Taco Bell in Sheffield

*Updated 2024* Full disclosure - I did work for the company several years ago, much has changed since then however. Good: Old review said The service is great, The staff are really helpful and clearly eat at the restaurant as they have good product knowledge, they always look busy but always have time for a customer. New review I barely spoke to any staff except when my order number was called. Drinks are on a self-service free refill. There's an open kitchen too so you can see the food "cooked" "fresh" as you wait, a nice touch for fast food. - this open kitchen concept has now been almost entirely covered, just a small window is left for you to collect your food when they shout your number, you'll need to stand next to people trying to eat their meals if you expect to hear it being called. Alright: Food is ok, variety isn't what it used to be, meat choices lack a feeling if quality (both the beef and the chicken are a bit rubbish) fries and nachos are over-seasoned (just a little less would be fine guys, seriously) and the burritos are too long and thin (both ends are just dry tortilla with a goopy mess in the middle, taste is fairly pleasant though), if anything I feel like portions have got smaller inside the burritos, this might be the way they've been wrapped though. It's a little overpriced for what you actually get, though my kids love it, I prefer it to maccys or KFC. Attached is a photo of the fries we got for £2.49 Bad: The atmosphere in there is non existent, the queue for the tills is next to about a third of the tables which can make for a slightly uncomfortable experience if you eat in. There is music in the dining area, however this is drowned out by the noise of the air con which is set to blow icy cold air all over your dinner (it's march and it snowed last week, why is the air con that cold?!?) Update - Staff have been replaced by ordering stations, and the open kitchen has been covered. Overall, not a great experience, but not the worst.

Best taco bell I've had in years. Food was hot, self order screens meant I didn't have to talk to anyone, my order was ready quickly, and it all tasted pretty good. Still not authentic mexican food, but very good for a taco bell. Restaurant was nicely decorated and the tables were all clean. Overall, a surprisingly enjoyable visit

Food was good, fries weren't overly seasoned. The Taco's were extremely messy, but delicious to eat. Staff were friendly and the atmosphere was not too shabby.

The lettuce/ meat differential was too high in favour of salad in the taco. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal.... surpassed expectations, which can't be grumbled at.

We popped in here when passing for a quick lunch as we were starving. Never been to a Taco Bell before and I don't like spicy stuff so I had to go on the website to see what to order as I wasn't sure from the pictures. I ordered a crispy chicken soft taco and some fries. Both were nice but there was only 1 small piece of chicken in the taco and not much lettuce or cheese. My husband ordered a chalupa supreme meal and said it was really quite nice. The service was good, think we waited about 5 minutes after ordering but it was a Monday afternoon. Our order came to under £11 which I didn't think was bad.

It's a scam, they never deliver but claim they did.

Took 30mins avoid it unless you want to wait a long time for your food, understaffed and dont know how to run a resturant

Fast service, friendly staff. Clean and tidy too. Not very busy at lunchtime on a week day. No queue. Update: there are now self service kiosks for ordering food 👌

Got a burrito which was filled with tomato mince meat tortilla chips and an abhorrent amount of salt. Couldn't eat it so awful. Chicken burrito slightly better but not tasty. Can't believe this franchise is big in America given how awful the food is.

Bangin!!! Food arrived looking exactly like the pictures ordered from!!! Good value for money and refillable pop to boot!!! Can't recommend enough!!!

Place looks rough, but food has always been solid

This store is much better than the devonshire green one in the city centre, the staff are nice and go out of their way to help. The other one always charges extra for swapping the sauce in the burritos but this one never has.

Tried something new on the menu was very tasty

Friendly staff and nice and quiet compare to McDs or Greggs. The issue was the food was so salty I could barely eat it, go through 3 large refills and then another litre of water when I got home. I love mexican food, but won't be returnig here, unfortunately.

Great food, a little slow in service

Appalling customer service, shocked that a member of staff would threaten to spit in our food if we attended just before closing again. Rude staff who wouldn’t give us our app order at the drive thru, made us go and park to walk in and collect at the counter.

Out of all chain places visited one the best food actually looks like pictures tastes good i found good value to most fast foodalthough over £ 3 . 50 for a bottled drink is steep stick to the dispensed. Visited my autistic son staff were really friendly and understanding with us always appreaciated.

Best Taco Bell In the city. The App needs to have an option to save your card details. Such a bore typing them all in every time.

Staff are friendly, food was ready relatively quickly, tacos were the best bit but the volcano burrito and crunch wrap supreme were mediocre at best. Update: Went in recently and the food was pretty much perfect. I decided to go for chicken instead of beef and it’s a lot tastier. Crunch wrap supreme was lovely and the spicy chicken griller was amazing.

Returned Form a trip to Scotland and only had Scottish money on me which was refused as apparently it is their company policy and they DO NOT accept it. So what do Taco Bell Glasgow and Edinburgh do then??? This is Legal Sterling Cash and should be accepted anywhere in England Scotland or Wales.. Train your staff to identify currency as you should..

Gave food another chance past few times i've had it from here has been vile. Got my order today and there was barely any meat, food was freezing cold, drowned in sauce and just plain soggy. Basically inedible it went straight in the bin. I should of trusted my previous judgement the food has definitely not improved. Lost our custom that's for sure

Reliably good food In a convenient location for both the arena and Valley centretainment. With indoor and outdoor seating we've always found somewhere to sit even at their busiest times. I'd recommend the crispy chicken burrito meal for a good value and filling menu choice

The menu wasn't as good as some of the other restaurants but it was still nice

Shocking food. Had 3 small bits of chicken in each taco. And tons of lettuce. No sauce. The wraps are pathetic and no flavour

It's OK. Nothing special but not bad. Bit expensive for what it actually is in my opinion but others may disagree.

Well that was the worst Taco Bell 🔔 I have ever had ! The tacos had hardly any meat but plenty of lettuce . I m from the states but been I the Uk 30 years it was bad simple as that

I absolutely enjoy the delicious foods of TacoBell. The best of all is the cravings box with tacos and churros. The delivery through JustEat or Deliveroo is costly though. They charge different price when you order online and that's different from the delivery fee and the service charge. But, the food is great.

Always nice food however the staff on this occasion were very welcoming and pleasant so made the experience that much better

Staff there are always super friendly and genuinely seem to care. Service is always really fast even when it’s busy. Food is the best of any Taco Bell. It’s consistently fresh and piping hot.

Been waiting to try taco bell for ages so I tried the cravings meal for 2 because I was starving and it was amazing especially the cinnamon twists

Just been to Taco bell with my son, got to say its the most organised and cleanest I have seen the restaurant, the food was quick and the order was correct, I though the cheese sauce on the nachos was a bit low but they manager I think is Marcus sorted it straight away, this is how it should be run amd a good team behind the counter today even with a trainee on the till!!!!, well done all.

My first taco bell experience, and regardless of the food, couldn't have been served by nicer, warmer or more pleasant people behind the counter. Truly a model fast food experience.

The restaurant very dirty,on tables only food,I had to clean the table myself,nowone was bothering to do that.About the food I cant say to much because was first time when I tried this type of food.To be honest,was disgusting

It was my first Taco bell. Quite nice for the price, tasty, fresh, no thrills... makes a change from the usual fast food.

There used to be an elderly lady on the till so friendly and really enjoyed working there. The service is sooo quick. Inside it’s nice and clean. The value of the food is great and a good choice to choose from. Worth a stop.

Food tastes nice. My Daughter prefers it here than Maccy's! Don't forget to ask for sachets of hot sauce they keep them behind the till..

Nice for the price, don't expect top quality its cheap. Three bean wrap is a bargain 1.99 for a cheesy bean burrito wrap.

The duty manager accused me of trying to Scam free food after they messed my order up, and forgot my desert. Disgusting customer service attitude.
