful staff, great food. Visited on a Sunday evening looking for something off the beaten path. It wasn’t busy, but the staff made me feel at home. Barman Alex, bartender Ellie, and chef Ethan made my day. I wish I could take this place, put it in my pocket, and take it with me.

One of the few places I’m Sheffield that sell bottles of Pacifico. Great atmosphere and friendly bartenders. It’s a shame they’re not open more often! Shoutout to Lee and Alex for being amazing people with great energy.

Alex, Levi, Kyle, and all the chefs are top notch. Always make us feel welcome and happy. We always come here when we come to Sheff. It's a must, and a prebook must as they are not shy about turning away walk in if they're full!

We held our wedding here. Great location, amazing food - catered to our guests with multiple requirements with no trouble at all. Accommodated everyone, including our disabled guests. Genuinely made sure that we and everyone who came had everything they needed and more. Staff are so lovely (& make a banging cocktail!) - nothing was too much for them. A big thanks to Ri who coordinated everything for us, we genuinely barely lifted a finger and we really appreciate the hard work it must’ve taken to pull off. We owe everyone there a drink ♥️

Amazing food and amazing drinks

Now my favourite place for food in Sheffield, literally the best tacos I've ever had in Sheffield and maybe even the UK (!) The frozen cocktails are amazing as well - thanks so much to the dude with long hair at the bar whose name I forgot to ask for (sorry!) for making us feel so welcome and for giving us a couple of frozen pina colada shots to apologise as a big group arrived just after us and ordered their food before we got a chance so our food took longer than expected, which was a lovely gesture... The food was also 100% worth the wait! The meat is beautiful, the corn tortillas are fab, the consomme that comes with the quesa birria tacos is like heaven, the guac is fresh and zingy, fries seasoned to perfection and the pineapple scotch bonnet salsa and coconut creme that come with the jerk chicken tacos are so different and delicious. The place has a really nice vibe in general too even down to the playlist in the background. We'll be back soon for more taco tastiness for sure 🌮

Came here a few times but was really disappointed with the most recent times visit. The food wasn't as delicious as previously, the tacos were overcooked; cocktail was premade. The food and cocktail didn't match the prices.

Tucked away in a corner of Kelham, Sheffield, this unsuspecting Mexican bar serves up some of the most delightful and delicious tacos I’ve ever had the pleasure of tasting on these British isles. Its strength is its short but explosive taco and cocktails menu, allowing its chefs to create authentic and vibrant dishes each time. My word of advice to Piña would be to fully embrace table service in their somewhat sophisticated setting. Top picks; Tacos Pescado and Picante Marg.

What a lovely experience. A great atmosphere and the team at Pina couldn’t have been more accommodating if they’d tried. The food and cocktails were interesting, carefully executed and well presented. Raquel found her happy place!

I booked the whole venue for my 50th Birthday party. All I can say is what a fantastic night! All the staff were amazing but a special mention for Rianna who was just brilliant as my point of contact when organising the event. Food was fantastic, Atmosphere was great and the DJ was brilliant. Highly recommended.

Excellent cocktails & tacos (we had the beef & pork), friendly staff & very quick service but we found it very expensive for what it was.

Myself and three friends called into Pina on Saturday evening after being recommended by a family member. We called for a few drinks but would have potentially eaten there too had the customer service not been appalling. The bar/ restaurant was busy as it was a Saturday evening, there was however available seating on other tables , numerous tables for six occupied by two people, we asked a couple occupying a table for 6 if they had any issue with us sitting on their table, the couple were absolutely fine and no issue at all. We literally had just sat down and were rudely informed by management that we had been told three times ( news to me ) we couldn’t sit there as the table was occupied. I challenged the lady stating we were courteous and had asked of the couple minded we sat there but was told that’s not the point, we had been told there was no room and apparently my behaviour was intimidating! I never raised my voice I was polite at all times and quite frankly flabbergasted at the whole situation. We were informed whilst stood there with a bottle of Prosecco that the only available seating was outside in the beer garden. It was literally freezing cold and my friend didn’t have a jacket with her. It might have been useful to have been informed prior to purchasing our drinks that the only available seating was outside , but it would seem Pina would rather take your money and offer incredibly rude and poor service instead. Customer service at its worst and table management very poor. We had been in SALT earlier which has a similar set out in terms of benches for seating and had no such issue. Horrendous attitude from management and myself and friends would 100% not recommend this place.

I live locally and come here every couple months. They used to do weeknight specials for food and drink. My partner and I were at a loss for what to cook one night and decided to go have some tacos and a couple drinks instead. We were surprised to find the menu is more limited than it was in the past and the prices have increased (like everywhere at the moment). Portion sizes have increased ever so slightly (you get 3 tacos for about £14-£15 now, rather than 2 for £9-10) and they give you a tiny pot of salsa and approximately 5 pathetic tortilla chips. Anyways, a small amount of food and 3 cocktails + 1 bottle of beer left us with a bill of approx. £80+ quid which felt a bit steep for a casual Wednesday night. I asked about the weeknight discount on food (which I had seen while scrolling through their social media) and was told they don't offer it anymore. If it was better value, this would be an occasional weeknight no brainer, but now I don't think I'd go back.

I had my 40th party at Pína on Saturday night on the mezzanine floor. From beginning to end from booking to the actual night the staff at Pina were great. Really relaxed and informal, which was one of the reasons I wanted my party here but was also just the general vibe of the night. The tacos on the night looked lovely, presented really well and everyone said they were very tasty. Unfortunately I didn’t get one as they were all snapped up by my guests but I’ll be returning very soon to make up for it! Thank you for an amazing night! ❤️

Thought we'd try somewhere new for date night, and Piña was great! The food was really tasty (tho a bit pricey for the portion size) and we really enjoyed everything. The staff were lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. Cocktails were fantastic 👌

A great venue which I love coming to but it’s spoilt as every time I’ve been the door staff have been rude and arrogant, even when I’ve had a booking. I appreciate that things may get busy inside and that availability may only be outside, however politeness costs nothing…

Really nice tacos, just very expensive for what you get. It would be good if the vegan optional tacos had a vegan sour cream or other item added, rather than just removing the non vegan item from it. The frozen margaritas were good too :)

Turned up for some tacos (which were amazing) and ended up taking part in their weekly quiz which was by far the best I’ve ever been to. Great food, great drinks (IPAs especially good) and amazing service from staff. Felt like an old school independent bar which remembered that the point of a night out is for people to have fun. Stick it on your Thursday night plans!

The benches outside were a bit rickety to sit on and the food menu is very limited to tacos and a few sides, so if you want anything more than tacos, you're better off going to one of the other Mexicans in town with a fuller menu. A decent drinks selection though and a nice atmosphere.

Piña is a really fun venue with great drinks and food. They have a selection of keg beers on offer as well as a wide variety of cocktails. The food is also tasty - I ordered 3 tacos and a side which was a good portion. The DJ worked super hard and played a great selection of disco tunes. A great venue for drinks and food in Kelham Island.

Absolutely delicious food, staff were really nice and I will be recommending this place to everyone. Great place to celebrate my birthday, for how fresh and high quality the food is I don’t think it’s overpriced at all !

Loved it. The food was excellent and the cocktails equally as good. We tried a few different tacos and they were all delicious with a decent amount of filling. I'd say that it's a teeny tiny bit overpriced at £9 for 2 tacos and they're quite small, but I think they're worth it, just about! We had some loaded fries too which were fantastic. I had the Picante cocktail (2 of them!) which are made with hot sauce and jalapeños. It's a bit different but very nice. The venue is cool and has an industrial vibe, which is my thing so I enjoyed being here. We'll definitely be visiting again. In total it cost £73 for 4 cocktails, 6 tacos and 1 portion of loaded fries. I recommend a visit.

Booked here as the food looked interesting and we do love a margarita - and were happy we did. . top dishes were beautiful braised beef tacos and crab tostadas. Made with care and thought. Nice old warehouse building with groups and couples, lively for a Friday meal. Only one pudding on the menu though...come on you need more than that!!!!

Such a great friendly place. Went for drinks and after getting extremely, extremely(!) peckish late on and the very kind and gracious lady behind the bar knocked us up some tortillas and dips even after the kitchen had closed.

Bring the corn ribs back... Lamb was very dry Loved this place when we came in november but this time was very disappointing, fix it please

What an odd little place. Lively bar area with a good atmosphere and music but when you order food things start to go downhill. Passive aggressive short barman sternly questioning your booking, an hour wait for our food, staff telling us items have run out and then-said items turning up at the table. Kitchen looked in total chaos. Nice venue, what a shame

Absolutely appalling staff. Just outright rude (with the exception of the front of house guy who was excellent). Food reasonable value vs quality but the disgusting attitude of the stuff means I’ll never eat here again and advise you don’t either

Loved the food, it is authentic and delicious and the Mexican fruit sorbet was to die for. The service was great and after we had eaten there was a DJ and a great atmosphere at the bar.

AVOID FOR BOTTOMLESS BRUNCH From the moment we started ordering our drinks we were made to feel uncomfortable by staff, the cocktails take a while to arrive but they wouldn't allow us to order until the cocktails where finished so we spent more time sat waiting for drinks than actually drinking. The food was average. The whole evening we were made to feel a burden and we felt awkward throughout. At the end of the evening I did advise staff very nicely how they had made us feel which then turned into a very uncomfortable argument, as instead of them taking our feedback on board we were advised that we weren't following the rules and they aren't a chain restaurant and can't be giving us cocktails upon cocktails.....if that's the case don't have a bottomless brunch option. The conversation got so heated as they were being very defensive that another member of staff had to come over to check everything was OK. For the amount of cocktails we actually had in the end would have been cheaper just to have a meal and cocktails.

It's an ok place and the atmosphere is nice but what a shame that the prices are double than what they should be, there's not much choice for food - 4 or 5 things on the menu and they also add a huge service charge on your bill without asking! Be careful if you're not expecting to spend a lot of money in this place cause you will! 2 super tiny tacos £11.5, charged me £6 for a cider though they didn't have it and brought me Corona instead. And to add £7.28 service charge when in other places you can get a meal with this money..just outrageous. Unfortunately we only realised after we paid, because they didn't let us know... The service is quite slow although the portions are very small. The music was nice, but too loud to have any sort of conversation and there is no dance floor so we were either shouting or just staring at each other. It does look like a nice place, but we will not be returning because of the outrageous prices, tiny portions and service charge.

Sorry to leave this bad review, but this plays is super basic food so over priced for what u get. I ordered a main, (two tacos) and was not too shocked at the price till it came and it was the smallest tacos I've ever had in my life, literally a bite and a half per taco and ur done, cant imagine how small the starter are. Secondly, i ordered a cider which was 6 quid, fair enough thats a bit pricy but then the guy brought it out and it was a half! I clarified are u sure thats right and yes it was.

Fantastic bottomless brunch. The staff were really friendly. The cocktails were delicious. Watch out for the piccante margarita - it's not messing about.

What poor service. Staff member was rude from the minute we’d been seated. Not friendly or welcoming. Slight misunderstanding with regards to the 2-4-1 offers displayed which could’ve been resolved in a friendly manner but staff member was rude about it. Have been prior to this and enjoyed it here but after today will not be going again.

Popped in on the way home and had a little boogie, never been before but would definitely go again. The Piña coladas are the best I've ever had and the espresso martini was really strong. Was interested in their bottomless brunch but put me off that cocktails aren't included

The tacos were really nice but the place wasn't what I expected. Small portions and quit expensive for what you're getting, and the isn't much of a choice for food. I'd recommend it as a place for drinks with small plates rather than a place to go for tea

I have always been a big fan of Pina mainly because of the fun vibes and food, I have visited countless times and have been a loyal customer for years. Unfortunately the last few visits have been disappointing and yesterdays visit confirmed that I won’t be visiting again. I visited with some friends for the quiz and a simple misunderstanding became quite an ordeal and stressful experience. My friend thought that tacos and cocktails could be mixed in the weekday offer, she has visited before and staff have allowed this, it also says 2 for 15 cocktails and tacos on the wall and doesn’t specify that you can’t mix and match. When we received the bill it didn’t add up so my friend enquired with bar staff and they responded by saying they’ll check with the manager. Within minutes the manager approached our table and before asking about the situation he was extremely rude and confrontational, we were really taken aback and shocked by his response. We were more than happy to pay for more cocktails to rectify the deal but before listening and exploring the misunderstanding we were confronted in a way that I can only describe as belittling. I’m not sure if the manager had been drinking because the response was arrogant and unusual for management in hospitality- as someone who’s worked in hospitality for years I have a good understanding of the industry. The manager was incredibly defensive and after we had the time to speak to him about the situation, he told us that the girls behind the bar told him my friend had been rude and had to get him for support- this totally wasn’t the case. The whole thing was unprofessional and unnecessarily dramatic. The girls behind the bar seemed lovely and we were surprised by what he said. We were sober, apologetic and more than willing to foot the bill, it really didn’t need to be a big issue, we were just confused by the numbers after receiving this deal previously. In the end the bill was discounted for the misunderstanding, however manners and an apology for the experience would’ve been more appreciated. This totally ruined the night for us. In addition to this I received poor customer at a bottomless brunch the other month but overlooked it as I thought it was a one off. I paid £40 and received only 3 drinks, the wait time was really long and the member of staff’s response when we told them we’d been waiting over 30 minutes for a drink was ‘it’s not a race’. It would’ve been cheaper to buy the drinks and food separately. We didn’t complain because we didn’t want to be those annoying customers, but after yesterdays experience I think necessary to share.

Has this place been taken over? Genuinely so disappointed. This place used to be so good. With fresh quality food. However, everything seems to have changed. Slow service, seriously over-priced food for the quality. £11.50 for two small tacos - made up of mostly fat and gristle in the beef. £5 for a side of fries… I wouldn’t mind if they were homemade with good quality ingredients. It was also really cold inside for our entire visit. And to top it off, service charge of over £10 on the bill. If the service is good I’ll leave a tip - but, I hate it being added to the bill and having to awkwardly ask to have it removed.

Wasn't super impressed with Pina. We booked a table for 12 and the staff were not very accommodating or helpful. The food is tasty, but very overpriced and took around an hour to arrive. It was also very cold in there. The music was good and the atmosphere lovely.

The tacos are OK, but not as good as they used to be or what you get in the USA. Very overpriced for what they are, £12+ for two. Beware they also add a 10% service charge, which they are allowed to do under the Sale of Goods (and services) act, but it's unusual outside of London and I think should be illegal. The price you see should be the price you pay, as it is with everything else in life. If they want to charge more and give it to the staff, increase the prices and pay the staff more. That would be transparent. My main gripe is the music, it's terrible autotune type trash. My ears won't forgive if I return here. Also, their roof is completely uninsulated, you can see the tiles. So all the heat goes straight outside in the winter. So it was cold and must be costing them a fortune! Some insulation=more competitively priced tacos.

This place is absolutely fantastic. I've been twice and both times it's been genuinely excellent. From the lovely staff who clearly care about what they do, to the excellent quality cocktails to the delicious food. Wouldn't hesitate to recomment and will definitely be back.

Birria tacos are some of the best in Sheffield and score high on the master tier-list. A must try.

Arrived at Pina mid afternoon to the warmest of welcomes. Cocktails and beer arrived promptly and then a wonderful array of spiced fries with a lemon and chili sauce which was fabulous, loaded nachos, beef brisket tacos and chicken tacos for us all to share. Every mouthful was divine. Another round of drinks, a chat with friendly staff and we were good to go. What a great way to spend a couple of hours. If you go in winter, wrap up warmly as Pina is a hard place to heat. They are considerate and supply blankets for anyone feeling chilly - shame so many of the blankets had been stolen the night before by thieving customers not feeling the Christmas spirit. Would we go back? Absolutely, can't wait.

Birthday celebration in the upper section. Innovative but now common use of former industrial space. Little bit expensive in drinks for me but I suppose par for the course. Could find no real fault with the place. Staff friendly

We were lucky enough to celebrate our engagement party here and we couldn’t have wished for a better venue. We dealt with Benji prior to the event who was super helpful and friendly made sure everything ran as smoothly as possible for us. On the night, all of the staff again were extremely friendly and fun and really made the night for us - so many of our family and friends commented on how great they were. The tacos and cocktails - WOW! If you haven’t tried them yet then you need to. They’re the best tacos we’ve had and we’ve been to Mexico multiple times. Can’t remember much about the cocktails (as I had too many) but I know they tasted amazing at the time. Thanks again Benji and the rest of the team - can’t wait to come party with you all again soon. some friends booked bottomless brunch here which costs £40 per head. this only represents value if you're drinking alcohol, and even then it's pretty pricey (there are other places nearby that do a bottomless brunch for cheaper & with nicer food). the food was a starter + a taco main. the mushroom quesadilla as the starter was really good, but some of the other options were less inspiring. (one friend had "corn ribs", which was just a corn cob cut into quarters and cooked with some spices on. there is no way this costs more than £1 to make, so they are ripping you off here.) I opted for a fish taco as my main, advertised as a piece of tempura battered fish in a soft taco shell, to see what it would be like, and the answer is that it's like two things which absolutely do not go together. some of my friends enjoyed their other tacos though, so I guess you could get lucky in the taco tombola, which is how I imagine the menu was put together. a friend also asked if it would be possible to have tacos with flour tortillas instead of corn ones, and was told no, despite the quesadillas being made with flour tortillas. this seems like a really stupid thing not to compromise on, and I'm not sure how they would deal with it if someone was genuinely allergic / intolerant. the brunch drinks menu seemed randomly restrictive, and while most of the cocktails were pleasant enough, they serve something called a spicy paloma which has an initial mild grapefruit taste, followed immediately by an aftertaste of enough chilli flakes to kill a small animal. this is unpleasant, and everyone at the table brave enough to try it agreed. the staff were friendly & accommodating (aside from the strict tortilla rules), but I don't think I'd come and eat here again because it is just way too expensive for what you get, especially if you were paying full menu prices.

We travelled down from Leeds specifically for Pina's Tacos (must try the beef with jalapeno consume!!), tequila and mescal. Absolutely top notch with cool, knowledgeable staff... Top draw. .thanks guys and girls 👍

A fantastic experience. The drinks were excellent - tried a variety of draught beer and cocktails. Food was excellent - had a couple of starters, a couple of tacos and churros to finish .There is clearly a lot of craft and care gone into the food. Despite all this, the star of the show is the staff - they are welcoming and helpful.

The food was really nice, service was great, very attentive. Tried all the tacos that they offer on the menu making use of there 241 taco deal they have on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

This is my absolute favourite restaurant! The food is incredible, the drinks are amazing, and the staff is super friendly and welcoming. Imagine Wahaca x10 in greatness. Would recommend to anyone coming to Sheffield, and I really hope you guys expand to more cities so I can go more often!

Genuinely one of the nicest restaurant experiences I've had. The food was excellent, reasonably priced and came out quickly, the tequila boards were great and the guy serving us was both really knowledgeable and down to earth. The interior is also beautiful and really well decorated, you can't go wrong

Had an enjoyable experience at Piña with some friends. Really liked the vibe both inside and out. Menu food was fantastic! The Corn Ribs were nice, not quite like elotes but delicious in their own way. All the tacos were excellent too - really liked the Birria taco - up there with one of the best taco places in Sheffield. Their Margaritas had a wide and great selection too. Would greatly recommend for a cocktails and food combined night with friends!

Such an easy easy place to have food/drinks. The food is so so good. The corn ribs are the best thing on the menu. Mad mad flavours! Staff are so laid back, really really chilled out and just happy to help. I’m pretty laid back to so this works for me. If you’re looking for a formal service then you’re in the wrong place. It is more like street food which is served in baskets and without cutlery. Works perfectly if that is what you’re looking for. Great selection of drinks also. Thanks again👊🏻
